**What do you like best about Brella?**

Brella makes event networking genuinely useful by matching attendees based on their interests and goals. The app is easy to use, helps us schedule meetings efficiently, and encourages meaningful connections rather than random networking. Overall, it has significantly improved attendee engagement and increased the value of our events. We use it sporadically for some of our events, depending on the format and needs. Customer support has been great, and the platform integrates easily into our setup.

**What do you like best about Brella?**

I use it for tradeshow events that I am attending to pre-book appointments for either before-the-show meetings or on-site. It's great to see the attendance ahead of time.
I had a login issue, and Support emailed me back in 3 minutes. After a couple of exchanges, they figured out the fix in under 10 minutes—very fast.

**What do you dislike about Brella?**

The App seems to self-pick people it thinks I should meet. Not that effective and not the right people.

**What do you like best about Brella?**

This platform is exceptional, they allow the beneficiaries to complete the systematization of events with our website and individualize the image of our agenda. At the same time, it has a receptive web browser interface, allowing users to adhere to the content of the event and intervene in meetings from wherever they are. Furthermore, it allows us to integrate Brella with Salesforce, Pipedrive and HubSpot CRM to combine attendee information. The support of the benefit is developed by smartphones, iOS and Android in addition to live chat.

**What do you dislike about Brella?**

It is an exceptional platform, but it lacks intuition and sometimes its use tends to be frustrating, adding that it does not contain a free system to get to know it a little and be sure that you want to buy it.

**What problems is Brella solving and how is that benefiting you?**

live streaming to preserve both physical and virtual shows. It is a tool that is used in large exhibitions and conferences. This virtual event system allows consumers to manage agendas of various tracks, keep auditors informed about delays or changes in notifications, assign content to presenters for audiences to access and provide agendas in the specific time zones of attendees.

**What do you like best about Brella?**

1) A very intuitive platform that is easy to use and is focused on getting users to engage with others and book in meetings. 

2) It is easy to set up and only takes a couple of days.

**What do you dislike about Brella?**

A bit restrictive in functionality at times. I hope they start giving the organiser more freedom to change things in the app without compromising on the great design.

Still, there are slight lags and problems when signing on, we have had some attendees struggle to log in at times. I don't see much of any other blocking problem on the platform rather than that point

**Recommendations to others considering Brella:**

This is the best app I've tried for meetings at events. Can highly recommend to other organisers. Their meetings feature is the best I've seen. The degree of customization you can use on the backend makes sure that participants can find those they are looking for and get the most out of their time at the conference.

**What problems is Brella solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) We book all of our meetings through brella

2) We can send notifications to all of our attendees

3) We can share a full overview of our agenda and speakers on the app

The key problem with most conferences is helping attendees find the 5-10 most important people that they should meet with. Attendees are competing for attention along with hundreds of others and Brella makes it easier to connect with the right people and facilitates communication, making it an ideal tool.

The intuitive layout. It's easy to navigate right from the beginning.

**What do you dislike about Brella?**

I wish there were more customizable features, especially on the home screen. It would also be great to be able to send out custom emails within the platform.

**What problems is Brella solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We'd never used a virtual platform before Brella, so we solved the problem of cost-effectively running our annual conference and a new training event in a virtual format. We had the benefit of having the highest registration for this virtual conference compared to any of our in-person conferences.

**What do you like best about Brella?**

Their match-making feature is the best I've seen.  The degree of customization you can utilize on the backend makes sure that your meeting participants can find the people they are looking for and get the most out of their attendance.

**What do you dislike about Brella?**

Sometimes the customer support for attendees is a bit slower to respond than I would like.  However, they went above and beyond to address this concern on the days of my event to make sure I had what I needed.  Additionally, they've been expanding their North American operations, so this isn't as much of an issue now.

**What problems is Brella solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The number one reason participants come to our conference is to network, and Brella makes that process as seamless as possible.  Our attendees are able to quickly and easily set up a large number of meetings during our program, increasing their value in attendance.  This makes sure that they come back, year after year, and improves our event immensely.

**What do you like best about Brella?**

All needed tools are in one platform. The best part is that I have my calendar synch with my PC, as well I can access all my meetings and the events of the summit in one place; there were minor bugs in the earlier versions, but I have seen that all those bugs were solved in the latest version. I don't see a tool in the market for events that cover all the event requirements and meetups like Brella for the moment

Still there are slight lags and problems for signing on safari, I hope to solve them as they did on chrome, I don't see much of any other blocking problem on the platform rather than that point

I used Brella 4 times in 4 different events, and it keeps all my history and tracks all event needs, it combines events agenda and networking in the same place which is great

Brella is a one-of-a-kind tool to enable networking in your events among the attendees. It automates the networking experience and drives great results too. The product has evolved tremendously over the years and stepped up from the features standpoint.

The billing and subscription are a little sales-driven and not product-led.

**What problems is Brella solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We hosted a VC Connect where we connected mutliple VCs with founders on the Brella platform. It just works! We've been able to drive 1000+ meetings through the plartform effortlessly if done otherwise would have taken a lot of man-hours.

The platform is user-friendly, has well-developed matchmaking, and offers the most important features to organize successful B2B conferences. Over the past 18 months, the platform has undergone a lot of development and positive change, with more in the pipeline for 2022. Moreover, the Brella team offers great customer service and is open to and acts on client feedback.

**What do you dislike about Brella?**

There are limitations in customizing direct emails and messages that can be sent from the platform to facilitate onboarding and attendee engagement, but these are scheduled to be addressed shortly.

**What problems is Brella solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have transformed all of our physical B2B conferences into virtual events. The organization of some 20 events on Brella has resulted in the development of a hybrid events strategy that we would have never imagined two years ago.

**What do you like best about Brella?**

We like how simple it is to set up and the specifics for networking which we can import; this is great for our users. We also like how easy it is to import other information such as attendees, sponsors and speakers.

**What do you dislike about Brella?**

That the content closes off to anyone after 2 weeks, and anyone who didn't attend can then not access this. There is a lot of imports to negate for each section; it would be amazing to be able to import a master spreadsheet.

**Recommendations to others considering Brella:**

This is a great basic events platform; it has everything you need to manage participants and stream via zoom. There is a lot of admin to it, though, to get it up and to run.

**What do you like best about Brella?**

I loved how easy it was to request meetings, accept or decline appointments, and took a lot of the natural awkwardness of a networking conference out of the way. Brella made this conference one of the most successful I've ever attended in close to 20 years of attending conferences. I wish all conferences used Brella.

**What do you dislike about Brella?**

I'm not sure there were too many downsides. If anything, I would say there were a number of people who seemed unaware of Brella, or at least unaware of the functionality and convenience of the app. The more it spreads, the less this will be a problem.

**What problems is Brella solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The perennial problem with every conference is that there are so many people and only so much time. As a vendor in the insurance industry, I am competing for attention along with hundreds of others. Brella makes requests and declines painless, and facilitates communication within the app, making it the ideal tool for the conference setting.

**What do you like best about Brella?**

Easy to use. Good GUI. And best of all are the automated table assignments. Pair that with a great messaging tool and this is a really great app to us.

**What do you dislike about Brella?**

I wish that you could hide attendees that you don't want to see. At some of the events we attend there are hundreds of attendees and many of them we already know and do business with. It would be nice to be able to hide them from the list so we can more easily focus on the remaining attendees. Especially since many attendees do not build a profile until days before. This means you have to come back to the app over and over to see who has a newly created profile in the days leading up to the event. The ability to hide those we don't want to talk to for any reason would greatly improve the ability to use the app efficiently.

Great app that allows us to use our time wisely when attending networking conferences. My team is there to work, not party. This means we need to be efficient and set up as many meetings as possible.

I am familiar with it, having used it for several years at multiple events.
It is not that great, but it sucks slightly less than all of the others I have tried.

**What do you dislike about Brella?**

Oh, oh, so many missing things; it can often be slow or unreachable at events, there is no off-line mode, there is no easy way to get data out from it.
It claims to have AI matching, but from the results I have seen, it is simple keyword matching.

It helps with finding people to meet at events, and seems to be able to get most people to complete their profile. This makes it easier to decide to meet people.

Interactive meets, lots of ways to get to know of people and AI-based recommendation systems.

Some bugs were present during our job fair. Also some of the features were not too easy to use. For example, there could have been more time to figure out how breakout rooms work beforehand.

One of the best sites for online or hybrid events.

Mostly the problem of connecting people during a pandemic. We did not benefit from the product financially, since University works as nonprofit. However, there were at least triple the amount of attendees comparing to last time we used brella.

The AI-matchmaking feature is one of the best tools available on Brella. It really gives one the ability to automatically connect with like-minded people with similar interests.

**What do you dislike about Brella?**

The one thing Brella should improve on is the ability to link/merge info of back-end uploaded speakers with their respective speaker profiles. That would be a great addition to the platform. One other thing Brella could probably improve on to make the experience better is to introduce ticketing and front-facing event microsites on the platform.

We have been able to help people find each other and connect virtually as they would IRL (in real life). With the pandemic and inability to get people in the same room, this is a really 'good-to-have' feature.

Finding new connections is extremely easy with Brella. Brella's algorithm helped me to connect with people who I wouldn't have found otherwise. It was easy to take meetings virtually, no need to hassle with Zoom links as Brella provided the video software also.

**What do you dislike about Brella?**

Honestly, I can't think of much. Only thing that comes to my mind is the ability to add matchmaking categories yourself (they were pre-defined by the organizer).

I've gone to many conferences but finding the right people to discuss with is super difficult. Brella saved me tons of time.

Easy to use and live sessions. The one on one feature is highly desirable. Easy to use software. Offers lots of flexibility in managing meetings. Software makes it seamless to network. The various (virtual chats) offers great options - improving user experience.

Their support - Interfaces and UX are great but when in dispair, like we were to set up our event online, they were fast, helpful and very kind in all support they gave us.

The price - but this is because I am a small very small SME. :/ We cannot use them for all our events yet.

**What do you like best about Brella?**

I have been organizing events for nearly a decade.  Networking is the most important thing for our constituents, and the ability to help them connect with relevant stakeholders is critical.  Brella provides the structure for us to make this happen -- it is super easy for our attendees to identify and find like-minded individuals.  We love it, and our attendees love it.

**What do you dislike about Brella?**

They have already worked out a lot of bugs that we addressed in the past.  I hate the joining link process and had to create a workaround.  Our events are paid and to get individual join links is painful, as there is no integration with our current registration platform.  And Brella doesn't have a native registration platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Brella:**

I would strongly recommend it if networking is a critical component of your event!

**What problems is Brella solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brella makes it easy for our attendees to find relevant matches incredibly quickly.  Our events usually have well over 1,000 people, and we are sector agnostic, but impact-focused.  This means that people have very divergent interests -- some may be interested in agriculture, and others in healthcare or financial inclusion.  At our scale, it is difficult to rely on serendipity to meet relevant people.  Brella lets our attendees comb through 1,000+ participants to find the individuals who are interested in very specific sectors, investment opportunities, and learning topics.

Brella brings the missing element to different events and meetups. It really makes those visits and days more valuable when you can be sure to meet interesting people and businesses. In addition, it's easy to use.

There are not things I dislike but some additional company data could be added to app to get to know the person you're meeting with better.

Nothing comes to mind. It would be cool if Brella could automatically pull additional details about attendees from external sources such as Linkedin etc.

My primary goal when attending events is to build my network, but this (as most of us know)  does not just happen by showing up. Brella is a game-changer. Their powerful matchmaking functionality, smart scheduling feature, and beautifully designed interface make events so much more valuable.

The ability to connect with other attendees at events makes it a lot easier to find those with shared interests; the filtering feature is great for this.
Brella is certainly the best event networking app I've used.

**What do you dislike about Brella?**

I've experienced a couple of app crashes during events - it seemed to it got fixed quickly, though.
I have been most successful in connecting with relevant people going through attendees manually - the "recommended" list could use some improvement.

Going to events not knowing who to look for. Brella makes it possible to establish meaningful connections.
Finding investors can be difficult, so a tool like Brella is a big help at events to make the search posible.

I like how the video and chat is integrated directly into the Brella platform. Without Brella, I have to schedule a meeting with a separate Zoom or Google Meet link. Therefore, I like how Brella has all of it on one platform.

**What do you dislike about Brella?**

People are used to using other platforms, so there is a learning curve when switching to Brella. Perhaps some of the functions could be more intuitive, since people I were calling were struggling to figure out how to screen share. Additionally, I wasn't sure if the video was incorporated into the platform, so maybe make that more clear.
Another new feature could be having meetings with multiple users at once. It would be cool if that were possible.

I work for a VC firm and wanted to network with startups. I like how each person has  short bio including their position, company, industry, etc. so you know what they do and what they are looking for. This helped me identify good matches to chat with.

**What do you like best about Brella?**

It allows networking during conferences, along with the speaking schedule. It automatically assigns a table to meet at and has ok calendar integration.

**What do you dislike about Brella?**

Very hard to navigate as a conference user.  I find it really hard to see if there is a speaker I want to hear when someone requests to meet with me.  The whole site is buggy. I set up networking 3 times before it actually worked, and the first two times it wasn't clear it didn't work, so it took me a few days to get networking working. It really needs to be an app - people will be on their phones while at the event. Right now it is a website, and the URL isn't the greatest, so it is hard to find.  It is so difficult to use, that I'm even messing up meeting times and my schedule - something it is supposed to help me with.

**What problems is Brella solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows you to schedule speaking events you want to see and network with other conference-goers.  Solves the problem of where to meet and to network at a conference but doesn't do it super well. I would not recommend any conference to use them, there must be better solutions out there.

The steams feature was a little difficult to figure out - what works best for live streaming versus pre-records.  We used an outsourced company to help with the video and hybrid live versus pre-record event. It would have been easier to use one over the over.
