"Neural Networks in JavaScript"

What do you like best?

- Enables one to bring machine learning in JavaScript with powerful Neural Network API. As Machine Learning has become essential and now a days can be used for solving any problem but requires more of computation power. This library enables one to run Neural Network models on client side so that all burden is not put on the main server. This I think is the best about this library.

- As one can deploy Neural Network models on website he/she can deploy different machine learning solutions as a web app and make available to others easily.

What do you dislike?

This is the best JavaScript machine learning library I have ever found .No issues regarding it. I am happy with brain.js.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It's really not necessary to know how neural networks are build and what goes on under the hood. This library is so powerful that you can easily build Neural Networks on the go without learning the total working of one. Here is a link which explains you how : https://itnext.io/you-can-build-a-neural-network-in-javascript-even-if-you-dont-really-understand-neural-networks-e63e12713a3

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

As at ML Hub we use Machine Learning as one of the technologies to solve various real-world problems. brain.js is the perfect match for us to deploy ML on web as it provides robust API which is well optimized and can be learnt within a week or two. This is what the feedback I got from different employees we have trained on brain.js.

"Neural Networks on Browser"

What do you like best?

It gives you ability to train your own neural network or even run any of them on the go in any browser available. As neural networks are now a days used for solving many problems and have humongous amount of use cases, the idea that neural networks can now run on web browsers makes it easily accessible to everyone. Also now anyone can deploy and run their own neural network on the go using simple JavaScript code using this very powerful library.

What do you dislike?

This is a start of something new - bringing Neural Networks to web browsers, which really opens a new window for experimenting. Instead of counting dislikes I am focused on the advantages it provides. I am happy with the whole experience and have no complaints!

Recommendations to others considering the product:

There are much more such libraries available that helps you to play with machine learning models on browser, I advise you to please try those and experiment around them. As this things are very useful and emerging I also request everyone to contribute to such open source libraries and help the community grow.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Many of our clients require web applications that need some Machine Learning base. We used to deploy such algorithms on the server and called them on the client side when required using some API but since brain.js we now deploy our models on client side itself using simple JavaScript and through this we were able to create fast results and so more throughput. Even the load on server was decreased and all this led to happy clients. Thanks a lot brain.js!

What Artificial Neural Network solution do you use?

Thanks for letting us know!

"My experience has been great but would like to be able to use more. "

What do you like best?

The best think is that it’s fast paced technology compared to others I have used in the past. I think brain is great for any company to use to excel their business.

What do you dislike?

I dislike that ability to use with other links and apps I use on a daily basis.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are solving how to be a proactive business. We have seen an increase in costumers.
