I like the way it makes things easier to train neural networks and monitors the performance by being interactive.

I just feel it might be a little complicated initially to setup for naive users (but once setup it might be very easy to maintain) though i have to try out myself.  I am also skeptical about its scalability for larger data models or networks.

I'm trying to solve a problem that is kind of similarity searching.  We are trying to take the large unknown DNA sequences and try to compare them with the existing ones and align them using various methods and finally try to find the closest matching pattern to know which genome does the sequence belong to.

**What do you like best about NVIDIA Deep Learning GPU Training System (DIGITS)?**

NVIDIA always gives the power for developers and data scientists to simplify many tasks in AI and ML fields. DIGITS is one such creation that helps developers to design and train more complex networks. The exciting thing is it is an open-source project. Really the main reason I liked DIGITS is that they built nice tooling around  the data and the learning process so we could get the gist of your errors quickly and fix them as they arise.

**What do you dislike about NVIDIA Deep Learning GPU Training System (DIGITS)?**

The only difficulty is writing the first and last layers of the network correctly so that DIGITS understands what to do with it.

Training Image recognition networks. It's very simple to set up simple CNNs using caffe, visualize them and see if they are training correctly.

facing difficulties writing the first and last layer of network except that I like it all

Nvidia  is always good at GPU's, and recently, as a data center product Nvidia DGX2 has shown good performance numbers

More deep learning framework support. I am developing in Pytorch as well, support with it would be an interesting feature.

 biggest plus factors compared to a GPU is that we have a  fully standalone chip that does not need to have a CPU with our  main system memory attached to it

Ability to see how the networks train in real time. Inference, with visualization of each feature map and layer response. Easy generation of datasets and models.

Poor documentation. Difficulty to add new layers. Only works in 2D. Difficult to install.
