What do you like best about AWS Deep Learning AMIs?

AWS Deep Learning AMI has a pre-configured AI environment which is by far it's best feature. Everything that is needed is pre installed and optimized which includes

-TensorFlow

-PyTorch

-CUDU Drivers

-GPU Support etc.

What do you dislike about AWS Deep Learning AMIs?

One of the drawbacks of AWS Deep Learning AMI is that it's heavy on pockets as it includes High Cost GPU Infrastructure. The AMI is free but the Amazon EC2 GPU instances needed for deep learning can become expensive quickly.

Moreover, it also requires AWS/Cloud knowledge to operate and also beginners may find security/setup and networking confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AWS Deep Learning AMIs solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helped us in setting up the AI Environment in no time which may take days for organizations to setup because it comes with pre installed and configured tools required to run the AWS such as Python, CUDU and GPU drivers.

It also solved our GPU Infrastructure challenges as setting up high performance GPU machines locally is expensive and difficult and AWS allowed us to use Cloud GPUs on demand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
