What do you like best about Blue Onion?

User freindly, connected seamlessly with our POS + Bank and helps alot with cash reconciliation. Best to use when compared to all the other services. A Simple and trust worthy platform where the calculations are accurate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blue Onion?

Some integrations has to be improved since as of now we have to manually generate the reports other than this everything works great. There are no major complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blue Onion?

I love that the software is very easy to use (learning how to navigate is a cinch), very accurate (superb audit-ability) and that the Blue Onion support team is always available to help Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blue Onion?

Some downsides are: subscription discount incompatibility (sales come through net and you have to gross them up) & multiple channels running through shopify (backing out wholesale or other AR that is fulfilled through shopify but not paid through a merchant) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blue Onion?

I reached out to Blue Onion in the hopes that our Shopify journal entries and month end reporting cycle could be improved. Prior to Blue Onion, it would take 5 days to compile the data, create JEs, and reconcile payment processors. A very labor-intensive process. For the past year, JEs are created on day 1 and by day 2 payment processors are reconciled. This far exceeded my expectations. Lyndsey and her team are not looking for customers, they are looking for partners. Partners who provide feedback that can be used to improve the platform. In a world of automated customer service, it is refreshing that a person reads my emails and responds to my requests with a true answer.

Blue Onion has been a fantastic tool that helps me close my clients' financials more efficiently each month. I can easily run reports for deferred revenue, recognized revenue, deposits received, and cash in transit. I can also drill down into specific order and payment details if needed. What do you dislike about Blue Onion?

It would be great if the journal entries would sync directly with QBO. We are currently entering the journal entries manually. The journal entries are provided through Blue Onion, but a sync would make this process even quicker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Blue Onion provides a trustworthy order to cash reconciliation without the need for a bottoms up, ineffcient spreadsheet, while still providing line item level detail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blue Onion?

Hard to suggest something that we dislike. It would be awesome to see an update related to subscription revenue recognition, especially if the subscriptions are being processed through a platform like Stripe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
