## About BitSave
BitSave is a neural-network preprocessor for video encoding. Its models are applied immediately prior to a video encoder in order to reduce encoding bitrate without compromising visual quality. BitSave is applicable to AVC, HEVC, VVC, VP9 and AV1 standards and, if used together with open source encoders, can offer up to 40% reduction in bitrate versus other industry-leading encoding services.

**What do you like best about BitSave?**

Used BitSave mostly for video editing, with the goal of improving quality. This software is able to enhance the quality of videos quickly and reliably.

**What do you dislike about BitSave?**

Can be a steep learning curve to use the software initially. There is room for improvement in the user friendliness, however, once you learn the basics it's worth the hassle.

**What problems is BitSave solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used BitSave to encode our company videos. Prior to BitSave, we used an expensive alternative program that took nearly twice as long and was definitely less bang for the buck.
