I like compatibility with bitninja and everything else **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Music | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024 **What do you like best about BitNinja?** I prefer plesk panel for website hosting and plesk and bitninja works as it should. **What do you dislike about BitNinja?** the cyber panel and bitninja are compatible, but I experienced a lot of endless bugs and the firewall simply didn't protect me. **What problems is BitNinja solving and how is that benefiting you?** The bitninja protects against ALL attacks (I may say this with exaggeration, but it’s still true), including DOS attacks, hacker injections into the database, clever tricks, etc. It is impossible for a hacker to break through the protection if it is updated and if the site owner himself manages it intelligently and doesn't make logical errors. Like any site, bitninja in some cases is powerless simply from strong attacks if bitninja is turned off for this time, but if we say what is better - to be without this app, and have your own personal firewalls without proper configuration, or subscribe to their site and protect site and server with its own firewall with almost one click to have the most strongest firewall on the planet - I’ll choose the latter. And I would have betrayed myself in this review if I hadn't written that bitninja is simply a masterpiece in terms of the fact that it allows you to enable a firewalls applications in plesk and other methods of protection while it itself is working, that is, you need just restart the server and all these things are completely compatible with each other. I don't think that it's compatible with other firewalls, but it's compatible with plesk in 2023-2024 years. ### 2. So I have desided to try BitNinja for fix this bad situation. Before use this service, I recived on websites of my customers about 200 spam comments every day. about 1000 attempts of login every day. So this situation became every day more worse. Now with BitNinja I recive not more of 3 or 4 spam comments per day, for now 0 (this is a fantastic result) attempts of login to wordpress or other types of customers' websites. This service protect my server, and I have had mode to see this from logs files, against brute force attacks, ssh attacks, port scanning and more other events. With bitninja I continue to use my external firewall, one internal network firewall and fail2ban for keep my security level always elevate. One big difference from this service and the other ones that I have tried is that this service don't use a lot of resources, keep the server always speed. It is very simple to monitor all situation in a unified dashboard. **What do you dislike about BitNinja?** For now I have noted that for the first 3 or 4 hours the server became very slow and bitninja used a lot of resources (expecially hard drive and CPU) for scan all server informations and all logs content. This event is well explain on their documentation. But when this time is past the server return to normal function state **What problems is BitNinja solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have resolve DDOS attacks, login attempts, port scanning, brute force and spam comments and emails. ### 12. We have been using BitNinja for several months and we are very satisfied. We tested for a long time before making the software available on production servers. The tests were successful, so we implemented the software on all production servers. Average server load dropped by 15 - 20% and it is more regular without peaks.
