# Which Dayforce consulting firms specialize in API integrations with existing time tracking and HR systems?

Hey G2 community, API work is where a lot of Dayforce consulting engagements quietly succeed or fail, since connecting a third-party time tracker or legacy HR system into Dayforce isn't something you can configure through the standard admin screens; it requires someone who actually understands both systems' data structures. Reading through Dayforce Consulting Services reviews with that specific lens filtered out many firms that mention "integrations" generically but don't have reviewer evidence of having actually built one.

Seequelle: Reviewers specifically describe them building an API to pull data from an existing system into Dayforce to eliminate duplicate entry, and separately connecting a third-party labor time tracker to Dayforce Timesheets, with one reviewer noting it "was built quickly and runs perfectly." Has anyone had them build a two-way sync rather than a one-directional data pull, and did the complexity scale the way you expected?

Sability: One reviewer credits them directly with solving "connectivity between our HRMS and timekeeper," and their team-based model means that if one consultant lacks expertise in a specific integration, another team member is looped in, rather than the client waiting on a single point of contact.

Adaptalytics: Lists custom integrations as a named service line specifically for connecting Dayforce to other enterprise systems, though it doesn't yet have G2 reviews confirming real-world integration outcomes.

Align Human Capital Management: Describes integrations as part of its vendor-agnostic HCM service, though its current G2 reviews center on UltiPro and UKG time-and-attendance work rather than Dayforce-specific integrations, so its Dayforce API track record isn't yet independently documented on G2.

For anyone who's had a consultant build a genuinely custom integration rather than using a pre-built connector: how much of the timeline was spent on the Dayforce side versus mapping the other system's data first?

Filtering out firms that mention "integrations" generically without any reviewer evidence of an actual build is exactly the right instinct. Seen plenty of vendor pages claim integration depth that turns out to mean they've heard of an API, not that they've shipped one.
