The integration between 'modules' is great and provides most of the features we need. In addition, being a small company, BigSIS really does provide great customer service. BigSIS worked with us up front to develop a system that worked for us. We aren't your standard school, we work directly with districts within our state to ensure students receive an education tailored to their needs. It makes sense and is super easy to use. The ability to have many 'tabs' open at once in multiple areas of the application is really handy, so the user doesn't have to move out of and then back into different areas is a real time saver. There is some functionality that we could use that isn't implemented in BigSIS. For instance, printing reports for a class and having it come out on one page, not a new page for each student, would be good, as would being able to specify an advisor for a program/grade and have them see only that grade (even if the course is covers multiple programs/grades. I dislike that many fields of data cannot be exported. Many teachers (and admin) do not have time to look up information "one student at a time." They ask for lists and simple reports.
