**What do you like best about Bevy?**

Bevy has been a great platform for connecting members of our community. The user interface is simple and easy to use. They frequently make improvements to their platform, and they are quick to provide support for issues. The onboarding process was thorough, and the team provides ongoing support and check-ins.

**What do you dislike about Bevy?**

There are some limitations with the platform such as needing to select a city for groups. Additionally, some of the changes to our site need to be made by the Bevy team which in some cases would be easier done by our team.

Bevy is helping us connect our community for in-person and virtual events in a more efficient way.

Bevy makes it easy to scale community and field events across multiple regions while maintaining consistent branding and attendee experience. **What do you like best about Bevy?**

Thanks to Bevy, we have successfully embraced true customer-led events. By empowering customer chapter leaders to shape their chapters and events the way they see fit, we’ve seen a significant boost in engagement and community spirit. The platform is incredibly easy to use, catering perfectly to end users, chapter leads, and HQ admins. Bevy has made managing and participating in events seamless and enjoyable for everyone involved.

**What do you dislike about Bevy?**

No ability for members to communicate to each other or build a network with each other directly through Bevy. No ability to upload event documents, notes etc. directly in Bevy.

**What problems is Bevy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to Bevy, we have successfully transitioned to truly customer-led events by empowering our customer chapter leaders to shape their chapters and events the way they see fit. This level of autonomy is crucial for fostering genuine engagement and community growth. **What do you like best about Bevy?**

Bevy has the native tools and features to enable and equip our community leaders to be creative with their meetups, which is what a platform such as this one should offer. For example, creating event descriptions, uploading photos, communicating with attendees, custom images, and more. Also, Bevy's support team is top notch; thorough, consistent, and available.

**What do you dislike about Bevy?**

Not a dislike, but a feature enhancement could be to add date and timeof events to their Slack integration. So that when the event populates in a Slack channel, it shows the event date/time too. Right now, it shows just a few details, title, link to event, description.

**What problems is Bevy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bevy is connecting Slack's global community of passionate end users, developers, designers and builders. The platform equips the Community team with the resources we need to run a community marketing department.

**What do you like best about Bevy?**

When we knew we wanted to build our user group program, we knew Bevy would be a great tool to help us build and scale this. We had a smooth implementation and it was easy to use right from the beginning stages. We've been using Bevy for the last two years now and we have had a smooth experience in building our chapters across the globe. Be it our Customer Success Manager or the support team, they've been very prompt and helpful always. We're looking forward to scaling our program bigger and better with Bevy in the coming years.

Some experiences that could have been better for us are having an integration with our Community platform to facilitate an easy engagement with our online community members and user group members.

Bevy helps us scale our user group program across the globe with its ability to run user-led chapters/ events virtually and in person. It helps us keep track of the user group performance, what could be improved, what is going well, etc.

**What do you like best about Bevy?**

The ability to manage all events through a central interface, to communicate my messages to all members of the community or to parts of it, very effective, to see the full picture with the help of a very rich analytics interface, the ability to manage events with other chapters and includes support for three main types of events, In- Person, Hybrid, Online.

I don't like not having full control and the ability to communicate with a single community member

The problems that the platform solves are mainly to provide a central management interface for the content of the events, for communication with the community members, support for several types of events, providing the ability to learn from deep analytics, providing a solution to the check in problem at the entrance to the event and for the whole issue of community members' payments, sponsor management and community management payments for each chapter

**What do you like best about Bevy?**

Bevy has become my favorite platform to date, and it continues to improve significantly. When I first started using it, I faced some challenges, but now it has become my preferred platform, and I can't imagine switching to any other. It is very easy to use and navigate.

**What do you dislike about Bevy?**

Despite Bevy being my preferred platform, many of my event attendees still face challenges when logging into events, especially if the event has already started. I believe Bevy needs to add a "Join" button immediately after registration, allowing attendees to join ongoing events without having to wait for an email.

Bevy streamlines event management and enhances community engagement, saving time and resources while providing robust analytics and integration capabilities. This efficiency and insight help me host successful, cost-effective online events.

**What do you like best about Bevy?**

Bevy is a great platform for managing communities. I have been using it for 5+ years and must really commend it's ease of use. Its great features include seamless onboarding of members to a community, intuitive event creation process and management, automated emailing, amongst others amazing features. Bevy is the undoubtedly the best community management platform out there.

**What do you dislike about Bevy?**

I can't think of any unlikable feature rigth now.

**What problems is Bevy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am currently a Startup Grind Director, and GDG Chapter Lead. Interestingly both are reputable global communities that have adopted Bevy for management of Local Communities. Bevy helps me to manage my members effectively by keeping them updated with latest events, communicating via emails, seamless event check-ins, follow ups and lots more.

**What do you like best about Bevy?**

Bevy is a simple and easy to use platform.  We host over 100 virtual events on Bevy each year with over 5,000 particpants very seamlessly.  The platform keeps getting better, each release and update continues to build on our feedback and allow us to continue to innovate with our platform.

**What do you dislike about Bevy?**

Two years ago, this would have the virtual meeting hosting tools, but those have improved beyond anything else we use! Again, the Bevy team listens and is rapidly improving.

We are a small nonprofit, and Bevy offered us an all in one solution to host virtual events and conference on the same platform was huge! It reduced our costs and simpflied our event management as well as our attendee experince.

Previous to Bevy, I was using six different solutions to manage my community. 

Now, with Bevy, I'm saving so much time and money having everything integrated into one platform.

One of the best features is how easy it is for me to onboard users on my team. This is essential so that all activities are executed in a consistent and high-quality manner.

I'm always excited when Bevy releases new features and updates.

Now that the guest experience is top-notch on mobile, I've nothing to dislike!

The ability to generate statistics and indicators of the events of a community, as well as integrate a series of actions that allow the monitoring and growth of the community

**What do you dislike about Bevy?**

Although I consider it intuitive, the data acquisition it allows makes entry for New users in some cases less direct than on other platforms. Only, this disadvantage goes hand in hand with its great advantage: acquisition of data that is used for the benefit of statistics and indicators.

I consider this condition for "loyal" communities to be not a problem

Usability has improved in recent versions. It helps a lot to make guests feel more comfortable.

I love the fact that I am able to upload our event on Bevy and everyone with our registration link can reserve a seat and I can manualy reserve seats for those interested in our inperson events. The chek-ins are very easy and hustle free.

Bevy does not allow extraction of guest email for future usage.

Event Orginizing, and Bevy is assisting me know who is interested in attending our event and who will attend our event.

Well being a community builder for several years , I have used various tools but Bevy has the real DNA of a community building tool that is super intuitive with the best user experience possible and now with gen AI it also acts as a co pilot for community builders.

One might think the pricing for companies may be high but honestly it is worth it. Overall, I can vouch for bevy for community builders.

Managing the entire workflow and events for communities there are 100s of things that are involved and generic event platforms don't understand the specifics of running events driven by communities and Bevy has solved many things in this solve quite well.

Really like the ease of launching events, plus building momentum before and carrying it afterwards with the "discussion" feature built into event pages

If you're looking for more robust community management for things like online course creation, modules, and micro-communities based off of those, Bevy is limited.

**What problems is Bevy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Launching events on Bevy is super easy particularly with the AI feature. I always feel like creating an event on other platforms is a nuisance. Bevy events can get set up very quickly and with minimal thought. For example, instead of having to think through a creative marketing description for the event, you can just input some key details into Bevy and the AI will spit out options for promo copy.

The development curve for bevy, in the last 4 years has been nothing short of amazing. The Ai enabled Analytics platform stands out along with the excellent event management feature.

How it colaborates in all of the steps to organize, execute and keep everybody aware of the uocoming events and the way it keeps organizers informed of the performance of those events

I would love it to have public profiles of Chapter members and kind of a ligth LMS for business related training, I mean, not all of the LMS required for a school grade platform but basic content post and tracking its used will increase engagement from members

Bevy has been a gamechanger for me at Startup Grind Scotland. We organise a wide range of events across the country that each requires a significant level of organisation.

The ability to have a one-stop-shop for tickets, event copy, data, and email promo makes each event a seamless experience.

Would highly recommend to any community builder across the globe.

Would love to have access to even more newsletter tools such as inserting GIFs.

I can not think of something that I dislike about Bevy, many more communication tools between community members would be a good add-on.

**What do you like best about Bevy?**

I love that Bevy is one centralized stop for all things community events. It's so easy to start and host events to engage your community, and the implementation was seamless. I love that as soon as I publish an event, it integrates with Salesforce and creates a campaign for me, which takes off a load of work on my part. Also, customer support is out of this world; they answer quickly and are thorough in making sure the customer is happy. I use the platform every day to find new ways to make my program better.

I wish the app had a bit more functionality to it.

Bevy can be compared to Meetup, but it gives organizers more control over event planning, data, and managing communication with the attendees. It also manages the full cycle of onboarding the organizers and tracking their activity

It is quite pricey for all of the features we require, other than that the tool is robust, helps us handle our events coordinators with ease, and is incredibly helpful with all data touchpoints.

We manage volunteer-led chapters across the world (50-70 cities), Bevy lets us manage such a high quantity of organizers all in one platform with ease and provides the data to see which chapters and organizers are performing the best. Long gone the dates of manual data input into Google Sheets!

Bevy delivers the ease-of-use of Meetup.com. However, it is better because Bevy gives administrators more control and, vitally, ownership of the data.

Bevy still doesn't have a built-in messaging tool to email all chapter members.

**Recommendations to others considering Bevy:**

If you are planning to build a chapter of user group program that includes events there's no better platform on the market than Bevy. It has a strong set of sophisticated features, is easy for end-users like volunteers to use, and can be customized to fit your messaging and brand.  

If you're going to plan and host all your own events use Eventbrite. But if you want to allow advocates, volunteers, and co-workers  to create their own sub-communities with events and a mailing list, Bevy is the only real game in town.

We use Bevy to manage our community events program. Bevy enables our volunteers to independently manage their own sub-communities in 40 countries.

With my experience I faced situations where I can only use the inbuilt mailing tool and emails of the registrants were not available. I wish it was available so that I can reach out to my community outside the app as well.

As such there is no disadvantage in my point. There is an excellent customer support and they protect your data. 

Only thing I would recommend them to advertise their tool so that they can have a good customer base all over the globe.

The fact that I can create an event in less then 5 minutes - and then scale my community to hundreds of in real life (IRL) events around the world, is simply something no other software can do. 

If you're into Customer-to-Customer (C2C) marketing or simply creating a community around an idea, brand or cause, then Bevy is your solution. The power of it's Analytics, Permissions and ease of Events Management surpasses anything else out there.

Creating community events has never been this easy.

**What do you dislike about Bevy?**

When I drag and drop the videos and images from my recent event onto the page to showcase what we are about, and excite future attendees, I wish it would load slightly faster, but I think that could just be my slow internet in Africa.

**Recommendations to others considering Bevy:**

Jump onto a call with the Bevy team and ask the hard questions. If you are satisfied, then get it. The Bevy team iterate often, so there are amazing features coming out every week, often a requested feature can be delivered in record time.

**What problems is Bevy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bevy solved our biggest problem - scale.

When Startup Grind grew larger than 150 In Real Life (IRL) chapters around the world, we needed a system that could take us securely into the future. Now with 600+ chapters around the world hosting 2000+ events a year, we are still ablet o grow even more confidently.

The permissions allow that chapter leaders (chapter directors) have full access to the information they need, but not have access to sensitive user information, nor have access to other communities, or chapters. At an admin level, we are able to see the overview picture with the powerful analytics as well as easily onboard and offboard our chapter leaders.

Selling tickets at a global level as well as having to manage revenue share and payouts was an absolute pain - with Bevy, it's mostly automated, solving another massive pain point.

Bevy makes setting up and managing events in my virtual community simple and fast. I've used other platforms and have gotten overwhelmed by the number of options and checkboxes I had to go through to get an event published correctly. The team at Bevy has somehow managed to harness the same type of power in a much simpler interface.

Member and partner management is a bit clunky. I wish there was a better way to see stakeholder groups and send them segmented messages based on their attendance, type, etc.

Managing virtual events specifically was fairly time-consuming before I switched. Other platforms had way too many options to fiddle with and didn't translate well to online delivery. And connecting it to the platforms I needed to manage everything holistically opened things up to malfunctions and errors.

I dare you to find another platform that can do more than Bevy - they’ve really thought of everything you need to run virtual and offline community events smoothly. It saves me so much time when organising events and I love that it tracks everything all in one spot so I’m not having to use multiple platforms or spreadsheets. The Bevy platform gives me back the time I need so I can actually focus on what counts - the people and the community!

Overall, the Bevy platform is pretty user-friendly and their support guides are easy to understand.  Having the ability to customize the type of event (in-person vs. virtual) and format (fireside chat, panel, fundraiser, etc.) is a great since we host a variety of community events and soon-to-be chapters. Beyond the platform functionality, the Bevy customer success and support teams are great to work with and helped address many of our initial questions during our onboarding phase.

**What do you dislike about Bevy?**

It would be great if there were additional design widgets that we could use to customize the look and feel of our Bevy pages so that it is a seamless match with our branding.  Along those same line, having the ability to include additional photo & video assets throughout our chapter & event pages would help to create additional excitement and participation.

**What problems is Bevy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Event management tool that is white-labeled so it integrates perfectly within our own site.  
- Ability to allow our community leaders to create and manage their own chapter pages
