The system is easy to use and has a powerful reporting platform. Thier customer service is outstanding. You also have the ability to map the level of the surveys to your internal jobs. The information can be located very easily with a minimum amount of wait time. The implementation and the ability to use globally was simple. The ease with which you can match or update a match across all pay markets in one step is such a time saver compared to other systems. Implementation was completely painless and we had great support for implementation and our day-to-day needs with a dedicated CSM. There are also lots of reports to choose from and you can even build your own or request new reports from the BetterComp team. Adding a new job level or job has to be done by upload vs. being able to just add in the tool – it would be nice to be able to just add it instead of uploading. We also have a somewhat complex local grading system in place that BetterComp was able to setup for us but some of the reporting doesn’t quite reflect the local grades yet (they’re working on it already though!) I made the decision to move my company's survey management to BetterComp over a year ago, and the best thing about BetterComp is they delivered what they sold us. BetterComp has provided us with significant efficiencies in our market pricing and survey submission process. The interface is intuitive, easy to use, and an excellent repository for all things benchmarking. Another key advantage is the magnitude of reports and visual analytics available to you to help understand range progression, outliers, and demographic comparisons to the market and your range structure. I really only have glowing comments about BetterComp. The one thing I would mention is that I would love to have the ability to add a new job level for our structure directly through the tool rather than via upload. BetterComp has been a great partner for us for five reasons:

1.) Configuration/setup was fast and easy – we were up and running in a few weeks – and most of that was us getting our data in order.

2.) The BetterComp tool is easy to learn and use. The whole team learned quickly.

3.) We also chose to purchase market data and have been very happy with the data they were able to provide.

4.) We were assigned a great Customer Experience Manager who has been with us all the way through to answer our questions and set us up.

5.) They have been very open to suggestions about report modifications and future tool enhancements.

BetterComp makes market pricing existing and new roles a breeze! My organization has many jobs + locations, and BetterComp offered a solution so we could market price the jobs all at once. Previously, I adjusted the matches for every job + location, which was painful and time consuimng. BetterComp offers an innovative solution for many compensation processes and analytics that every organization is faced with. As a very large, global organization (>30k) participating in almost 75 salary surveys, BetterComp was the best solution out of many other vendors we demoed. We found that many of the other vendors have legacy systems that make it difficult to customize the tool. BetterComp has been built with flexibility in mind and the team works very hard to accommodate customization where possible.

While we are still in the implementation phase, we have been so impressed by our senior customer experience manager who has walked us through setting up the system step-by-step. The team has very strong experience working with a variety of systems and tools and the expertise they have makes it easy for us to review the options and select the approach that is best for our organization.

We also enjoy the "customer delight" approach BetterComp uses for system enhancements. One of the best features we enjoy is being able to suggest ideas that are evaluated and seriously considered to make our lives and those of their other customers better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
