bcNAVIGATOR is a modular Business Continuity Management (BCM) software platform developed by BC Consulting, Austria's market leader in BCM consulting and software. Built on a single unified database, bcNAVIGATOR supports organizations throughout the entire BCM lifecycle from risk assessment and business impact analysis to emergency planning and crisis management. The platform consists of four independent modules: bcRISK (risk assessment), bcIMPACT (business impact analysis), bcPLAN (emergency and recovery planning), and bcCRISIS (crisis management and situation reporting). Organizations can implement all four modules or start with individual ones based on their current needs – they only pay for what they use. A key differentiator is bcNAVIGATOR's single-database architecture: data entered once is available across all modules, eliminating redundancy and ensuring consistency throughout the entire BCM program. The platform is strictly aligned with ISO 22301, the international standard for business continuity management, providing built-in compliance across all phases of the BCM process. bcNAVIGATOR is highly configurable and adapts to the specific structures and requirements of each organization – rather than forcing organizations to adapt to the software. **What do you like best about bcNAVIGATOR?**

Simple and individual configurability as well as report generation is possible without any problems, and the excellent support. Furthermore, the tool is quite user-friendly and the price-performance ratio is great.

**What do you dislike about bcNAVIGATOR?**

A small disadvantage is that after creating the reports and during table evaluation, formatting work needs to be done to bring it into the desired final form.

**What problems is bcNAVIGATOR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Business Impact Analysis is conducted with the tool and emergency plans are created. The good thing is that everything is audit-proof with the tool and you can link the emergency plans based on the data from the BIA. Instead of performing the BIA with Excel, for example, it is best to do it with this digital tool. An additional feature is that after conducting the interview, you can automatically send the results to the BIA interviewer from the tool. An interface is available here!
