The search capabilities make it easy to track possible malicious emails, grab similar ones, and take action, such as deleting them from everyone's inbox. Setup was extremely easy, and we managed to do much of the work without additional help by using the online support knowledge base from Barracuda. One thing I'd like to have available is to be able to search the mail log on specific header information (like a server IP). I really like it keeps out about 80% of the spam and phishing emails and does a really good job of not flagging the incorrect emails for the most part. I like how easy it is to block emails manually and report them to the incident response. I also like that it gives you emails when a suspcious email is found. In addition, I like how you can modify most settings without having to look too far. I can always find what I'm looking for with the interface (most of the time). Also, when I need it, customer support has been great and will help with the issues I'm having. Overall, I really like the product since I don't have to use it that much. What do you dislike about Barracuda Email Protection? Ocassionally it will let emails through that are spam or harmful. Sometimes there will be false posistives as well with account takeover protection but that's almost a plus rather than a negative. Also, sometimes an option won't work or will take some finding to implement but this is rare. Otherwise, the feature set is very extensive and very good. Most of the time the fault lies with Office 365 and not Barracuda but sometimes figuring that out takes some time. Managing both services can be a pain but that is not Barracuda's fault at all. I will have to say that figuring out which settings are global and which are application specific can be tricky as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. This makes it so I don't have to worry about them being phished out of their personal information. In addition, I save time by not having to report these matters. With cloud-to-cloud backup, it backs up all the Office 365 data and makes it so I have peace of mind if Microsoft decides to delete the information we have on Office 365 forever. I find it extremely useful that I can see the reasons behind undelivered messages, enhancing transparency and understanding of email issues. The feature that automatically blocks messages from blacklisted sites is particularly effective, increasing our email security significantly. This is frustrating as it indicates the filters, particularly DKIM, DMARC, and PKIM, don't function as effectively as they should. Furthermore, I feel that the system should automatically block messages when the email headers clearly indicate a problem, such as a 'KILL Level 6' or when a domain doesn't authorize a specific user.
