Using B2Wise as our DDMRP software provider, we have gone on to win x3 international & domestic awards (x2 CIPS & x1 SAPICS) for our work on DDMRP!

B2wise is a DDMRP specific application, providing a great translation of DDMRP theory into reality. The benefits of the software is that its built specifically for DDMRP, providing visibility of the buffer profiles / setup and easily can route cause the “why” around the messages – unlike other software’s which have converted from MRP to DDMRP lacking clarity and visibility. The ability to customize views streamlines the work of a Planner allowing them to focus on exceptions & set daily tasks. Moreover we are able to grab data from the Datamart has allowed us to generate dashboards to drive improvements based on performance over time. It’s also worth mentioning that B2Wise also provide top-quality training (Demand Driven & DDBrix) in addition to the software which helps close the gap between old MRP ways of working and new DDMRP. There are lots of functions within B2Wise, to allow for a variety of scenarios that occur in the real world e.g. factory shutdowns, anticipation zones, DAFs. However, I have experienced issues when applying these solutions and they have not worked first time. I would also like to see greater visibility around the options / functionality – there is lots within the system however I’ve not been clear around what I’m missing / or what could improve our day-to-day working. It feels like partnering with a group of supply chain practitioners who genuinely want you to succeed — because they do.

If you’re looking for a solution that combines powerful planning technology, world-class demand-driven methodology, and a support team that operates more like a strategic partner than a vendor, b2wise is the right choice. It has fundamentally changed how we plan, how we make decisions, and how we run our supply chain.

If I had to point out a dislike, it would be that b2wise’s methodology and platform are so different from traditional planning tools that it takes time for internal teams to adjust. I find B2Wise's user-friendly interface for DDMRP incredibly intuitive and easy to understand, which is essential for my work in managing projects aimed at improving supply chain planning efficiency. I greatly appreciate B2Wise's openness to develop and grow their application based on user feedback, demonstrating their commitment to continuous improvement and user satisfaction. I think their support department does an excellent job, providing effective assistance whenever needed. My positive experiences with these aspects of B2Wise, along with the product's integration capabilities with tools like D365, contribute significantly to its effectiveness in my role. B2Wise lacks functionality that makes a tactical or strategic review of under-performing items easier and more efficient. Additionally, the initial integration was problematic due to the company's lack of processes and B2Wise's limited understanding of the complexities involved.
