It's also very easy to use and quite intuitive, far better compared to what the competition has to offer in 2022. **What do you dislike about AWS X-Ray?** So far I haven't found anything that I dislike. It's really hard to find something to base the critique upon, maybe they can do a bit more on the UX / UI department. **What problems is AWS X-Ray solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're using X-rays it to analyze and run diagnoses for our distributed applications scheme. Based on those analytics we then create a dump to create more metrics and visuals. ### 2. USE IT for tracking the application behaviour and many more things. **What problems is AWS X-Ray solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have installed it on web ec2 instances which is useful for tracking the web application behaviour and the traffic.With this business performance is increased . ### 3. Common methods for debugging applications are not that easy and not accessible via the cloud, unlike AWS x-ray. The best part is its integration with EC2 services. It spans across languages and supports a variety of DB as well. The way it finds both errors and performance issues, makes the overall debugging extremely efficient. **What do you dislike about AWS X-Ray?** Just like other debugging tools, sometimes it gives up false positives and false negatives, however, this issue can be handled by manually focusing on the areas which it makes eventually easier to analyze. **Recommendations to others considering AWS X-Ray:** Its one of a kind tool, with really nice features all accessible over the cloud. A must try! **What problems is AWS X-Ray solving and how is that benefiting you?** This helps me in analyzing my application's architecture, and also in identifying the key issues which might be responsible for the underperformance of the overall application. So I think the thing that I dislike is the learning curve to be proficient at it. **What problems is AWS X-Ray solving and how is that benefiting you?** We mainly use it to help us find out why a request is failing or help us to isolate a production bug. We also started to use it to isolate slow running web services and increase the performance of our web services response times. ### 6. AWS X-Ray: distributed application performance management service **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Catleya Q. | Ingeniero de desarrollo de software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2018 **What do you like best about AWS X-Ray?** AWS X-Ray is a great service that allows the analysis and debugging of your applications through the AWS cloud, it is compatible with microservices and server-based applications which can be difficult to debug by common methods, as well as developer can create maps of your applications where the architecture of your applications is visible so that X-Ray then evaluates the codes generated by user requests and in this way find errors or performance problems, it also includes a development kit for software that captures the API metadata and includes additional drivers for MySQL and PostgreSQL. **What do you dislike about AWS X-Ray?** In spite of the changes that have been made to this service, it still presents errors that, although they are common, are tedious for the user. **Recommendations to others considering AWS X-Ray:** When implementing this service, you must follow the instructions to the letter to avoid errors that may arise due to a bad configuration, either in the console, in the API, etc. **What problems is AWS X-Ray solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a web developer, I usually use X-Ray to visualize my applications either during their development or production, making maps that allow me to observe their architecture, their dependencies tree and the best thing is that if my applications present problems I can debug them as well also send data without using programming interfaces. ### 8. The best part is its integration, the whole AWS software is excellent, complete solution to anything. The system works in cloud which is the most important reason why I use this. **What do you dislike about AWS X-Ray?** Sometimes analysis aren't very accurate as expected.
