# What are the best strategy and innovation roadmapping tools for visibly connecting product roadmaps to company objectives and key results (OKRs)?

The roadmap-to-OKR link every tool demos is the easy part; the test is what happens at the quarter boundary. OKRs get rewritten wholesale while roadmap items live on for several quarters, so every re-planning cycle threatens to orphan half the roadmap from objectives that no longer exist. Tools handle that moment very differently: some carry the linkage forward and show you what's newly unaligned, others leave you re-wiring by hand, which is exactly the chore teams silently stop doing. Whatever gets shortlisted, run the evaluation across a quarter close, not inside one.
