**What do you like best about Automat?**

With Automat we were able to turn a normally flat user experience into something more engaging to the end consumer and gathering data on how we can better serve our customers.

**What do you dislike about Automat?**

The time was long to get this up and running and lot of back and forth - but truthfully that comes with any new partnership and development.

**What problems is Automat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving for customers asking what types of products are best for them through customer service outreach when they can chat with the bot and get their answers they need almost immediately.

**What do you like best about Automat?**

Automat has been an excellent partner in building our brand's first Messenger Bot. Their deep industry experience specialized in beauty helped us jump several steps ahead and streamline the process. They were able to help shape our goals for the experience to be in line with an ideal beauty consumer user experience. 

Automat also was INCREDIBLY responsive at every hurdle we encountered. They went above and beyond building out connections to other vendor's tools and overhauling the messaging tree based on late game feedback.

**What do you dislike about Automat?**

Adapting the messaging in the decision trees was a manual process that was a bit hard to track. The documents are set up intuitively for the automat team, but not as easy to navigate for our team. They

- Schedule review rounds with your team - and leadership early and often! 
- Bring in ALL other vendors that need to integrate into the tool early and FULLY vet their capabilities and limitations to get a clear understanding about who will need to build what to support a healthy integration. 
- Work with a media plan 

**What problems is Automat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing our shopping, education and diagnostic tools for Bobbi Brown's foundation/complexion product offering to the consumer in a streamlined way - allowing her to choose how and what information she wants to access. We aim to have this serve as a more effective consideration phase ad unit and also help boost our first party data on customers skin concerns and natural language.

**What do you like best about Automat?**

Automat's key strength is in the power of their technology to allows us to scale conversational marketing/sales efforts.  They are really driving the conversational space with their breakthrough technology.

Second, their collaboration with us has been truly exceptional.  Always willing to partner closely, generate new ideas and super responsive with all of our needs.  

**What do you dislike about Automat?**

Automat used to be only messenger but now they have added new channels like web and conversational landing pages which mostly resolved our concerns.

**What problems is Automat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to find new ways to engage consumers, in the spaces they care about, and through the channels they prefer.  The amount of choice that is available in the market makes it difficult for consumers to find products that match their needs. We want to simplify the decision process for consumers and provide personalized recommendations for their skin needs and concerns.

To date we have shown high volume of engagement with conversational marketing as well as strong KPI's as it relates to time spent, conversion rate and average order value.

**What do you like best about Automat?**

Automat was a great partner to work with in developing a conversational marketing experience/chat bot for one of our clients, Covergirl, called the KalaniBot. Their expertise in natural language processing, conversational design as well as backend analytics allowed our team the ability to deliver a seamless launch for the brand and users alike. Additionally, Automat's conversational AI platform complimented our own feedback driven data insights to result in an engagement sentiment of 91% and a 51% click-through rate on coupons delivered to users. 

**What do you dislike about Automat?**

At the time, Automat struggled with simplifying their sophisticated technology and bespoke chatbot development process since they themselves had just launched their platform and services.  Given the project was first of its kind in the industry, many if not all of the issues we had in that first rollout were streamlined shortly thereafter as they built out their offering and tuned their operations.  

**What problems is Automat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the problems Automat assisted us with was the difficult task of tailoring a chatbot experience for users that was intuitive and delightful. At first, in trying to translate the character of the real life person we were using as inspiration for the bot, our team ran into issues of authenticity in the responses we put forth. Automat came to our rescue here and used their proprietary AI technology and novel conversational design to improve the responses. After multiple redesigns, we were able to combine our team's expertise in brand voice with Automat's technology to give users a fun and sticky product experience.

**What do you like best about Automat?**

It's always about the team and the Automat team is not only the best in the biz but they are a delight to work with. Collaborative, timely and always bringing fresh, new and industry leading ideas. Launching the world's first influencer chatbot for CoverGirl was a huge project and it went smoothly and has stood the test of time. 

**What do you dislike about Automat?**

That I don't have more projects to collaborate with them on. 

**What problems is Automat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a new way to innovate in the area of influencer marketing. We worked with Automat to create the worlds' first "Influencer Chat Bot" which really helped to create a better and more conversational way for brands (in this case CoverGirl) to converse with their consumers. It was very successful and continues to pay dividends today.

**What do you like best about Automat?**

Automat assembled a team of rock star for the conversationnal AI space. They bring a lot of real life experience using AI and speach analytics to deliver solutions that work and meet a real customer need.

**What do you dislike about Automat?**

While their focus on conversational marketing is very forward looking, they seem to be ahead of the market and customer behavior. In some context this is a great advantage, for our current need, this approach is less applicable. 

**What problems is Automat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use automat to deliver a simple way for our customers to make an appointement with the Bank. Customer logs into Facebook Messenger and can easily book an appointement for any services provided by the institution. Customer love it and when we couple this capability with Facebook Campains, we see great conversion.

**What do you like best about Automat?**

Automat is a strategic partner to us thanks to their industry expertise and ability integrate with our tech stack. They are adaptable, friendly and understand our 3-year vision for the chatbot we are developing now. I recommend them.

**What do you dislike about Automat?**

Automat did not provide the UX/UI design support we need to launch our chatbot. That said we have internal resources and did not expect Automat to help in that area of our project. The biggest drawback has been that Automat is still working on a product feed, which is important to us because we have a portfolio of 100+ products.

**Recommendations to others considering Automat:**

My advice is not specific to Automat. The more direction you have and the more you understand your needs, the better off you will be before deciding to partner with Automat or any other vendor. Our needs matched Automat's capabilities, so our partnership has been very positive so far.

**What problems is Automat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automat is helping us create a chatbot that will drive incremental sales through conversational commerce and streamline customer service.

**What do you like best about Automat?**

Our partnership with AUTOMAT has been successful. This shows not only on the positive KPIs and impact on our brands, but also from the laudable feedback coming from our employees who collaborate with AUTOMAT daily.
With AUTOMAT, we've been able to implement and launch an innovative service across multiple brands and countries. The AUTOMAT team is experienced, well-rounded and passionate not only about the tech but also about the people who make, implement and use it. 
The AUTOMAT team deftly handles matrix and complex structures of very large organisations, cultural nuances of a global project (which play a significant role in conversational marketing) and respects defined timelines.

**What do you dislike about Automat?**

I would love for AUTOMAT to take a more strategic and consulting stance, and proactively build mid- and long-term solutions that look beyond their current offering/expertise to build the most complete ecosystem of services and experiences our shoppers need. Take their offering to the ultimate next level!

**What problems is Automat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With AUTOMAT's solution, we are resolving consumer insights that have yet to be completely tapped into via other online or offline channels or technologies: the need to help shoppers navigate an increasingly complex cosmetic / skincare shelf. This is a deeply rooted challenge for shoppers, and bringing conversational marketing into the mix allows for an interactive, easy and fun experience that shoppers remember, come back to and talk about.

**What do you like best about Automat?**

Automat is our global vendor managing the launch of Chatbot for the international markets. I like the project management and timely response in terms of communication. 

**What do you dislike about Automat?**

The company is based in Canada. I had concern of the project management and support in terms of trouble shooting for technical issues as they are different time zone. However the project has been well managed. I hope the they can still do the good job in terms of maintenance or support for the marketing activation in the future.

We have only recently launched the Chatbots. We want to partner with Automat how to better leverage the chatbot to have business impact to our business.

The quick response of our project manager, Carah Campbell, and her eagerness to improve our Chatbot post launch.

There were breakdowns in communication, specifically regarding costs for certain updates.
