## About Authlete
Authlete solution provides essential security features for all APIs, as a software component. Service providers in all industries, from financial institutions such as banks and securities firms to media and e-commerce, can quickly and securely implement API access authorization (OAuth 2.0) and identity federation (OpenID Connect) capabilities by integrating Authlete into their services. Authlete is available as a SaaS offering, allowing its customers to always use the latest industry-standard API security specifications.

**What do you like best about Authlete?**

The Authlete team are experts at what they do and the platform works exaclty as described. The team is very approachable and is transparant and proactive, even when there are issues (eg. a service disruption, which almost never happens).

**What do you dislike about Authlete?**

The maturity of the supporting services (support ticketing system, management console) is lacking a little. It's all there and it works, but it's not always as easy to use as it could be and some of it is bare bones.

**What problems is Authlete solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used Authlete to build a fully customizable CIAM platform without having to implement the whole OAuth/OIDC specification. This allowed us to build and ship our platform very quickly, which in turn helped us support our business goals very effectively.
