Once you've got hold of the general idea about coding, you could pretty much navigate through the user interface. initially I was afraid that I would be overwhelmed by the different options, I was pleasantly proven to be wrong. What is really interesting to me that, I would get insights to me data within a couple of seconds with the Intentional AI coding. Well of course, the human touch is always need to adjust the codes and to remove items which are not relevant to the study. After typing this stuffs, I wondered, where did that confidence to navigate Atlas Ti come from? And then I recalled the numerous free online classes conducted by Roehl Sybing. Those online classes have definitely prepared me well in purchasing a licence! I have chatted online with the friendly support agents and similarly, I was impressed and grateful. They have provided me with step-by-step guidance and additional information on Atlas Ti's Web. what can I ask for? **What do you dislike about ATLAS.ti?** I dont know, myabe my screen is a lttle too small? some of the text were not fully displayed. other than that, i still have much to explore. **What problems is ATLAS.ti solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time. Likewise, it allowed me to code the photographs (images) and documents that were aligned with the research objectives in order to carry out triangulation between the interviews of the research subjects, corroboration through the observation guide and documentary analysis. Another exceptional option is the network option, which allows you to design the analysis visually. In my dissertation I used these schemes a lot to explain my findings, the teachers who analyzed the work really enjoyed seeing this process. I'm in the testing phase of AI in the software, and I've seen some very good results, even in the beta version. This software is the future for every researcher who wants to deepen his analysis. **What do you dislike about ATLAS.ti?** The only thing I don't like about ATLAS today, and I still don't see it as a problem, is not being able to edit the word cloud with fonts, colors and free layout. Until today I didn't need to look for another software for my research needs. However, the previous versions are still functional. The software is easy to use, very reliable, does not crash, and its implementation on macOS is fantastic. Working with an extensive library of PDF files is a breeze, as the software takes advantage of the mac's native integration with PDF view. **What do you dislike about ATLAS.ti?** ATLAS.ti libraries can be shared among different devices, whether PCs or macs. However, the user can not work in sync between devices. The user has to finish the work, export the library, import it to the new device, and then work. I've trained to use other competitive tools but ATLAS.ti stands out for several reasons: it costs less for a student license; the control is totally in the researcher's hand; the tool interface is intuitive; the developers regularly update the software to respond to glitches and the visualisation keeps getting better with the 23 version. I have used it to analyse literature (even if it is merely to read; ATLAS.ti's advantage of annotating and retrieving codes is helpful), news article clips (over 300 for my PhD), interview transcripts and Facebook comments (over 3000). **What do you dislike about ATLAS.ti?** The almost yearly upgrade of the software into a newer version appears to be chasing the market rather than demand. It doesn't feel alright that previous license owners are required to buy newer versions rather than simply upgrading their licenses. I had this issue when v9 was upgraded to 22. A well-coded data is a gold mine that throws some ground-breaking and powerful interpretation and construction of meaning and perspectives to the research phenomena. Coding is an iterative process, often they get written, rewritten and refined as more and more transcripts get read for coding. As you start coding in ATLAS.ti, the codes get saved, the list of already existing codes show up every time you code a new piece of data segment. This saves a lot of time as you would have otherwise spent going back and forth previous transcripts, looking up the codes you had already given while coding manually.
