Podcastle is my goto for recording my podcast with my remote co-host. Podcastle's ease of use in the recording studio is extremely useful for my co-host who isn't technically savvy. Only needing a link to join the recording studio and quickly be off and running with recording is great! I wish the preview of my camera in the recording studio wasn't automatically mirrored. Also, as a creator with a backlog of podcasts that used to be hosted on other platforms, it would be nice to set a previous publish date on my older content instead of defaulting to the time it's published into Podcastle. The editor is sometimes a bit buggy and we have had some irregularities during recordings where audio of the 1 person disappears, but that was the exception and not the rule. Editing is very easy and intuitive. I like how sound effects and music are built into the editor. Also a huge fan of the transcription and AI features that allow you to clean up the audio. The most important thing to me when looking for a podcast platform was it had to be easy to use. It took very little time to learn how to create a new show and start building episodes. Cost was also a factor, and I love that even with the free version I get the basic tools I need. There are two things I've been frustrated by (although as of yet they haven't been deal breakers). The first is that I haven't been able to figure out how to do any editing of my episodes from the mobile app (only the desktop version. The second is that when I go to schedule+publish an episode I end up having to enter all of the episode information twice. There could be a simple solution to both, I just haven't found it.
