The asset bank is easy to use and help find content, using keywords in the search bar.

**What do you dislike about Asset Bank?**

I find that sometimes the content on the asset bank is very low quality and that makes it harder on me to use and share with colleagues.

**What problems is Asset Bank solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working for the De'Longhi Group, I need to make sure that all current assets of products (that South Africa imports) are readily available to my colleagues  and at the correct dpi resolution. Currently 95% of the time I find what I'm looking for and can then download and resize as we need.

**What do you like best about Asset Bank?**

If you have a large bank of photos to use assetbank is a must have! From sorting via folders, to creating shareable lightboxes and now the 'find similar' feature. Assetbank makes storing and making the most of thousands of digital assets a breeze.

**What do you like best about Asset Bank?**

Being able to specify usage terms when uploading assets. It's impossible to have oversight over everyone who is downloading assets, so having this info clear and obviously stated is the next best thing to ensure that things are being used correctly. 

I also really like the Lightbox feature, that makes life easier.

**What do you dislike about Asset Bank?**

The UX is clunky and more difficult than it needs to be. For example, the process of uploading was quite confusing to learn when I joined the team. It's something I've learned over time, but I feel that it could all be a bit more intuitive.

Other things are that I think that there should be a reverse image search function, as tags aren't always useful. I also think that it should automatically assign a cover image to albums (which can be changed later), either that or it could have picking a cover image as part of the upload process.

**What problems is Asset Bank solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm not aware of how we handled things before using Asset Bank, but it's very helpful to not need to assign human resource to seek out and provide assets to people across the organisation. Once people know their way around, they are able to navigate the system to find what they need. Saves us on the Creative team lots of time and energy, as there's one less thing for us to oversee.

**What do you like best about Asset Bank?**

We did manage to get an account manager who we could have calls with and email with any questions to get set up. Lots of storage and you can view assets clearly, even video, without having to click into each one which is great when you have bandwidth challenges the log ins and SSO that has been set up for our organisation work really well

**What do you dislike about Asset Bank?**

Not that intuitive to use as an admin and can be a bit unclear on how to manage access to folders for certain groups of users. You cannot search using an image on the version we have to see if it already exists in your asset bank. The folder management and keyword/tags for each image are not automatically set up and rely on users/uploaders initiative. Would be a good feature for AI functionality to support in this.

**What do you like best about Asset Bank?**

Assetbank allows me as an image maker and film maker to catalog and locate all of my material in one location.  It allows me to create portfolios for quick search and itemization daily and on the road for different segments of a Fortune 500 business.  I have also developed with AssetBank an approval process for our in-house safety teams to be able to review images before they go live to our other teams for any uses.  No other DAM software or library system can do that for me.  It also allows very specific search criteria and ability for creating light boxes for grouped images which can be shared in various sizes with internal and external users or clients.  I could not imagine any other way to effectively manage our imaging assets when each year we add an additional 12-15,000 assets.  I’ve been sold for the last 15 years.

**What do you dislike about Asset Bank?**

The client management for US clients can be disconnected because of the UK home base, their time zones, and limited days available on calendars.  It would be super of they had a small US based team for US clients.  It would be good to know costs for storage upgrades with an easy to find location for company budgeting.  The tech team seems to continually be pushing out updates so I hope they will continue to be responsive to updates.

**What problems is Asset Bank solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AssetBank’s biggest benefit to us is all brand and professional images are in one location that is easy to group and search.  Because it’s a visual display, users can quickly link the thumbnails in categories to narrow down what they need.  They aren’t just looking at folder names on a drive somewhere.  Sorting by almost any category is also huge.  Projects in certain locations or business segments - check,  Projects by use type - check.  Etc..

**What do you like best about Asset Bank?**

Could not fault the standard of person to person customer care with our Customer Support Lead, Angela. Queries have been dealt with in a friendly manner and online calls organised every few months which has been helpful. Our company is currently going through a re-organisation of folders in order to be able to find assets more efficiently and Angela has really helped us on our journey, ensuring we are made aware of continuous improvements that may aid our on-going project.

With continuous improvements and new features we are discovering, it has been a learning curve to say the least! Since beginning my role in the company getting my head around the software was challenging at first however Angela has been on hand to support with this onboarding and I now feel a lot more comfortable using the system and its features to their full advantage.

**What problems is Asset Bank solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helpful having all images in a centralised place for individuals across the business to access as and when they need. Being able to set permissions prevents one person needing to allocate images which saves us a lot of time as a large organisation. We have found the search function works well, as long as you have a well structured keyword system in place, preventing confusion.

**What do you like best about Asset Bank?**

Asset Bank is fantastic for organising all of your imagery, logos and video assets. We've been able to house all of our clients assets in easy to manage folders and the unique ID number has taken out an unnecessary back and forth on which image to use on websites or digital campaigns. I also really like the lightbox feature, this is a handy element to be able to share images with external parties.

**What do you dislike about Asset Bank?**

It's a bit annoying that our client users can't manage / create / delete folders so they have to get us to do it for them.

**What problems is Asset Bank solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease of being able to communicate with clients about which images they want to use on a website or within a digital campaign is so useful and saves so much time. Our clients either reference the unique ID numbers or use the lightbox feature to ensure that we use the exact image they want. It's also a great tool for seeing all assets for all clients in one place.

Initial set-up is definitely difficult to understand, especially if you are new to the company. It takes a bit of training to onboard an individual to be comfortable to use the system.

Highly adaptable and customizable. Responsive and efficient support team. Easily handles complex structures.

Not a deal-breaker, but the multi-language functionality has room for improvement — currently, only English attribute values can be exported via the API, even though multiple languages can be managed within AssetBank.

**What do you like best about Asset Bank?**

Asset Bank has been an integral part of visual asset management for our global creative teams. Being able to customize it to our needs has been immensely helpful.

Improvements to Reporting would be beneficial. In the past I have wanted to pull reports for specific metadata and it was not easy to generate those numbers.

**What do you like best about Asset Bank?**

Our team recently transitioned across to the new cloud based version of Asset Bank and I've been really impressed with how smooth the process went. The team at Asset Bank have been extremely helpful and made suggestions and recommendations based on how we would be using the system and spent time understanding our needs. They have checked in regularly and been proactive and even suggested ways of promoting it internally to our staff to increase staff uptake. Uploading content and maintaining the system is easy, which is great for our small team. The other admins have found it easy to use and intuitive. Any issues we have had have been dealt with very quickly when we have raised a ticket, all in all I'm very happy with the platform, its interface, the way it can be customized and set up to suit our needs and how easy it is to maintain.

**What do you dislike about Asset Bank?**

The AI functionality is not perfect, so we do find that we have to go through and check the auto tagging functionality, but generally it picks up on 50% useful things and 50% slightly wrong or inaccurate, but I know that is new tech that is still being improved and developed.

**What problems is Asset Bank solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Central storage area for photos and other assets, with insight and data on when they are being used. Tagging and recording information about when, where, and who are in our images. Using Lightboxes to share selected assets with external users.

**What do you like best about Asset Bank?**

Assetbank can house all your images and make it really easy for all colleagues across your business to access your images in a centralised place. It means you don't need any one person allocating images to colleagues. The search function works well, as long as you have a well structured keyword system in place. The storage is robust and all images are kept behind a secure password protected system, to ensure GDPR compliance.

**What do you dislike about Asset Bank?**

The images always had watermarks on when reviewing them on screen. This meant you couldn't always see the images clearly. However, we are now updating our system, so we can hopefully get this removed.

**What problems is Asset Bank solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It means we don't have to have someone choosing and allocating images to different members of staff. This makes project workflow much more efficient.

**What do you like best about Asset Bank?**

Hands down the best level of person to person support for any service I've encountered. Our dedicated contact is very responsive and just the other side of an email. They're very accommodating and have really helped us on our journey. Our contact has a real depth of knowledge and is as much a consultant as a support contact.

**What do you dislike about Asset Bank?**

Compared to some products out there it doesn't look quite as slick, but actually it's got everything you'd expect and more as regards features.

It helps us manage an easily searchable digital asset library, comply with GDPR, record copyright and licensing and also allows end users to download appropriate resolutions, croppings and file types which saves on other software licenses and training.

**What do you like best about Asset Bank?**

Asset Bank is a fantastic DAM. We use it for our Print PDF files and it can search for strings of text and then add them to a custom lightbox. Multiple examples of time-saving features that not only help search for PDFs but also let the customers think you have a Magic Wand. Answering queries within minutes. We also use it to send out reminders when the document review date expires and automated emails get sent directly to the customer.

To be very honest there is really nothing that Asset Bank can't do. So nothing to dislike.

They are constantly updating the Application in order to move with the times. Adding new features regularly.

Our Customer Support lead, Angela, is absolutely fantastic! She provides regular attention to our account and has taken initiative to ensure there are continuous improvements. Asset Bank as a software is very versatile and used on a daily basis by our company.

Like any software, there is a learning curve to Asset Bank. However, this does mean that I am continuously discovering new things that the software can accomplish or efficiencies that are available.

The best part of Asset Bank for us is being able to easily integrate a new Client's assets into our instance. We can separate assets by Client and furthermore provide additional categorization specific to that client.

Sharing with internal and external stakeholders is super easy and I can access our files from any computer.
Whenever we've had issues (which has been rare) we always get fast support.

I like how intuitive and user friendly it is. The online help and resource centre for admin users has a wealth of knowledge and guidance and support requests are always answered extremely fast and with patience and grace.

The reporting function could be so much better. I find this function quite limited in terms of filter criteria for reports. I think the search engine on the help and resource centre could be improved. Sometimes I have to scroll through quite a few articles to find what I am looking for.

It does a great job at providing an easy to use central resource and slowly but surely, it is encouraging people to use this central repository to share great assets the whole university can benefit from, instead of clogging up local drives and creating duplication of work.

It is important to understand how your Asset Bank might expand in the future when setting up your permission levels. You need to maintain good practices at all times to stay on top of your settings.

Years before the Cloud solutions emerged, we stored all marketing assets in the Assetbank, making convenient access and sharing to the rest of our company and third parties with the necessary access rights and permissions. Thanks to the workflows, the system is integrated into the lifecycle of the asset's production and distribution. Recently Asset bank was integrated with our PIM, and thanks to the embedded Asset Transformation tool, we automated and speed-up the website content entry.

Their customer service. I've had a few instances where I've needed to contact them to question potential bugs in the system. Not only have they recognized these bugs, they've fixed them within days on each occasion, which is very impressive.

When I first took over as an admin, not everything on the system was intuitive. However, they do have a lot of training resources, and if you're still looking for help, their customer service is first rate!

Asset Bank can do everything a DAM must be able to do. It is very intuitive, flexible and customisable. It offers a lot of helpful options, especially at the attribute level and when linking assets to each other. The onboarding and transfer of our assets from the previous media database to Asset Bank has worked very well. The customer service and support are excellent.

At the moment, there is nothing we dislike about Asset Bank.

We have about 60,000 assets that need to be found quickly and easily. Asset Bank allows our organisation to have external people (e.g. photographers) upload their assets to Asset Bank without logging in. In doing so, embedded metadata can also be automatically transferred into the attribute fields defined for this purpose, which saves a lot of effort. The approval process and the different user types support the processes within our various organisational units. In addition, Asset Bank is very accessible for people with disabilities.

**What do you like best about Asset Bank?**

The all-over reasoned solution. It is an easy to understand management tool with an integrative user interface. Managing assets on a business level is pretty easy and a roles and permissions system gives full control on assets visibility. And, important: stability and reliability. Very few incidents!

**What do you dislike about Asset Bank?**

The process following the upload queue is a bit slow sometimes. There could be some more report options and more detailed and different tracking of assets.

If you need a good, easy to use and reliable asset management solution, you are right at Asset Bank.

Few problems have to be sorted. We benefit strongly from the excellent availability of our press images and relevant marketing assets. Easy exchange of assets with external partners is increasing our velocity.

**What do you like best about Asset Bank?**

We've been working with AssetBank for around 18 months, where they have supported us to get our database of 60,000 Signs, Symbol and Video Assets uploaded, catalogued and established within an easily searchable and accessible format. Through their Open API system, and working with our digital partners to link the AssetBank Digital Asset Management system to our IMIS (ASI) Membership system, enabling over 30,000 users to access the database 24/7. The Onboarding, Customer Service and support has and continues to be outstanding.

**What do you dislike about Asset Bank?**

The only downside we have found is the reporting within Assetbank, which can be a little clunky, but overall we still believe it's the best system for our needs, and I know further integrations and reporting is planned.

I would strongly suggest having a look at the Assetbank system, its well worth the time invested.

We have a Membership base of 50,000 People and we wish to give all our members 24/7 access to our database of over 60,000 Assets made up of Signs, Symbols, Video and wider resources. This needs to be across a range of platforms from PC, Tablets and Telephone devices. The web-based system operates well across the range of formats used by our Userbase, providing a simple and easy format for accessing the database.

The Assetbank interface makes uploads and downloads so easy to use. We had a specific amount of requirements and Assetbank met each criteria easily. The thumbnail preview are larger than normal so make browsing a much better experience

- Asset Bank software allows us to customise the system based on our very specific need
- The software allows very deep and granular admin settings for each user group, user account, folders/categories of assets, individual attributes, which means we can customise the permissions in a very very detailed manner - enabling us to give very specific viewing/editing rights to different groups of users based on different categories of assets and even based on the tagging of the assets
- Good customer support that rectifies all the software bugs 
- Considers our feedback for improvements/enhancements

- More advanced features are available to users who host their Asset Bank software on Asset Bank cloud, so it means that users who wish to remain on their local premise (e.g. leave their software installed on their local server) will not be able to benefit from these advanced features
- The admin settings can be very detailed, so it may be tiring on the eyes of the admin users if they are making major changes

We are able to share assets to different users in our organisation, and limit their access to certain assets based whether they require access or not. It helps our users speed up searching for photos and videos for their workflow.

Having a web-based DAM system hosted by Asset Bank themselves takes a lot of the strain out of maintaining this kind of resource. The option to create lightboxes and send collections to colleagues - even non-users - is a big plus. Asset Bank has a lot of useful functionality that we haven't had the time to explore yet.

**What do you dislike about Asset Bank?**

If your institution has a single sign-on process for logging into systems, Asset Bank struggles a little with this. The user account request process can get bypassed and new users end up automatically being given an account without moderation.

An extra module in our package enables us to store consent forms and 'link' them to the set of images concerned. Very useful to keep track of permissions.

**What do you like best about Asset Bank?**

This platform is the perfect combination of function and form. It's beautiful and very easy to navigate through. There are ways to customize everything on the backend so it does get technical, but it's not overwhelming to understand. The pricing structure is very affordable, too, if you're searching for something beyond a basic DAM that works really hard.

The initial process of thinking about how we work so that we could configure AssetBank perfectly to our process took awhile, so only because I am impatient, that was a small burden. But you really have to put that upfront work into it, or anything really, to be successful.

We were trying to organize our photography assets. We're a small in-house group that produces over 200 shoots a year. Trying to curate the right assets for various web and print projects was taking hours! Our team needed to be more efficient. AssetBank also provides advanced downloading capabilities so that users can download and crop images to preset sizes.
