It started with the use case of the chatbot talking to the DB, but since I am not a techie I rely on the chatbot almost daily to manage the DB, make changes , upgrades, data manipulation. I tried several other services but came back to them as they clearly matured the offering. Also, super quick to reply and quite flexible and collaborative. I honestly enjoy a personalized customer service than working with a large faceless corporate, hope they grow but somehow stay personal. There is nothing much to setup the whole thing really, just the supabase creds and you are in. **What do you dislike about AskYourDatabase?** They really could make use of a graphic designer to sharpen up the look and feel. Not sure if its intentional, but you can tell this is a company of technical folks. That was also clear in getting the integration done, I felt you had to be a techie to make it work, so a I don't know maybe more detailed instructions for different levels of knowledge can help. **What problems is AskYourDatabase solving and how is that benefiting you?** Like I said, basically getting a DB Admin if you don't have the tech background nor the funds to hire one. ### 2. Just connect the database, provide context of the database schema and start querying in natural language. Ask simple questions and it will start generating the SQL query, run it, analyse the results and showcase in simple manner. It has reduced a lot of time for me. **What do you dislike about AskYourDatabase?** It works well on Claude only. Other LLM models are not accurate. Also, privacy is also a major concern. Desktop version is not scalable in a large team and web based version has no private hosting options! **What problems is AskYourDatabase solving and how is that benefiting you?** We need reports from our in-house softwares and databases. Generally we require a tech person who provides us data and then we do make our reports or do analysis. It is time consuming plus less experimental due to dependancies. Once we started using AskYourDatabase, it completely changed. I can ask the chatbot anything, it understands my natural language, generates queries, run the queries and even ansers me in analysable way. Now i don't need tech person or even reduced a lot of time in excels making, graph or mathamatic calculations. Just ask something and get the analysable results. Once that is done, you can also control the tables in your database that the chatbot uses for training and answering. With good documentation i.e instructions for the chatbot you can customize it to your own data and iron out any small errors it makes. All of the documentation is in natural language which I found the best. You can also provide SQL examples which gives a clear view to the chatbot about how to answer certain questions. The customer support is really helpful and prompt with their replies. My company has been using AskYourDatabse to provide a chatbot to our customers based on the data that we have had since ages. Their response has been really positive. The accuracy of the bot has been increasing with time and the number of queries! **What do you dislike about AskYourDatabase?** One thing AskYourDatabse could slightly improve is their UI when embedding the chatbot and their dashboard. Then I found AYD and in a matter of a minute ai was accessing and retrieving data from Supabase and understanding and learning context. I had to tell it do not execute without showing me the sql first. Till i didi that i wiped out a table. **What problems is AskYourDatabase solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can explain what i am tryting to get from the databse and it figurres out how. As an example I have two tables for my bar customers pne for sales of beer, one for pours of beer. When the club changes a beer line to another type like if they run out, we need to know or the wrong product shows as sold. So I told AYD how that all works and to look for sales that sundenly increased for a product and at the same time another product started getting less pours. with a myriad of other inffo like it takes 5 mins to change a line so dont include any that have had flows in the last 5 mins etc. ### 9.
