It started with the use case of the chatbot talking to the DB, but since I am not a techie I rely on the chatbot almost daily to manage the DB, make changes, upgrades, data manipulation. IT was very easy to start using. Just connect the database, provide context of the database schema and start querying in natural language. It is extremely easy to connect your database to AskYourDatabase. Once that is done, you can also control the tables in your database that the chatbot uses for training and answering. With good documentation i.e instructions for the chatbot you can customize it to your own data and iron out any small errors it makes. All of the documentation is in natural language which I found the best. You can also provide SQL examples which gives a clear view to the chatbot about how to answer certain questions.
