Articulate makes my work life easier by offering a product that is easy to use as an authoring tool, easy to share when gathering client and/or SME feedback, and easy to edit once that feedback has been received. I use it daily, and do not want to imagine designing without the tools that it offers.
The addition of AI technology speeds up the design process by helping me to build a training framework that I can quickly work to customize and build content out from. The addition of AI text to speech has saved me countless hours that were previously dedicated solely to the capturing and editing of audio content. If I am in a pinch for an image that fits a specific scenario, the AI image generation is a great tool that also results in time savings, and the feeling of a customized product.
Articulate 360 also facilitates a robust e-Learning community, comprised of fellow users that share their expertise, and are always willing to offer assistance when my project behaves in a manner that is not consistent with my expectations, or when I am looking for design inspiration. Their own support team is also top notch, helping troubleshot any technical glitches that may be encountered, and then improving the overall product based on the feedback that is received during these interactions. Articulate can be a bit glitchy - meaning that the application can freeze up unexpectedly during the design phase. On a positive note, a pop-up box frequently occurs that allows me to enter in exactly what I was doing when the error was encountered. Sometimes the issue will resolve itself, while the application is forced closed during others. The application does have a feature that auto-saves the design progress at certain intervals, which helps reduce the amount of design that must be re-entered.
