Once trained, they can use the tool without support from Procurement. The Arkestro team is also very supportive whenever we have a question or a request **What do you dislike about Arkestro?** Arkestro works very well for a lot of spend categories; however, in some areas, such as Marketing services, we haven't yet been able to demonstrate the value of the tool. **What problems is Arkestro solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem Arkestro is solving is that we don't have the workforce to do RFPs for all our categories, especially those with many small transactions. Arkestro solves this by empowering buyers to conduct their RFPs without involving the Strategic Sourcing team. ### 2. Fast updates and plenty of options. **What do you dislike about Arkestro?** Bid Ops was not a perfect fit at first with the way we do things, and it took some getting used to from our suppliers. However, the team at Bid Ops is super responsive to our needs and has been highly supportive to our suppliers. It didn't take long for them to make the necessary adjustments to fit our needs. **What problems is Arkestro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Adjusting our procerement stratgegies to deal with market volatility. The versatility of the Bid Ops platform helped up tremendously. ### 5. In our experience using the tool, it led to significant cost savings over traditional methods by making it easier to engage in a competitive auction. **What do you dislike about Arkestro?** There weren't any notable downsides to Bid Ops, but it does require organizational buy-in. **What problems is Arkestro solving and how is that benefiting you?** We aimed to simplify the procurement of raw materials and were able to reduce our costs and save time. ### 7. It works exceptionally well on new items where you don't have a pricing history. **What do you dislike about Arkestro?** Since it is a newer product, there are a few interface features that can be improved, but they are minor. The good news is the development team responds instantly and makes the changes very fast. **What problems is Arkestro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Taking our bids from emails to the web has helped to speed up our process of communication with multiple suppliers and reviewing the results within hours, not days and weeks. ### 8. Bidops are working on this feature and plan to roll it out soon. **What problems is Arkestro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Bidops is helping us to harmonize suppliers in our new combined company.
