Ardent emphasizes on the principle of data minimization. Unlike other privacy tools, Ardent starts by reducing the amount of data exposed to potential threats. This makes me feel secure because I know that there is less information at risk for a security breach. Additionally, it helps to ensure adherence to CCPA and GDPR rules. The only thing that bothers me about Ardent is that it doesn’t have any kind of folders or categorizations used in organizing the data. Currently, everything just gets put into a single file which can make finding particular information quickly difficult especially as my number of data increases.
