What I like most about ArcGIS is the accuracy and reliability of its drone data processing. It consistently produces high-quality 2D and 3D outputs, which are essential for my professional estate management use cases, such as building construction inspections and modelling. Another standout is its seamless integration with the wider ArcGIS ecosystem, which makes it easy to combine drone-derived data with existing GIS layers and supports better decision-making across teams. Finally, ArcGIS’s enterprise-grade security and scalability are a major plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the biggest issues for me is stability. ArcGIS can occasionally crash, especially when I’m working with large datasets or more complex drone projects, and that disruption breaks my workflow. The update and installation process is also frustrating in an enterprise environment. Updates often require administrator privileges, which makes things cumbersome in large organisations where we rely on central IT teams to handle installations and keep the software up to date. Another major drawback is the poor integration with Microsoft OneDrive, which adds extra friction when trying to manage or share files through that platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
