I beleive they are working towards a license option for private individuals but have to wait and check for it. **Recommendations to others considering ArcGIS Navigator:** ArcGIS Navigator is an application that can handle all kinds of GIS Data. There are also lots of forums, posts and addition resources to help you along the way so you will not get lost. When exporting or handling data the software prefers to keep things proprietary. This means being forced to their organizational systems if you want to share and examine data efficiently. This also means you are at the mercy of the company and trust in their ability to roll out updates in a timely manner. **What problems is ArcGIS Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our field crews as a medical tourism company can not function without it. Our utility assets with all of their attributes are on our digital maps. On it we document attributes, conditions over time, maintenance schedules and even hyperlink photos and video inspections to each asset. Shapefile manipulation is time consuming with micro-management. Missing some of the flash of more advanced directional navigation, but shines with data creation tools. Turn by turn navigation integrated with the data generation and creation tools would be a logical progression of the platform. **What do you dislike about ArcGIS Navigator?** Basic navigation functions users expect from larger platforms is missing. It is difficult to create such a data generation platform on mobile devices, however there are not many mainstream tools in this space, so this app does fill a gap in user need. **What problems is ArcGIS Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?** Combines field data creation with smooth function and data syncing.
