**What do you like best about Talos Perform?**

I really appreciate how easy it is to navigate the admin function in Appraisd. It helps me significantly enhance support for our customers. The platform also provides excellent notifications, reminding me of ongoing reviews. Additionally, it’s great for tracking and logging completed work, uploads, and actions, which helps in meeting targets. Appraisd makes it easy to keep a clear overview of development progress as well.

**What do you dislike about Talos Perform?**

There is nothing that I disklike about Appraisd.

**What problems is Talos Perform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Appraisd has been a valuable tool in identifying areas where staff may need additional support to meet set objectives. In my HR role, it helps me support managers with pinpointing employees who may be at risk of not meeting their probation or bonus targets. This visibility allows me to provide timely encouragement and support to ensure they stay on track. By the end of an Appraisd review, both staff and management have a clear understanding of expectations, which helps drive performance and accountability.

**What do you like best about Talos Perform?**

The stand out thing for Appraisd is the customer service. It is all about trust. You feel immediately that you can trust the customer service managers and they will help you in any way shape or form as quickly as possible. I have not been using the system long, and I don't need to because it is so simple but effective. This is great because it makes it easier to implement if I were to do so.

**What do you dislike about Talos Perform?**

The only thing I would say is that it just helps one area of HR. Don't get me wrong, it is the most important area of HR, talent management has a huge nock on effect with everything we do in HR. However, if they were to implement an area for annual leave sign off and submission or HR policy documents sign off, it would be incredibly successful.

**What problems is Talos Perform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It breaks down each part of the review and really makes you focus on and think about each area. It also forces you to be quite honest which is brilliant as open and honest feedback is the only way you will grow. The fact you can also use peer to peer recognition and feedback is a really important point as this can really motivate people and keep them with us.

Fantastic onboarding experience with Ros who onboarded us quickly. Super responsive and happy to help with any queries or issues encountered. Easy to navigate and update. Much more user friendly for our teams.

Not quite using it yet but about to Go Live soon. I like that our performance management process will all be in one central location. Hopefully making the continuous discussion around performance mangement a more enjoyable experience.
AND most importantly the time it will save on HR administration!!

Honestly don't know..... yet! Have not gone live yet.

a structured approach to performance management and the bringing together of our Mission, Values and Behaviours. My organisation has not previously used a structured approach to development goals so let alone all colleagues but especially in HR it will make our lives easier with an L&D development plan.

I would say from using Appraisd over the last 2 years the best thing is how user friendly the system is, the reporting function is also great for businesses to give an oversight of the wider picture and they have recently introduced an intergration with many HRIS systems making sure there is less manual processes in place.

At the moment there is not anything which I dislike about the platform.

**What do you like best about Talos Perform?**

The paper-based appraisal, check-in, feedback, probation and review process can be forgotten about, Appraisd does away with all of that and allows for an easy-to-use system. We introduced Appraisd to the team a year ago and have utilized and refined the process to ensure that wellbeing check-ins and quarterly reviews are completed and done on time. The reviews also provide us with enough information to relay to the leadership team from the reports that can be run on a monthly basis.
Roaslind our account manager has been excellent at helping me understand the system and is always there to suggest changes or support my queries quickly as and when they arise.

**What do you dislike about Talos Perform?**

Nothing major - the system is user-friendly but user error often means that I have one or two queries for Rosalind to answer. She is always patient and informative and helps me with any problems that I may be experiencing.

**What problems is Talos Perform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving quarterly reviews meaning that goals are discussed on a regular basis between the lead and their line report. The monthly well-being check-ins also ensure that we can ensure that our team are happy whilst remote working.

**What do you like best about Talos Perform?**

I like most the fact that as our company grows, we can do so with the support of the Apprais'd team who genuinely want to hear our feedback and will work to make changes that benefit us as clients. Examples include the new recognition feature and changes with matrix manager processes. The flexibility of the forms is also very simple to administer and again the team are quick to respond with any help we need.

**What do you dislike about Talos Perform?**

They have in the past changed the overall homepage/tab layout, and with the bright colours they use it has at times looked a little messy. Where this has been the case though we have given feedback and overall, the system and layout is very intuitive for users.

We are looking to create a more regular feedback culture and the new recognition feature within the system should help us do that.

**What do you like best about Talos Perform?**

Our customer success manager Rosalind and the development team have been fantastic right from the beginning. They have helped us customize the system to our needs and found the best solution for nearly anything we’ve wanted to do. The system is user-friendly, everything is in one place, and very easy to find. The single sign-on solution is great and much appreciated by the staff. HR Team has much greater visibility of reviews and who is completing them. That is a huge time saver!

We still need to work on a better solution, how to calculate our bonus and be able to pull this from the system, but I am sure we can manage this with the team!

**What do you like best about Talos Perform?**

I enjoy using Appraisd because it's easy to navigate to the areas we've chosen to focus on as a company. The colours are pleasing and there is so much that is customisable as well. I like that whilst the Appraisd support team is fab, I am able to amend a lot of features by myself and try them out first before rolling them out to the team. I love that as an Admin, I can 'view' a profile of someone in my team first to make sure that the appraisal is set up as I expected and that I can easily provide support to my company at that level first.

**What do you dislike about Talos Perform?**

Occasionally the wrong button has been selected when submitting an appraisal as the language wasn't particularly clear however, it's always quick to rectify and Appraisd have acted on feedback to make this clearer.

**What problems is Talos Perform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted  a simple but effective appraisal tool where we can log on, set up and complete appraisals and log back out. Appraisd, whilst offering a variety of fantastic tools, has given us this ability to focus on what is important to our company.

**What do you like best about Talos Perform?**

Appraisd has allowed our company to save time on administrative work and really focus on performance management as it should be. We love how Appraisd can be very personalized to fit our company's needs, how easy it is to navigate and how hands on the Appraisd support team is.

**What do you dislike about Talos Perform?**

Appraisd is an expensive product, but our company sees it as an investment in its people. Other than that, we are still seeing how our employees are adapting to this new system, but so far so good.

**What problems is Talos Perform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Appraisd, our performance management system was fully manual and was very time invasive and taxing for our HR team. There was also no real way of overseeing the progress of performance evaluations. With Appraisd, we are solving the gaps in our evaluation process by seeing the metrics of engagement, monitoring and documenting KPIs and we also get to save wasted energy by cutting out a bulk of administrative work.

Appraisd is easy to navigate both as a regular user and also as an administrator. We like that it has the ability to add company logos and colors. We also like that it allows users to give informal feedback that is collected and can be used as a part of the annual review process.

At first, some of the notifications forms were not customizable, but now they are.

Appraisd is easy to use, does exactly what I need it to do (and crucially for me, doesn't try and get me to use lots of other features that I don't need, or have covered elsewhere). Their customer service is also brilliant - we have a dedicated account lead who I can speak to or email with any problems or requests and who knows our company.

Very little tbh - it's splitting hairs, but sometimes the route into certain admin pages can be slightly cryptic, I think mainly because I don't visit them very often.

Ease of Setup - aided by the great team at Appraisd.  Roly helped me sell this system to the Board - nothing was too much trouble for them.

Nothing to dislike - a really user-friendly system.

The lack of high-quality Appraisal, Talent Management and Succession Planning within an FCA Regulated business.  The system as implemented made this so simple and allowed high quality reporting.  Managers become responsible for the succession planning for their teams - it was excellent.

Right from the beginning they really listened to our needs and tailored the approach to what we needed. The system is so versatile you can design your own processes/forms with the assistance of highly skilled and knowledgeable staff. Rather than you working within system limitations.. The system works with your needs.

I have suggested that they may want to consider placing voice software for reviews  into the platform so the system can be even more accessible.

Engagement with objective setting and PDR process.
Employees actively engaging more with own development journey.
Having regular catch ups - higher uptake.
One place where all objectives/121's/learning needs are recorded by the manager and employee.

**What do you like best about Talos Perform?**

I find Appraisd to be really easy to use, both as a user and as an admin. I like that I am able to customise everything I need to from appraisal forms, to feedback forms and even the colour scheme. There have been very few problems I haven't been able to solve on my own and for everything else the support team were incredibly responsive.

**What do you dislike about Talos Perform?**

There are one or two things that could be better, like some of the button placements (feedback request) and the inability to link feedback to an appraisal if its submitted separately. But these are comparatively minor.

**What problems is Talos Perform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our last year we have seen an 80% increase in the amount of appraisal conversations happening which has been huge.

**What do you like best about Talos Perform?**

Enables both Manager and employees to continually track their objectives PDPs etc. It's user friendly and engaging for all staff, our Team Leader has quoted it as the best, most engaging systems that he has used in his 10 years of leadership. 

Enables our employees to drive their training and progression into the Company by allowing them to update their objectives, create check ins with their Managers, etc. All employees objectives can also link back to our companies overall objectives, Directors were very impressed with this.

All employees are able to give instant feedback to other colleagues, brilliant for team work.

**What do you dislike about Talos Perform?**

No dislikes, but would love for Appraisd to incorporate employee engagement into their system and reporting facility for feedback

**Recommendations to others considering Talos Perform:**

100% recommend for a more fluid performance management process

**What problems is Talos Perform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Used to have a paperwork appraisal process, which would happen only once a year. Now we are able to do this online, our staff will always be able to reference back to it. And we can also do quarterly check ins to ensure everyone is making progress with their objectives.

**What do you like best about Talos Perform?**

Right from the set up process, the team were always on hand and happy to help so their customer service is great.  The system was set up and tailored to our needs.
The appraisal system and check-ins features are easy to use and has helped our appraisers and appraisee's have full visibility and they can track their performance again company objectives and values.
The ability for an administrator to easily update and maintain employees is good.

**What do you dislike about Talos Perform?**

Its not really a dislike but more understanding from Managers on the reporting functions for their teams.

**Recommendations to others considering Talos Perform:**

Make sure you fully understand the set up of Appraisal and questions required.  Engage with both Appraisers and Appraisee's to create the best appraisal system for their needs.
I think if you do this it will make the set up easier for the team and yourself.

Greater visibility on yearly performance and progression.

The new updated version of the software user-interface is reminiscent of facebook.  As such employees find the software easy to navigate and complete their performance review.  We are able to easily gather feedback as part of the review process which means we can identify and execute training interventions easily across the business

**What do you dislike about Talos Perform?**

Previously the older software wasn't as user friendly but the updates have address alot of these issues.

**Recommendations to others considering Talos Perform:**

This is a great tool to have as a digital appraisal process.  It allows employees and managers to capture ongoing objectives and acts as a portal to provide updates on those objectives.  The systems new feature of capturing feedback is particularly useful for in-the-moment feedback to ensure that feedback is timely and fedback to management.

**What problems is Talos Perform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use appraisd as part of our formal and informal employee review process.  Employees are provided with a different quarterly review form to complete within their employee life-cycle but managers are also able to use the system to conduct 1-1 conversations.  The system allows for question prompts to aid discussion and to capture value able feedback and objectives.

**What do you like best about Talos Perform?**

After evaluating many other programs, we found Appraisd to the best in terms of a modern and user friendly system that best meets our teams needs. The integrated interphase with employee objectives, feedback, L&D, check-ins, reviews, talent management, etc. is extremely important in helping our teams grow and foster their career development.

Our key take outs:

- Program is very easy to understand and use.
- Extremely flexible and easy adaptable…depending on your organisations needs.
- All updates are captured instantly. Very easy to track and monitor progress of the team goals.
- Program can be used all the time…anytime…anywhere.
- The “real time check in" process helps our managers stay on top of their teams requirements and support.
- Users are sent electronic reminders and alerts via email. 
- Electronic and web based  for both computer and smart phone users.
- Back-up support and help is great with a fully committed and knowledgeable Appraisd team.

Appraisd is a “live” program that allows employees and the employer to seamlessly manage their work. Our teams  maintain a clear focus on delivering their goals and objectives. We apply the SMART principles with our team objectives.

The continuous tracking of their activities in Appraisd is transparent and pro-active. 

Our teams feel empowered to manage their careers and growth with support of their Learning and Development efforts.

**What do you like best about Talos Perform?**

Like an app, easy to use, anytime anywhere. Easy to refer back to notes from previous one to ones, chats. We set it up to capture training needs also.

**What do you dislike about Talos Perform?**

No downsides. We needed some customization and nothing was too much trouble for the team. They worked with us to figure out the best way to get what we wanted out o the product.

**What problems is Talos Perform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has made having one to one check in conversations really easy. Managers and employees can find what they recorded from their last chat. We put in a section for objectives and training needs too. We also added in our behaviours. We emphasized that it was up to employees/managers how they used it - we weren't prescriptive. If they wanted a quick catch up conversation with a few notes that was fine. If it was a lengthier conversation eg quarterly then they could opt to cover.

**What do you like best about Talos Perform?**

Highly configurable and great new look after some updates last year that made the user experience better and kept it looking modern.
The team at Appraisd are friendly and helpful who were committed to helping us get the best from the platform - very good customer service.
Easy to tweak and update most parts of the tool so that it worked for our desired way of working.
Makes it easy for people to keep track of their objectives and progress towards them.
Useful for collection of key Talent Review and Mobility data.
Lots of positive feedback from our employees.
Looks great on mobile too.
Fundamentally, Appraisd made it easier for people and their managers, saving them time and giving the organisation access to much more useful and insightful data than we'd had previously.

**What do you dislike about Talos Perform?**

Not much to say here but password resets were sometimes tricky for some of our people but this was due to our internal set up and firewalls etc rather than an issue with Appraisd. Almost all parts of the system are configurable so there really wasn't much we couldn't do to our exact requirements.

**Recommendations to others considering Talos Perform:**

I would recommend Appraisd to anyone considering a tool to support effective performance management. It's so configurable you have the flexibility to make it fit with your requirements rather than having to stick with the vendor's fixed ways of working. Appraisd were always quick to react to any requirements we had that needed input from their side and/or to advise as to how we could acheive the same result.

Give it a try with a pilot group and use the pilot group as your internal champions - we found this group spoke positively about the tool to their colleagues and it helped with the change management.

**What problems is Talos Perform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We saved employees and their managers hours for each review cycle and moved towards a more continuous approach to performance management at the same time.
It allows people to focus on the conversation and changes the perception that appraisals are "tick the box" exercises. 
At the same time, we collected useful, actionable data and insights that informed key Talent decisions and where we focused our Learning & Development efforts.
Through Appraisd and how we set up our review process, we also created an internal talent pool of candidates for key roles.
By working with the team at Appraisd we were able to embed key performance data from other internal systems, using PowerBI, thereby reducing the reporting requirement from the Data Warehouse team.

**What do you like best about Talos Perform?**

It's such a simple, easy to use and easy to set up system  with great online support. You can make it as complex or easy as it needs to be,  with 360 feedback, reminders and development plans too 
You can brand it and set it up as open or as closed as you need to, loads of features that you can set. 
Loved using it and the team always helped online if I got stuck!
The chat bot is a real person!

**What do you dislike about Talos Perform?**

Didnt have more HR functionality tools behind it.... its such a brilliant system we'd love to have it as an on boarding,  HR tool/platform as well.

It's great. Go speak to them and speak to their clients.
