## About Applitools
Applitools is a test automation platform that helps engineering teams release software with confidence by replacing the guesswork of probabilistic AI with deterministic, reproducible test results. As organizations ship AI-influenced code faster, they face a growing visibility problem: AI-generated code validated by opaque AI agents creates a cycle of unquantifiable risk. Applitools provides a deterministic, outside vantage point, comparing your evolving product against a trusted production baseline to deliver a verifiable Go/No-Go signal at every release. At the core of the platform is a Deterministic Language Model (DLM) combined with Visual AI. The DLM converts plain English test intent into repeatable, debuggable steps with no LLM involvement at runtime, eliminating AI drift and flaky CI results. Visual AI replaces brittle DOM assertions with single-line visual snapshots that simulate how a real user sees your application, filtering out rendering noise and surfacing actual regressions. Together, they eliminate the maintenance tax of legacy test automation, shifting engineering time away from fixing broken scripts and toward building better test coverage. Core capabilities: - Visual AI testing replaces brittle DOM assertions with single-line visual snapshots that simulate how a real user sees your application, filtering out rendering noise and surfacing actual regressions - Deterministic Language Model (DLM) converts plain English test intent into repeatable, debuggable steps with no LLM involvement at runtime, eliminating AI drift and flaky CI results - Cross-browser and cross-device test coverage runs across thousands of browser and device combinations without local grid infrastructure or maintenance overhead - Framework-native SDKs integrate directly into Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, and Storybook, so teams keep existing tooling and workflows - Automated baseline management groups related visual differences across browsers and resolutions for bulk one-click acceptance, reducing test maintenance as suites scale Applitools supports functional, visual, accessibility, API, component, and data-driven testing across web, mobile, desktop, PDFs, and documents, providing a consistent quality signal from design through production.

## Applitools Reviews
  ### 1. Reliable visual testing tool that saves time and improves UI quality.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nishank H. | Cloud computing , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

One thing I really like about Applitools is how accurate the visual testing is. It catches even the smallest UI changes that normal automation usually misses. The dashboard is simple, clean, and makes it easy to review snapshots and compare baselines. It also integrates smoothly with the automation tools I already use, so I don’t have to change my workflow. Overall, it saves a lot of time and effort in regression testing.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

Sometimes the initial setup feels a bit confusing, especially if you’re new to visual testing. Creating and managing baselines can take some time in the beginning. Also, when there are very minor pixel differences, the tool occasionally raises false positives, which I need to manually approve. But once everything is configured properly, it becomes easier to manage.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applitools helps me identify UI issues early before they reach production. It catches layout shifting, color mismatches, missing elements, and responsive design problems that normal automated tests don’t detect. This has reduced the manual effort needed for visual checks and improved the overall quality of our releases.

  ### 2. Effortless UI Testing That Saves Time and Catches Hidden Issues

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed A. | QA Engineer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

I’ve been using Applitools for a bit now, and honestly, it’s pretty solid. The best part is how it catches those tiny UI issues that we usually miss when checking things manually. Setting it up wasn’t too much of a headache, and once it’s running, the visual tests save a lot of back-and-forth. It does act a little picky on some screens, but overall, it’s been a huge time-saver. If you deal with UI changes often, it’s definitely worth giving a try.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

Even with AI, it sometimes freaks out over tiny harmless UI changes. Other than that, I think it is so cool!

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applitools solves the annoying problem of visual bugs slipping through regular automation. Instead of me writing a bunch of checks for every tiny UI detail, it just catches things automatically, like layout issues, weird spacing, elements moving around, all of it. It honestly saves me a lot of time and keeps the UI looking the way it’s supposed to. It’s one less thing to worry about during testing.

  ### 3. Effortless Visual Testing with Powerful AI and Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Haris K. | Unemployment, Writing and Editing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

Applitools‍‌‍‍‌ is a great tool that helps a lot with visual testing by making it very easy, fast, and reliable. The AI-powered comparison engine locates those UI bugs which are very hard to overlook by manual checks or even by traditional automation. What really impresses me is the ease with which it can be integrated into the already existing test frameworks, and also, the dashboard being a clean and intuitive one, makes it very easy to review the differences. The tool is very effective in time-saving, making false positives less frequent, and, generally, it increases the release team's trust ‍‌‍‍‌level.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

The‍‌‍‍‌ biggest negative point is that the learning curve might seem quite steep initially, particularly if one is setting up advanced configurations or integrating with complex pipelines. There might be situations where the maintenance of tests could take up a lot of time if a large number of visual changes are happening frequently in the UI. The cost may also be a factor limiting the teams of small sizes. The tool, however, functions properly, but the company's speed could be improved during heavy test ‍‌‍‍‌loads.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applitools‍‌‍‍‌ is the solution that makes it possible to visually detect regressions across various browsers, devices, and screen resolutions in a reliable way. Conventional automated tests frequently fail to recognize styling issues, layout shifts, or even small UI inconsistencies, however, the visual AI of Applitools detects them right away. This is a massive reduction in the time that would otherwise have to be used for performing manual visual checks and also the risk of UI defects making their way into the production environment is considerably lowered. Consequently, our testing becomes not only quicker and more precise but also much less of a maintenance burden, thus we are able to release with higher ‍‌‍‍‌confidence.

  ### 4. Efficient Visual Testing with Room for Improvement

I use Applitools mainly for visual testing, and I love how it helps me quickly spot UI changes after deployments while catching layout issues and verifying screens across different browsers. It saves a lot of time and reduces the need for manual checking. The software's AI-based comparison is very accurate, catching small UI issues without producing a lot of false alarms, which is incredibly valuable to me. I appreciate how Applitools integrates smoothly with Selenium and other automation tools, enhancing my workflow efficiency. The ease of use is another standout feature for me. Additionally, the initial setup process was straightforward and uncomplicated from my perspective.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

I find the execution of tests in Applitools to be slow, which can be frustrating. Additionally, the baseline management becomes confusing, especially when multiple team members are updating the baseline. The pricing of Applitools is also a concern, as it seems to be less flexible and may not suit different budget needs.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Applitools for visual testing, which helps me quickly spot UI changes, catch layout issues, and verify screens across browsers, saving time and reducing the need for manual checks.

  ### 22. The best tool for visual testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michal P. | Senior Quality Assurance Test Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

We've been working with Applitools for over 5 years and honestly, it's been a complete joy. Their tools are easy to use and easy to implement into the existing automation flow.
The best thing about Applitools is that they are here to help You - not just sell You a product or upsell You or whatever. Everything they do is with the customer (being You) in mind - and help You in any way possible to achieve your testing needs.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

It's really hard to point out some negatives but I'd mention two.
The site can sometimes be a bit sluggish, especially on a slower connection and/or a slower computer. But that's rarely an issue.
Also, maintenance can take some time until you get into the flow.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're developing a desktop application based on CEF - thus it's possible to use it akin to a browser - which also allows us to easily implement Applitools.
Given that the application is quite big and a lot of components are shared, sometimes it's hard to test everything manually when changes are made - especially those that were made by accident. And with a team of 10+ JS developers, it's really easy for these types of changes to appear.
That's where Applitools comes in - it helps us notice any unwanted changes.

  ### 23. A great QA Tool for cross browser/device testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

The shallow learning curve for initially implementing it.

Typically QAs have less experience working with code and less time to learn. this can make starting a proof of concept or just integrating a plugin into an existinging framework prohibitively expensive in terms of time.

With Applitools we've found that its been easy to integrate with our automation framework. The majority of the work was very straightforward and required little more than than the read me that comes with the package. Where we got stuck the online documentation and helpful engineers helped us get back on track.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

The way errors are returned in hooks can be troublesome when creating automated reports.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applitools is our go-to tool for cross-browser and cross-device testing for our web platform. Without this tool, we'd have to use traditional cross-browser platforms that can be slow and unreliable.

Furthermore, the visual regression aspect massively enhances our assertions some "it's visible" to is "it's visually perfect"

  ### 24. Easy, Efficient, Awesome!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dwayne G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

We setup Applitools using the Cypress SDK, and the best part about Applitools is getting confidence that if we introduce unintended changes, those are found right away.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

There have been a few times that we've seen an issue with snapshot quality (these were already fixed in a newer update of the SDK). The only other thing we disliked is there wasn't built in support for Azure DevOps Server on the pipelines, but this feature is now available and getting updates.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applitools has many SDKs that make it easy to start creating snapshots and comparing those baselines against newer ones. This helps us avoid creating a problem with our user experience by finding any differences we weren't expecting, highlighting them, and giving us more detail about the issue. The tool is extremely good at noticing the differences that matter and allowing us to ignore differences based only on a pixel-by-pixel difference.

  ### 25. Awesome collaboration tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

I found people keep using this tool the wrong way. This is a powerful collaboration tool for Engineers, designers and product people to understand how customers experience their applications and product.

Personally, I find the best way to leverage this tool is by using it as a conversation icebreaker to explore the various challenges different customers may encounter, particularly when using different browsers and mobile devices.

I absolutely love this tool!

It allows me to manage the precision required for validation, and I'm also thrilled about its new self-healing capability for cloud runners. This feature takes the user experience to a whole new level, ensuring smooth operations and minimising disruptions.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

I find the branch and baseline functionality can be a bit confusing, especially for non-technical people in the organisation.

I do not have a solution and recommendation, but it might be a good idea to review again with the UX teams and get feedback from different customers if this is helping them or not.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applitools is solving my cross-browser and cross-device visual validation requirements and some of the accessibility problems some tools lack to provide. It also reduces my automation execution and has help me with component validations early in the delivery cycle thanks to their implementation of tools such as storyBook, and their component visual validation capability.

In addition, there is an excellent, fast support. One has a dedicated contact person who responds immediately within a few hours. At the same time, they offer support for realizing your own projects based on Applitools.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

Applitools is quite an expensive tool in comparison, which of course comes with the power of the tool. It would be desirable to have a package that is structured differently for large companies with many required accesses, so that you do not have to pay per account. This makes it somewhat unattractive for a large company to roll out the full power of the tool across the entire company.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Applitools we are able to build a reliable Visual Test Automation that helps us compare screens pixel by pixel. It is rare to find such sophisticated tools on the market and it helps us to keep the quality of our product high

**Official Response from Marii Boyken:**

> Thank you for your feedback, Katharina! ### 27. Applitools - not just software, but real people who want to help.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

Applitools is an extremely sophisticated organization who understands the testing world and the limitations that a lot of the product offerings today lack. They have an incredible suite of tools that enable one to be sure of any differences that may occur for anything that you're testing. We've recently done a slack channel integration with their time and they've been beyond helpful in helping me understand best practices with their software and with what I was building. Having an organization that supports testing efforts and that can be leveraged as a third party for additional questions and troubleshooting is immensely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

Honestly the only dislike I would have about Applitools is that some of their documentation online is out of date and thankfully because we have the slack integration with their team, I'm able to get better more up to date information that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to find. With a company as large as theirs with as many product offerings they have, it can be difficult to always stay on top of documentation, but when there is only one resource to follow and that resource is wrong or out-dated it can be frustrating during the development process.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applitools is allowing us to solve the problem of manually validating legal pdf agreements and the email communications we send to our clients so we can be more on top of unexpected changes that may happen to those and allow us to more easily validate updates to those without having to do a bunch of manual work. The fact that this automation runs daily and allows us at any point to check legal language or the appearance of an email is extremely helpful and in the case we needed to suddenly change a bunch of logos or legal language, everything is already setup to fast track those changes to a production enviroment.

  ### 28. Software Developer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Baruch O. | Software Developer, Program Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

Particularly when compared to other testing techniques that I have tried in the past, the use of screenshots and image comparison technology ensures that all visual elements are being checked and validated, making it an effective tool for detecting and fixing visual bugs.

Other testing techniques I have tried in the past have not been able to provide the same level of accuracy and coverage when it comes to visual testing, leaving me frustrated and unsatisfied.

Applitools has proven to be a valuable addition to my development workflow, providing a unique and valuable service that addresses a need that is not met by any other testing techniques.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

The downside of Applitools is its web interface, which is not as intuitive as it could be. Managing a large base of tests within the web interface can be challenging, it can become cluttered and difficult to navigate.

To mitigate this, it is recommended to integrate Applitools with a version control system like Github to control and manage your tests effectively, this allows for better organization, easier maintenance and versioning of tests.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Applitools, I struggled with other testing frameworks and found it challenging to test UI changes thoroughly.

With Applitools, I can test the entire page at once, including pure UI changes, and get a review from designers before publishing the code. This allows me to catch and fix visual bugs early in the development process, saving time and resources.

Additionally, it enables me to have a more efficient and streamlined workflow, by having a designer review the page before publishing the code.

Visual testing for mobile and web applications at high scale

  ### 30. Great Tool and Great Team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lior D. | Product Owner & QA Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

I want to emphasise how intuitive the application is and how easy it is to learn its various features. With this in mind and the straightforward integration of the tool into our infrastructure, we could quickly get efficient tests in both functional and time manners.
In addition, I would like to give big KUDOS and lots of appreciation to the customer success team that is always eager to answer our questions and concerns professionally and politely.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

We noticed occasional false positives, but this is substantial to be mentioned as a dislike while using Applitools.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an n Applitools user, one can begin UI automation almost without coding knowledge. This is a good start for any QA beginners who one to start and learn the field while producing some tests without knowing any code at all.

  ### 31. Applitools is the best tool in the market for visual validation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose M. | Automation Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

The way Applitools uses visual AI validation and a powerful dashboard to represent the quality state of our product efficiently. Plus, cool features like auto-healing or cloud execution capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

Incorporating a powerful tool into the corporate industry can be challenging if Applitools does not offer license package flexibility.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Traditional UI validation requires to do assertions in every page component; with Applitools we compare two images: Actual result vs. previous execution, looking for differences; with this approach, we get:
- Less code to maintain
- Reduce execution flakiness
- Increase automation velocity
- Facilitate maintenance

  ### 35. Ultrafast Grid feature by Applitools gives us quick AUT results & capture screenshots in the Driver

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mounika C. | Cloud Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

Applitools effectively integrates our Application Under Test (AUT) with our Application Driver (Selenium/Appium) through its Eyes SDK. We can easily identify differences while processing baseline images through Eyes Server. It also provides steadfast Test Manager utility, which captures the test results, updates our baselines and reports the differences between two test runs. Eyes SDK is convenient to use since it supports most of our website & mobile automation testing frameworks.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

Applitools has provided all the services required for performing our automation testing & we are satisfied with it. We noticed occasional lag then and there, but it didn't significantly affect our test outcomes, so it's okay for us. There is nothing substantial to be mentioned as a dislike while using Applitools.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We make the most out of the Applitools Ultrafast Grid feature to reduce the execution time of our visual test cases. It's easy to offload our baseline images to the AWS platform so that we can process them parallely on multiple EC2 servers. We don't have to establish any dedicated QA lab as it offers a cross-browser test platform. Ultrafast Grid utilizes data caching techniques to reduce our transmission overhead for our EC2 instances. Finally, multiple viewpoint screenshots are taken using its CLI utility & Eyes SDK in the application driver as part of our retention activity.

  ### 36. Visual testing at hand

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc S. | Head of QA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

The tool is very easy to integrate with our automation framework based on Cypress, and we are accompanied and followed very regularly by the Applitools team to get the maximum benefits

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

Some KPIs cannot be followed directly from the admin interface, which can be slightly frustrating for monitoring. But the impact is limited as they can be communicated by the Applitools team that follows us

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applitools helps us prevent a large part of the visual regressions inherent to our product evolutions. With Applitools, visual differences are quickly identified and analyzed across multiple resolutions and browsers, saving us valuable time and allowing us to deliver faster

  ### 37. It does what it is expected to do and is consistent in visual testing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

Completes all the validations of a screen in a single go
Consistent in identifying discrepancies
Eyes method are easy to use and integrates with Selenium without hassles

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

Doesn't correctly validate for few scenarios in Chrome, the alternate was to use edge chromium.
Number of screenshots available for validations can be a bit higher irrespective of plan chosen

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps in validations on applications built on third-party apps, Integrates perfectly with Selenium framework and reduces the number of lines of code and ensures quick validations and results everytime.
Integrates with Azure devops and works for our project set up smoothly with CI/CD pipelines

  ### 38. Great support and quick resolving for any problems we have

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Milen S. | Senior QA Team Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

First place: amazing support and commitment from the Applitools guys. The visual testing part of Applitools is very easy and natural to use and you don't need to be a technical expert in order to use it. There are new features which are very usefull - UFG and Visual locators are something we are exploring right now and they could resolve some of our issues.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

I would like to see more examples in the documentation - for example the visual locators was not extensive enough IMO and we needed more support from Applitools side. I would like to see password expiration for the site so we ensure that the people don't use the same password everywhere and it stays years. Same would help us ensure that people who are not in the company will lost their access if they were not removed from the dashboard.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have two main issues - one related to normal visual testing, where Applitools is doing grate job, and now it gives even more with UFG where we can have cross browser/platform check as well. The other problem we have is not web native applications which can't use Selenium or any other web testing framework just because we don't have DOM tree and it is just canvas hiding everything. Here Applitools is replacing our current implementation which is with sikulix and it is much easier for usage and maintenance.

  ### 39. A must have tool for intelligent visual testing!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay O. | Software Development Engineer in Test, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

once you have applitools set up, it's invaluable for reliable visual testing across browsers. we use cypress, so being able to fill the cross-browser gap left for safari; applitools gives us a lot more confidence for releasing!

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

as a tool, it's pretty complex, so it requires a lot of initial set-up, adjusting tests and learning how to use applitools to the fullest. it is also pretty slow, taking around 100 seconds for a simple test because of the amount of work going on in the background. A lot of this can be fixed with more tests and more parallel tests, but this costs more money; and the applitools is NOT cheap, making it very difficult to use it in its most efficient without paying a lot of money.

**Recommendations to others considering Applitools:**

It's the best tool I've ever used for visual automation testing!

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

being able to test our applications visually, across all browsers and versions, all within our current testing tool; which is really impressive! it allows us to use the same pipelines and release knowing that we have covered functionality in all browsers.

  ### 40. Applitools is an indispensable part of our design system development

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joris v. | Software Tester, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

Applitools is very accurate, and a very efficient tool for regression, After a run the deviations from baseline are detected and presented in a very user friendly interface. every deviation can be quickly reviewed and either preserved in the baseline or rejected by one click.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

Incidentally there are some false positives, but most of it can be adressed by using a bit of a timeout for a snapshot. Also, after using Applitools for some time you get familiar with those.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applitools drastically reduces the time taken for regression testing. ALso, it would be impossible for a human tester to manually detect all the deviations that Applitool can track. We also use the storybook plugin, which is run by our developers after completing a feature, giving an almost instant report on the effect of their changes across our design system.

  ### 41. Applitools team and ApplitoolsEyes frameowrk solved our screen comparing issues

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Boaz W. | Senior Mobile & HW Automation Engineer at Stanley Black & Decker, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

We realized that we needed to compare graphs during our automation test writing. That comparison could not be made with Selenium, Applitools Eyes was the answer for that.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

Applitools gives more than we need, and we sometimes find ourselves lost with all the suggested services. Thanks to their excellent support team, we got all the answers to our questions.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Graphs screen shots comparing

  ### 42. Innovative testing requires innovative tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delcho D. | Junior Automation Quality Assurance, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

The simplicity of use, in addition to the number of features they support is also a big plus, along with the huge number of frameworks they offer and the fast support from their side

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

The documentation is a little bit hard to read and use, maybe more structured and detailed one, as are the rest of the tools will be very helpful because for a new starter, lacking of tutorials in combination with that is not a good option

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my company Applitools is not used only as a Visual testing tool, it is also used for navigating through the screen via the pictures(or locators). The last can be quite handy if there is no other way to move the cursor around the screen via the automation

  ### 43. An amazing experience using Applitools

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandre B. | Quality Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

Taking screenshots on specific regions is great.
Also I like the "Insights" view on the dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

Not a clear way to see the current baselines in a dedicated place.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Elements in shadow code are not accessible using xpaths so using Applitools was great to check values in such fields.
Some complex contents with dynamically created class names/ids was difficult to check, but very easy using Applitools.
With Applitools we solved also all the styling checking issues - one screen shot and that's done for several checks more or less easy to perform (sometimes impossible) with standard checks.

  ### 44. Applitools save time for coding while increases quality of the product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

I like how easy Applitools is to use in writing code and in the maintenance of the verifications, how it can be used on different platforms and the quality of the support. If you have any issues, support will help you in a few hours.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

Downsides are the costs, for the small products it can be expensive to use Applitools, and if your app has a structure that is changing very often, it will be difficult to configure verifications.

**Recommendations to others considering Applitools:**

If you have some budget to spend on improving assertions of your autotests, applitools can increase their value and find bugs straight after they appear.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applitools reduce the amount of time you are spending on writing assertions for the product, and meanwhile, it improves the verifications. Humans can't find bugs that Applitools can. And it's very easy to update expected results if your product was changed.

  ### 45. I the experience that i have had with Applitools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

The most helpful part has been the expertise of the applitools account manager Talia, she has made the transition to using the application a smooth process with no questions left.
If we require help with anything, she is always there to run through the issue that we may have over zoom & we can always get a resolution.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

There isn't anything that I dislike about the tool as it serves our purpose when we are testing a lot of documentation

**Recommendations to others considering Applitools:**

Definitely use Applitools if you have a lot of documents to check

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem that we had was that all documents that were generated during our Regression of the system had to be checked by the human eye, this is now all gone with using applitools & has cut down the time it takes to verify that the system is working & behaving correctly.

  ### 46. A very good visual testing tools with great customer support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danz G. | Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

The AI to set baseline and check for differences, the ultra fast grid (still implementing), and the nice customer support

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

A bit problematic in integrating in our solution, don't get me wrong, if I try the straight forward approach, it's very easy, but when upgrading our inhouse solution it gets errors. Maybe a faster feedback on my queries can make this experience better.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we were only using selenium, and it doesnt give a real life feedback on the health of our UI pages. Also, using selenium only, gives us more work by creating more page objects.

  ### 47. Applitools review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

It covers all our visual validations, so we don't need to validate visual classes and things like that
The availably of the support team is remarkable

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

The fact that running tests with applitools takes doubled time

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applitools cover all the visual validations so we don't need to waste coding time and running time on classes and visual validations

  ### 48. Applitools is the one of the best GUI testing framework which I have worked on.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Syamphaneendra K. | Test Automation Principle consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

I liked that Applitools provide multiple SDK's & support multiple frameworks. Also, Applitools regions & A/B testing are really helpful in some situations. I like the Applitools dashboard too which is very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

As far as I know, there is nothing much to dislike in this tool. I only suggest that it would be great if we get more improvements/features with cucumber framework integration.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mainly use Applitools for UI testing. Apart from GUI testing, I use applitools for A/B testing. Applitools ultra grid is a great feature and it's beneficial during cross-browser testing.

  ### 49. An invaluable tool for ensuring the quality of the web application's user interface!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Gambling & Casinos | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

The best thing about Applitools is the ease of use. It is very simple to get started with, and there are a lot of helpful tutorials and guides on how to use it effectively. Their customer support is great too! I have found the software to be reliable and accurate, which is important for ensuring the quality of my testing.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

There is a learning curve to using Applitools, but once you get the hang of it, it's a powerful tool that can save you a lot of time and effort in testing your web applications. The documentation can be more detailed in some areas. There's nothing much that I dislike!

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By automating the process of taking screenshots and comparing them, Applitools can provide accurate and up-to-date information on how an application looks. The ultrafast grid significantly reduces the execution time of our visual tests.

  ### 50. I am very pleased with Applitools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Applitools?**

The communication with Applitools is really good. I want to thank Rivka and Talia for their commitment and for organizing the following sessions:
- Initial meeting - We had a wonderful presentation by Talia and Rivka for the Matching algorithms, regions, baseline maintenance and have provided us with additional resources
- Implementation meeting - We had an implementation meeting with Rivka where we have reviewed our tests and Rivka provided us with some advices on best practices and indicated what we can update in our code to be more efficient
- Follow up meeting - A follow up meeting from the implementation testing is scheduled for tomorrow, where we will review all of the changes made by us and will discuss other functionalities available

Also during the changes, we had the support from Rivka and she guided us through some of the changes.

**What do you dislike about Applitools?**

Well I cannot be useful here, because for now I am just starting to use Applitools, once we have some tests integrated and running, then I might give more valuable feedback.

**What problems is Applitools solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applitools is helping us with automating some of our test scenarios because of the visual testing tool.
