## About Apparatus
Apparatus is an AI consulting, training, and development firm for professional services organizations. It works with boutique and mid-size firms in law, consulting, accounting, financial services, real estate, and healthcare (typically 10 to 100 people.) Most AI consultancies are built for large enterprises and price accordingly ($500K+ engagements are common). Apparatus works with smaller firms that already have people using ChatGPT or Claude here and there, but haven't turned that into anything systematic. The work starts with low-risk pilots on whatever's eating the most hours, proves out the math, then scales. Training runs across three levels: Foundations: prompt writing, shared prompt libraries, custom GPTs and Claude Projects. The stuff that saves a team 5–10 hours a week once everyone stops reinventing the wheel. Power Tools: reusable skills, file connections, and data source integrations. One person's workflow becomes something the whole firm can run. Custom Development: agents, dashboards, and deployed tools. This is where firms start building things they can sell to clients or use to win work they couldn't touch before.

**What do you like best about Apparatus?**

Apparatus gave an excellent class that greatly increased our team's understanding of basic AI concepts. I see great potential in optimizing workflows, especially in our architecture department, with methods like file organization control using Claude Cowork. The expertise in how AI works and methods of giving the AI context to be more accurate were particularly valuable. The Apparatus team is very welcoming to questions, and I appreciate their solid knowledge of the software. Sean was a great teacher, and we're encouraged to reach out to them anytime with questions as we embark on our AI journey. The implementation of Claude has been much better with the guidance from the class than it would have been otherwise.

**What do you dislike about Apparatus?**

Maybe a few more opportunities to work in the software while in class to get hands on experience in an environment where we can ask questions and work through challenges with some 'training wheels'.

**What problems is Apparatus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Apparatus helped us coordinate our efforts to utilize AI better, optimizing workflows in each department. In architecture, it aids file organization and assists as a creative thinking partner.
