Ant design has the best documentation. It's all clear in any manner. In the documentation, they provide links. Using this link, we can understand the element functionality in real-time. **What do you dislike about Ant Design React?** There are certain things. 1. Whenever we want to change the styles of any element. The ant design renders the global style that is not like by the developer's point of view. 2 . We want good pop-up's in the ant-design library. **What problems is Ant Design React solving and how is that benefiting you?** Certain things are beneficial from a business point of you. 1. Development Time:- It saves time for development. As a developer, whenever we want a component first design the element and then create the functionality using Ant design. We already have elements and a lot of elements that are sufficient to develop a great project. 2. Code Reusability:- For example, if we want some toast message, we don't have to write much of the code using only the message component given by the library. So code reusability is excellent. 3. The docs have code examples which help out a lot and make things quick to implement. Since it's such a popular framework, there is a lot of customer support available on forums. I find myself using this framework frequently because of easy it is to make a professional-looking app without design experience and quickly! **What do you dislike about Ant Design React?** I dislike that sometimes it can be hard to customize certain components to fit your app's design language. If you are using the components as is then it won't be as much of an issue, but just something to keep in mind about Ant Design. **What problems is Ant Design React solving and how is that benefiting you?** Design is difficult. Making components like date-pickers is difficult. Ant design solves this by providing industrial/professional looking components that are beautifully styled and really really easy to get started with. Because it is backed by Ant Group, I am confident in this framework because it is battle-tested at scale. I can easily get complicated components like data tables and datepickers with a single import statement. Amazing! ### 3. The designed components can be used in React js or tsx file. It is a very popular library and for styling in ant design we can use less which is also a style sheet as CSS. The best part is it very easy to use and the design are very much attractive. **What do you dislike about Ant Design React?** Ant Design internally maintains its styling part and for that reason, customization becomes a little bit hectic. One thing I would like to add is that if there will be a cdn library for CSS by using that we can give style to any of the elements by using just the class name. It based on the current materialist design theme which allow us to give a better vies to our project in UI UX **What do you dislike about Ant Design React?** Some of the art I like to suggest ant team to work on are- 1. As the ant design has a plenty of icon package which can be integrated bt its own icon pack is very small in collection and not so great icon used. Also, there's no provision to directly use SVGs a icon in the projects. 2. At some components ant has used it's own customized CSS which can't be directly applied with the use of the component and due to this, an developer has to provide extra efforts to provide the same look and feel. 3. Most of the component behaviors and UX patterns are ideal in the general case. The documentation is extensive, with tons of examples, and stays up to date. The default design in the last couple of major versions has remained classic enough that nothing about it looks dated yet. Configuring the build so that Ant uses your custom style values is a bit trickier to figure out but doable nonetheless. Devs/maintainers are super responsive on GitHub. **What do you dislike about Ant Design React?** Providing custom styles on a component level can be a bit annoying to accomplish. I find we often are tempted to (and sometimes do) override styles on their global classes, frequently using "!important" directives, because it just feels so much more straightforward. So, I'd advise other users to keep in mind that this is a pretty comprehensive design system, and if you treat it as such, your expectations may be more appropriate, and you'll reap more of the benefits. **What problems is Ant Design React solving and how is that benefiting you?** When we're working along with Ant Design (and not hacking it as a quick-fix), it keeps our application incredibly cohesive. It is also relatively simple to establish good code patterns around the Ant components. Their component APIs set several good precedents to model. ### 13. They have open sourced library and options to pay for extra which is great in my opinion. I am overall satisfied with the code quality of the libraries. **What do you dislike about Ant Design React?** I don't like the fact that it's not too generic and is only meant for enterprise UI and mostly dashboards. They should have mobile first components and have better off the shelf support of responsive design. **What problems is Ant Design React solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have built multiple Single Page Web Applications using React and Ant Design. There was even an occasion where a management solution with custom UI library opted for using Ant Design to lessen their workload.
