## About Alma
Launched in 2018 by Dr. Harry Ritter, Alma is on a mission to simplify access to high-quality, affordable mental health are by giving providers the tools they need to build thriving in-network private practices. When providers join Alma, they gain access to insurance support, teletherapy software, client referrals, automated billing and scheduling tools, and a vibrant community of clinicians that come together for education, training, and events.

**What do you like best about Alma?**

Alma seemed convenient to discover healthcare providers and scheduling.

**What do you dislike about Alma?**

I scheduled an appointment through Alma, received the confirmation email and text. The therapist no-show'd the appointment. In addition to that, I wasn't able to get ahold of anyone. I received automated responses from the email and text system. Terrible experience.

**What problems is Alma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The way they ghost their users doesn't do much to solve mental health.

**What do you like best about Alma?**

Alma checks insurance information and provides essential insurance changes for my clients.  
They have been quick to respond to issues, and they help resolve problems quickly. 
Alma has also provided several referrals, which I appreciate as well.

**What do you dislike about Alma?**

I wish that Alma was credentialed with BCBS in the state I am credentialed in.

**What problems is Alma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are really on top of reviewing insurance and checking for changes in clients' insurance. They make billing insurance so easy that I have more time to focus on my patients.

**What do you like best about Alma?**

Alma solves the dilemma of terrible reimbursement rates for insurance clients, which means I can now take insurance without jeopardizing my personal finances.

**What do you dislike about Alma?**

Really no complaints. EHR capacity is still under development but constantly improving.

**What problems is Alma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I really want to be affordable as a therapist, which means taking insurance! With Alma, that becomes possible, even easy!
