By integrating with other applications, rather than reimplementing their functionality, it manages to provide a flexible set of features with high performance. The color of the terminal was best 3. opening link: In alacrity, if we need to open a link we can directly click and it will get open. **What do you dislike about Alacritty?** I like most of the features of the alacritty, but there are sometimes while changing the configuration of alacritty for any typo it breaks the whole terminal, and it will get crash, and It doesn’t support the feature of split and tabs. **What problems is Alacritty solving and how is that benefiting you?** Alarcitty has greatly reduced my effort, I am a big fan of its GUI of the terminal and it gives me full control of it, I can configure the as I want, As the terminal configuration are easy to use, the binding of key and mouse was really fun, the scrolling feature of alacrity solves my most of the problem compare to vim. ### 2. It's a terminal emulator which was published in 2017 - which might seem a bit silly - but it offers features like GPU acceleration, serious customization and cross-platform support which are still unmatched. It's fast. Alacritty's speed is unmatched. Compared to the macOS terminal, which I use daily, Alacritty is at least five times as fast. And thanks to the extensive customization, you can make it feel like the stock terminal. Best of all, it's released under the Apache software license - which means it's open-source. **What do you dislike about Alacritty?** Honestly - for someone who likes to point out tiny details in everything and suggest improvements, Alacritty truly has not shown me any flaws that are worth pointing out. **What problems is Alacritty solving and how is that benefiting you?** A good terminal is the backbone of all operations in the server administration world. While some utilities offer a GUI, CLI is still the go-to interface with unmatched flexibility and speed of use. Alacritty takes CLI to the next level by polishing this experience to the next level. It's fast and intuitive - and as such it eases routine admin tasks - and makes them look and run better, too. ### 3. Does a small set of features very well and intentionally leaves out other features that are better served by another product. For example, terminal multiplexing using Tmux **What do you dislike about Alacritty?** It took a little bit of effort to ensure that it worked properly with nerd-fonts. Running on Fedora, the process will sometimes hang and not resume correctly after locking the PC. **What problems is Alacritty solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is a highly performant terminal that allows extensive configuration. A significant portion of my day is spent in the terminal, so having one that is fast and reliable is important. ### 4. It has a very fast and efficient GUI which adds on to it's simple and elegant design. It's very easy to use and will have lots of fun with it. **What do you dislike about Alacritty?** I have run into a few bugs while using the terminal on windows such as having problem running admin commands etc. This will usually go away after relaunching the application in administrator mode. **What problems is Alacritty solving and how is that benefiting you?** Alacritty is open source and new changes are introduced to it very often. It's backed by a good community and the Devs listen to them. Which is a very good deal considering it is free. ### 5. The look of this terminal is also sleek and beautiful. **What do you dislike about Alacritty?** There is nothing to be disliked about this as of now, but there is one problem I face sometimes, whenever I open my laptop the previous sessions don't get restored which is quite annoying but not that repetitive. **What problems is Alacritty solving and how is that benefiting you?** The default terminal I used on my laptop was missing many configs that I wanted in my terminal for faster development, but in alacritty, that problem is solved and I am happy with that. ### 6.
