And The app Manager is awesome and very easy to use. And one more thing Responsiveness of Akumina team is great. **What do you dislike about Akumina?** Their are lots of functionality and Widget its very difficult to find prefect one Which match or prefect fit for your requirement, and one thing is its little bit slow also, rest all are good **Recommendations to others considering Akumina:** Its great tool to use. **What problems is Akumina solving and how is that benefiting you?** By using it In our organization now its very easy to communicate and access the required materials very easy and from anywhere and at anytime so its increase productivity of our organization. ### 2. It's a nice product and easy to use. The support we're currently getting from them is great. **What do you dislike about Akumina?** In the past we've had significant problems getting support and bug fixes from Akumina. Many open issues dragged on for months without progress. It seems as though they had some serious inefficiencies internally, or perhaps they just scaled up too quickly and had too many clients. However, this issue now seems much improved: They recently made a lot of structural and process changes and we have really noticed a difference in how thorough, organized and timely support from them now is. We're currently very happy with the support and customer service we're getting. **What problems is Akumina solving and how is that benefiting you?** We did not previously have an organization-wide intranet, and now we do. The InterChange platform has been extremely helpful in improving cross-organization communication and sharing success stories, news and other content. It took us a long time to build our intranet after we engaged with Akumina, but that has more to do with our internal timing than with their speed. ### 3. Some functions broke 2 months after launch, and 5 months later, still haven't been fixed. Developers and project managers have gone through a rotating door, leaving us hanging, month after month. Sadly, akumina doesn't appear to have staffed up - at all. Even help desk tickets linger for weeks and are only addressed when a high level demand is made. We have wasted countless staff hours on our end, reviewing the same site issues over and over again with different akumina staff, yet, have a 5 month old to-do list. akumina senior management is nice and wants to help, but totally unable to deliver. **Recommendations to others considering Akumina:** Wait for akumina to build up a functioning customer support and expanded development team. **What problems is Akumina solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our intranet serves as a primary communications tool to and with our organization. The clean, uncluttered intranet is very helpful for this important function. ### 4. Time previously spent by admins trying to troubleshoot our earlier intranet CMS and SharePoint site collection efforts was now being spent fine-tuning the our world-class campus portal. **What do you dislike about Akumina?** Normally it's easy to recite weaknesses, shortcomings, or dissatisfaction in a software vendor's offerings. Not so with Akumina—they have proven to be a diligent partner who always provides not only a best-in-class product, but an equally important level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness to our needs that's rare in today's business world. **Recommendations to others considering Akumina:** Please evaluate Akumina if you're looking for a superb intranet for your organization. **What problems is Akumina solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prior to 2017, Otterbein University faced many challenges with our intranet—the software was outdated, SharePoint was difficult to master, and time was running out. We rapidly replaced our entire intranet portal using Akumina technology. The university now enjoys a fully functional intranet for students, staff, and faculty accessible on any mobile device and OS. ### 6. I also like how the team gives us opportunities to showcase the work we have done to our site and to learn about others and new features via webinars. **What do you dislike about Akumina?** I do not like not having strict deadlines. I feel like we given great information on what we could possibly do, but actually putting it into place takes a long time. We have deadlines from our Executive Team and we often times cannot meet these deadlines because of the team's delay in action. **What problems is Akumina solving and how is that benefiting you?** Akumina provides us with some business benefits to reach our business goals by offering a platform for our intranet site. ### 7. I will say at this time Akumina has resolved all issues. **Recommendations to others considering Akumina:** Great product, but ensure you have an experienced project manager on your side to help the development process. **What problems is Akumina solving and how is that benefiting you?** We primarily use this as a communications tool and as a resource document repository.
