## AdvisoryCloud Reviews
  ### 1. Not really for Boards. It's for forming advisory committees.

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel K. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2025

**What do you like best about AdvisoryCloud?**

It had potential if it was connected to real Boards.

**What do you dislike about AdvisoryCloud?**

There can be tons of people in these Boards and there are chats and input from people like Interns. The quality of the people on the site does not match what you would ever want on an advisory board.

**What problems is AdvisoryCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It doesn't solve anything. It is a crowded space for wanna be Board members with no experience or credit. I saw an Intern on one of the Boards I was interested. When I signed up, I saw there were 20+ people on their Board. How do you get any real solid advice with that many people?

  ### 2. SCAM Website

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about AdvisoryCloud?**

Nothing. They don't place you on a real board, just fake "online" boards with hundreds of other members. They're deceiving their customers who are in turn deceiving the world by putting "board member" on their LinkedIn and resume.

**What do you dislike about AdvisoryCloud?**

This is a SCAM to take your money. I got charged for a free trail even though I cancelled before it was over.

Their free trial states "14 day free trial." All their cancellation emails said I needed to cancel on 11/18. I cancelled on that day, but they still charged me. And they refuse to refund my money. This website is nothing more than a SCAM to take your money.

Read the other reviews here... I'm not the only one.

**What problems is AdvisoryCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It isn't helping me solve anything but wasting my time.

  ### 3. Billed for a full membership after cancelling before my free trial ran out

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabe M. | Director of Customer Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2023

**What do you like best about AdvisoryCloud?**

Nothing, literally they send way too many emails and their desire to actually resolve a customer support issue is non-existent.

**What do you dislike about AdvisoryCloud?**

I wish I had read ther reviews here before signing up. However I gave the free trial ago and cancelled my subscription before the free trial ran out. I contacted support the day the charge showed up and they said I have never cancelled and there is no way to issue a refund. It is so disappointing that a company that could have been used in the future when I had more time has lost my trust completely. I have not interest in doing business with them ever and would highly recommend that anyone considering them find another provider.

I was offered a free month or a free upgrade, which I politely declined and I know they are capable of issuing a refund and aren't willing to. Do right by the customer, and it willl pay off in the long run.

**What problems is AdvisoryCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have solved nothing and provided no benefit.

  ### 4. Company is a Scam with Illegal Billing Practices

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2023

**What do you like best about AdvisoryCloud?**

There was nothing that I liked. they made it extremely cumbersome to deal with and didn't recommend any half way decent companies.

**What do you dislike about AdvisoryCloud?**

Their billing policy is a complete scam. I canceled five days before my 30-day renewal date and they still billed me because they said I had to cancel 15 days prior to renewal. The FTC has recently banned these types of billing practices and when I requested a refund they wouldn't do it.

**What problems is AdvisoryCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They didn't really solve any problems; they just want you to sign up and then make it ridiculously hard for you to cancel their account. I thought this idea had some merit being a business owner myself but realize they just built a bad product with a good idea and will do anything to get you to sign up and then make it extremely difficult to unsign up.

  ### 5. It is a luxury to have a team of Advisors

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oel A. | Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2022

**What do you like best about AdvisoryCloud?**

It was exciting and so helpful to see so many advisors interested in joining my board and providing experience and insights that can help my company, especially at this startup stage. I also found two individual VC's interested in investing

**What do you dislike about AdvisoryCloud?**

I wish I could have the advisors available 24/7, but that is too much to ask. I was told that internal communication is an update coming soon and I will reserve my comments till them because that will be a game changer

**What problems is AdvisoryCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crypto is definitely something very new, not just for me but for everyone, and I was pleasantly surprised to see so many advisors with so much knowledge in this new currency.
