No matter the input, bitrate, or format - Adobe Media Encoder supports it. Super easy interface, fast, and supports multi-core processors. No other video conversion software is better! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only downside is that you can only render one thing at a time, so if you are rendering something in Adobe Premiere it'll pause the rendering temporarily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Adobe's encoder doesn't have any such visible and active downsides. Just it must be compatible with many other 3rd party softwares as well. But it is absolutely cool tool to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Exporting directly from Premier Pro can have some pretty unforeseen challenges and often leave you without detailed progress information. Media Encoder is brilliant at speedy and informative video exporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is not much to dislike. It is by far the superior method of exporting in the Adobe ecosystem, and with the ability to stack multiple exports and track their progress, this is a win. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Adobe Media Encoder in all my After Effects projects. Render is fast and offers multiple output formats which makes it mandatory to use in any of the projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It works perfectly but Adobe could offer Media Encoder services alongside their other products. So it would not be necessary to buy a different product just to finish the render. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the most annoying thing in Adobe media encoder is that when you open it and want to render the first file it will take some time to read the link and make the queue available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Adobe Media Encoder allows you to encode multimedia files, especially video, in order to better manage them and save them in the most correct format. It can be used alone or combined with Adobe software, such as After Effects and Premiere Pro (but also Audition for audio files). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is probably underused, or used only for standard situations, such as correctly encoding a video for social media. Actually Adobe Media Encoder allows much more, even for a much more professional use. From this point of view it would be a good thing to advertise these functions in the best possible way and perhaps make the interface a little more user friendly. I love that I can continue working on my projects in Premier or After Effects while other videos are encoded and saved with Media Encoder. It doubled the pace of my previous workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike that when I need to edit a video already sent to Media Encoder, it adds a new video to the queue rather than updating the list, so I have to delete the older version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I truly enjoy how easy Adobe makes it for you to encode media. It is truly drag and drop and with so many encoding choices available, it is easy to output the correct file type and format for all kinds of projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the settings could be a bit more intuitive, it may be just me not knowing all the terminology, but there should be a basic and advanced mode. Clearly there are settings here that I will never use, so to be able to skip through a bit quicker would be ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
