"A Reliable Blend of Visual Layout Tools and Hands-on Coding."
What do you like best about Adobe Dreamweaver?

If you want to quickly mock up layout, the design view makes it easy to adjust elements without manually writing every line. When I need precision, I can switch to the code panel and fine-tune everything with syntax highlighting and auto-complete. The real-time preview is especially useful-I can test how a page responds without constantly refreshing in a separate browser. It's a smooth workspace for small websites, landing pages, or updating legacy projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Dreamweaver?

Some parts of the interface feel older compared to modern editors. The application can be heavy when working with multiple files, especially on mid-range machines. The design view doesn't always handle newer frameworks perfectly, so for React/Vue/Modern setups you still rely almost entirely on code. Extensions aren't as active as they used to be, so you don't get a large library of plugins like other editors have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The True All On One : Excellent and Responsive HTML/Css control"
What do you like best about Adobe Dreamweaver?

What I genuinely appreciate most is it's built-in site management system and integrated FTP/SFTP capabilities. Unlike modern editors where managing file connections and remote server details requires multiple extensions and manual setup, Dreamweaver allows me to define a complex site structure once, connect to the server securely, and then manage files uploads synchronisation, and versioning directly within the application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Dreamweaver?

As a subscription only product, the cost to value ratio is questionable if you do not actively use its visual design components. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Flexible Coding Workfspace That Bridge Design and Development"
What do you like best about Adobe Dreamweaver?

What I appreciate most about Dreamweaver is how it blends visual design with real code. You can write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a clean editor while instantly seeing how everything looks in real time. For quick prototypes or small site updates, It's incredibly efficient. The built-in code hints and auto-completion helps speed up routine tasks, and FTP/SFTP publishing makes it easy to push changes right from the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Dreamweaver?

Dreamweaver can feel heavy at times, especially on older machines. Some of the interface panels look a bit dated compared to more modern code editors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Split Screen and Seamless Integration Make Dreamweaver a Standout"
What do you like best about Adobe Dreamweaver?

My favorite thing about Dreamweaver is the Split screen functionality allowing me to view the HTMA coding and the live preview of the page while toggling between the two effortlessly. It's on the cloud and a part of my adobe bundle allowing me to easily use other tools at my disposal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Dreamweaver?

I wish there were more design templates to choose from, so I could easily find one suitable for any project I work on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Web Development with Room for AI Improvement"
What do you like best about Adobe Dreamweaver?

I find being able to code and see the finished product at the same time very helpful. The advanced search feature in Adobe Dreamweaver is a time saver, as it allows me to look for certain tags with specific attributes. Editing a table in full view is also helpful because working in code for tables can get messy quickly. Using the live view to edit a table and having it update the code instantly saves me time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Dreamweaver?

The AI features to help you code are lacking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Adobe Dreamweaver: My Honest Take After Using It"
What do you like best about Adobe Dreamweaver?

What I like best about Adobe Dreamweaver is how it gives me both a visual design view and a full code editor in one place. I can drag-and-drop elements when I want to move quickly, but I can also dive into the HTML, CSS, or JavaScript directly when I need precision. The real-time preview is a huge time-saver because I can instantly see how changes will look across different devices without constantly switching browsers. Its integrations with other Adobe Creative Cloud tools also make it easy to bring in assets from Photoshop or Illustrator without breaking my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Dreamweaver?

What I dislike about Adobe Dreamweaver is that it can feel heavy and resource-intensive, especially when working on larger projects — it’s not the fastest tool to load or run. Some of its features feel a bit dated compared to modern web development workflows that rely on lightweight code editors and build tools. While it’s beginner-friendly in some ways, the interface can still feel overwhelming at first because there are so many panels, menus, and settings to navigate. Also, the subscription cost can be hard to justify if you only use it occasionally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best website design software. Period."
What do you like best about Adobe Dreamweaver?

It is as easy to use as it gets. It is extremely intuitive to use and allows development of websites. It allows for all the new technologies to be used to build the websites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Dreamweaver?

The subscription model means that all have to pay more compared to the one time purchase. The biggest drawback is perhaps that it doesnt support newer platforms such as python yet, meaning a different tool needs to be used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
