I like Adobe Captivate's easy ability to plug in scripting and interaction into the platform. There's a strong connection with the Creative Cloud suite, especially Photoshop and After Effects, which I prefer. So, integrating my learning tools or any tools used to create learning is very useful to me. The biggest value is that it gives me the ability to make content that stands out for the learner, which is geared towards ROI or impact. I appreciate the use of creative cloud and Adobe tools to create impactful content and media, making a huge difference in connecting with learners. Also, the installation is very simple; we just provision the license, and users can activate it by logging in with their email. It's very, very simple. Learning to use this software is challenging. Adobe provides only video tutorials, which are poorly produced and ineffective for non-auditory learners. The narrators have distracting accents, and the content lacks clarity. The software itself is not user-friendly—basic tasks like deleting individual elements (e.g., a back arrow on a card slide) are unnecessarily difficult and often result in deleting the entire slide content. I have not found a way to remove just one element.

Additionally, the software does not allow you to embed videos from YouTube. Attempting to insert a video via copy and paste does not work either. These limitations significantly reduce its functionality. I do not recommend this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
