**What do you like best about TimeCamp?**

I love how functional and customizable it is. Tracking time is hard enough, but tracking in TimeCamp allows you to pretty much make it exactly the way you need it, the way it works best for you.

**What do you dislike about TimeCamp?**

There is only one thing I dislike about TimeCamp and that is that the AI feature can only create entries in 15 minute increments. However, TimeCamp itself can do any increment you need, the AI just can't predict it YET if it's a task that takes less than 15 minutes.

**What problems is TimeCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I track my time for billable hour purposes and TimeCamp allows me to track time and it assigns my computer usage to the time entries I have listed, so it makes it extremely easy to see what I have worked on (on my computer) that has not been assigned to a task. This has improved my time tracking and increased my billable hours by about 20%.

**What do you like best about TimeCamp?**

TimeCamp helps me keep track of the million things I do every day. I use the timer to track all the projects I’m working on, so I don’t forget anything when it’s time for billing. It’s super user-friendly, took only a couple of minutes to set up, and it covers all my needs. At this point, I don’t start any task without it.

**What do you dislike about TimeCamp?**

There’s really nothing I dislike about TimeCamp for how I use it. If I had to point to something, it would be that I’m not taking advantage of all the integrations that could probably be helpful. I mainly do this to keep costs down. I’d rather handle a few tasks manually than pay for integrations, since those fees can add up quickly.

**What problems is TimeCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being self-employed and always juggling multiple projects for multiple clients, it’s really easy to get distracted, lose track of what I worked on, and eventually forget hours that should be billed. TimeCamp offers helpful project and task lists, but my favorite feature is definitely the timer. With it running in the background, all my hours are neatly organized, and I don’t miss anything when I’m putting together my invoices.

**What do you like best about TimeCamp?**

At Contentation, we work across SEO, link building, content, client consulting and the continuous development of our own platform, so understanding where our team's time actually goes is very important.

What I like most about TimeCamp is that it turns time tracking into useful business data. We can see how much time is spent on individual clients, projects and internal activities, distinguish billable from non-billable work, and use that information to better evaluate profitability.

From my perspective as CRO, this is much more valuable than simply knowing how many hours someone worked. It helps us understand which projects require more resources than expected, where our processes can be improved and how we should estimate similar work in the future.

The reporting is also very useful. Instead of relying on assumptions, we can make decisions based on actual data. The value is very good for the price. TimeCamp saves us time on manual tracking and reporting, and the features we actually use feel practical rather than excessive. Overall, the cost is easy to justify compared to the time and effort it saves.

**What do you dislike about TimeCamp?**

There is not much I would change. The main thing is that getting the most value from TimeCamp requires a well-organized project structure from the beginning.

If you have many clients, services and internal initiatives, it is worth spending some time setting up projects and categories properly. Once that is done, however, the reporting becomes much more valuable and the day-to-day use is straightforward.

**What problems is TimeCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, the biggest problem TimeCamp solves is understanding the real cost of delivering our work.

Contentation operates in several areas – from link building and SEO services to content, consulting and development of our own technology platform. Without reliable time data, it is very easy to underestimate how much effort individual projects or activities actually require.

TimeCamp helps us compare the time invested with the value of a project, monitor billable and non-billable work, improve estimates and identify activities that consume more resources than expected.

It also gives us better data for planning team capacity and scaling the business. As the company grows and the number of projects increases, having this level of visibility becomes increasingly important.

For me, the biggest benefit is simple: better operational data leads to better business decisions.

TimeCamp’s UI/UX is intuitive and easy to navigate. The time-tracking interface makes it simple to start, stop, and review time entries without adding unnecessary steps to my workflow. I also appreciate how clearly the dashboard presents my tracked time and activity, making it easy to understand where my time is going and identify areas where I can work more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about TimeCamp?**

The interface and feature set feel better suited to medium and large organizations than to very small teams, where some options can feel more extensive than necessary. However, whenever I had an issue or needed clarification, the support team was quick and helpful, so this was not a major problem in practice.

**What problems is TimeCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a dietitian, TimeCamp helps me keep track of the time I spend on client consultations, meal plans, follow-ups, administrative work, and other tasks. It gives me a clearer picture of how I use my working hours and helps me understand which activities take the most time. This makes it easier to organize my schedule, improve productivity, and make sure my time is being used efficiently.

**What do you like best about TimeCamp?**

In travel, every day looks a little different. One minute we are checking a new destination, then talking to a client, preparing an offer, working with a creator, fixing something in a campaign or coordinating a publication with a travel blog.

When Love Travels was smaller, we could manage most of this more intuitively. Today we are definitely not a small travel agency anymore. We have grown into a medium-sized business and at some point we simply needed a better way to see where all those hours were going.

That is where TimeCamp started to make a lot of sense for us.

It showed us things that were difficult to notice before. How long does it really take to research a new destination? How much time goes into taking care of current clients? How much work is hidden behind marketing, content creation, cooperation with influencers, creators and travel websites?

And there is quite a lot hidden there.

Sometimes one article or campaign looks simple from the outside, but behind it you have emails, calls, briefs, corrections, graphics, approvals and coordination. TimeCamp helped us finally see the whole picture.

It also helped us organize the team better. We started noticing which tasks were taking too much time, where someone had too much on their plate and where we could simply change the way we work. For a growing company, that kind of visibility is really useful.

I also really like the AI app. Travel work is very fragmented, so remembering at the end of the day what you did at 10:15, 12:40 or 3:20 is not always realistic. The app works quietly in the background, prepares the entries and then you just review them. Much better than trying to rebuild your whole day from memory.

For me, this is probably the biggest advantage of TimeCamp: it does not feel like another administrative task. It helps us understand how we work and where we can make things smoother.

And in a travel business, where plans change all the time, that is actually pretty valuable.

**What do you dislike about TimeCamp?**

The initial setup and organizing projects into the right structure can take a little time. However, once everything is configured properly, the system works smoothly and requires very little maintenance.

**What problems is TimeCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TimeCamp helps us understand which activities take up the most time and where we can improve our workflow. It also makes project planning and cost estimation more accurate. As a business owner managing many projects and operational tasks, I now have much better visibility into how our working time is being used.

**What do you like best about TimeCamp?**

It captures all work online. Ideally I would be able to have it automated to file "time" into projects but I am still working to streamline this process. What I like best is being able to go back and recategorize as needed. I also love the AI feature but I can't afford to pay for it on top of the TimeCamp subscription. It is reliable and integrates well with my existing tech stack. There is not as much support but then I am a one-woman band...

**What do you dislike about TimeCamp?**

I am still having to go back and categorize time. I also find it not as user-friendly a setup as it could be. I am continually having to remember how to do a certain task rather than it being intuitive or visible on the dash.

**What problems is TimeCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to categorize time by project/client down to the websites I visit (I do a lot of research). I am also hoping that it will give me insight into how much time I actually spend doing certain tasks.

**What do you like best about TimeCamp?**

How easy it is to use and how easy it is to find specific projects, I really like that you can go between day, week and calendar. I think it is very well priced for all the features it offers. I have had a few small issues with the projects names not loading and the page needing a refresh but other than that I am really happy with it. I was initially using google calendar to track my jobs but timecamp is a much better option for me to track exact time so integrating my google calendar with timecamp initially was great but I no longer need to use google calendar.

**What do you dislike about TimeCamp?**

I don't like that I have to remember to stop tracking, I would like if there was a feature to automatically track jobs through the software and file name I am using,

**What problems is TimeCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Timecamp is helping me keep exact times for all jobs I work on throughout a day so I can accurately charge for jobs based on time spent, meaning it massively cuts down the time I send invoicing.

**What do you like best about TimeCamp?**

I like that TimeCamp provides all the notifications whether we are online or offline. It's really beneficial for managing my team as it gives proper login and logout times, showing how many hours they work. This feature is very helpful when I'm out of the workspace because it notifies me if someone has logged in or out. It's also great that we can capture work hours for the month, week, or even a day. Plus, the initial setup process is very easy, allowing us to log in and out within seconds. That's good.

**What do you dislike about TimeCamp?**

Sometimes TimeCamp doesn't show on my dashboard, and my team can't see it either. This causes problems as they think I am not able to use TimeCamp at the moment. There are no options to log in or log out during these times. Please improve this.

**What problems is TimeCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TimeCamp solves time tracking issues by showing the exact hours worked and provides notifications for logins and logouts. It helps manage my team’s work hours effectively, even when I'm out of the workspace.

As for the dashboard, that's not expected behaviour and we'd like to get to the bottom of it. A few quick checks: log out and back in, open TimeCamp in an incognito window, and clear the browser cache - that rules out cache and extension issues. If your team can't see you, an admin can confirm your account is active and assigned to the relevant projects, since project assignment controls who appears where. If it happens again, please send the date and time, your browser and version, and a screenshot to support@timecamp.com so we can reproduce it and fix it.

**What do you like best about TimeCamp?**

TimeCamp is helpful because it already has integrations with several apps that our company uses regularly. Being able to automatically add Google calendar events, Notion projects and tasks, or use a web extension to scan and track time to other popular sites has been incredibly helpful in our workflows. Both the mobile app and the web interface are easy to use and visually appealing. Generally, load times are quick and there isn't a lot of extra information to load, leading to a clean user experience. It has the best pricing out of all time tracking apps that we compared. Support has been helpful and felt personalized.

**What do you dislike about TimeCamp?**

My least favorite thing about TimeCamp is a lack of control in integrations. Integrations like Notion require manual refreshes, are sometimes slow to update, do not always bring information into TimeCamp menus correctly or update after a change is made in Notion, and it's difficult to understand how the database relations in Notion translate into TimeCamp. I use TimeCamp for its automatic tracking feature, which is available in the free version of the app. As an independent management consultant with ADHD, I don't always track my actitives as well as I should. I tend to bounce between tasks and forget that I need to track my time for each client individually. TimeCamp allows me to work the way I naturually work without stressing about losing track of time. I don't have to worry about "starting the clock," which I'll forget 90% of the time. Instead, my app and even tab-level  usage is tracked automatically in the background, and I can login to TimeCamp later and easily identify how much time I spent on different tasks for different clients. **What do you like best about TimeCamp?**

The fact that I can put all my clients on and add all the different task to each to know exactly what we worked on. The fact that I can enter a fee and it tells me when I am over is always very good ! There is so much the love. But think the fact that I can switch the bill or not to off is also fantastic ! In our work is happens a lot that it is a billable client but you made a mistake so you cannot bill the time but need to know how much time was spent on that. I always had a problem with my employees not submitting timesheets or only completing at end of month and then they thumb suck. No I can see everyday what they are working on, if they submitted and the prompt to submit every week is very helpful. Customer support was great every time I did not understand or needed help. Once I got little support it was also much easier to implement what I needed to achieve my end result. I use this every single working day and even keep better track of which days employees was on sick leave or annual leave as we are very small so not always that strict on paperwork to my own disadvantage so this has overall improved my goals and profit and even which clients was not worth keeping.

**What do you dislike about TimeCamp?**

Not much :)
The only improvement I would love is if you can pause and resume your timer as I still find the desktop app a bit annoying and double work but keep running because if I do forget to change my time when moving task or is unsure I can easily determine that with my computer activities but also does not track activity automatically if I not attend to ,It happens a lot that I am working on someone and someone calls me or I quickly need to get up and assist someone and then it is nice to just quickly pause for that few minutes and resume when I am done - now I have to make a whole new entry when I had to stop. as we work solely based on time based invoicing it is important to pause when I am not working on the client but not necessary to record the quick time away. So now I had to create a project for personal stuff or doing work but not something I will have to know for time spent on the client or attending to personal books.  But that is about the only thing that I would be able to change if I could. Sometimes takes more effort to book a new line with what I am doing and creating a time entry for pausing to do Admin than to pause and not keep record of that. There is probably a way via desktop app but would still prefer to do it all in on place to pause for walk in client or admin related stuff. with everything timecamp can actually report on it would be nice to enter data to see like in my profession what employees actually generate ( we work on a basic model of you need to book ( billable) three times your salary cost that I can invoice clients to be eligable to get increase or bonus. I can work this out manually but will be nice if it is calculating monthly without manual reports from my side. Will then also be able to very quickly see if it is worth giving commission on billable hours above certain target. For someone not invoicing directly out of app it would be nice if you I can indicate when someone was invoiced the same week for certain activities and time should not be included in total of period selected again or shows as invoiced but this is just a nice to have.

**What problems is TimeCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just to make sure that time is captured to bill clients correctly. Using other apps did not work so well and   not just as easy as time camp. This app solved a few problems I had all in one app! But to be able see exactly what is billable and what not makes my invoicing so much more effective. And the fact that we can time track even when it is not billable give you a very good idea on what is "wasting time", how much time is spent on mistakes  and what money is "lost" due to clients that have a fixed price monthly but in the end demand so much extra time. Normally I just kept tracked of what I wanted to bill because of ease of use with other apps or even doing it manually- but now it is so much easier to track everything because I do not just have to enter my billable clients and with one click can change billable hours or not.

The Xero integration imports your contacts as projects, and while you choose which revenue and expense accounts to connect, selecting individual contacts to import isn't currently supported. In the meantime, archiving the projects and clients you never invoice (available from Premium) removes them from your active lists while keeping the history intact. **What do you like best about TimeCamp?**

it is easy to use and setup and does not add overhead in the normal activity workflow. however it does great in tracking the activities by task and analyze the time spent on each task, project, client, and many more! graphic user interface is great which is a big plus for me.

the phone part of the interface is a little slower to use and less natural so I find more difficutl to track activities which are not at the computer

**What problems is TimeCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used it for more than 5 year in the free version, for tracking my activity from project to project, maintain focus, self assess how much time i need to complete tasks compared to prevision and bill customers accordingly. it is so easy to loose track of time with projects spanning on many months and different customers with different rates and pricings and discounts. And with automatic activity tracking I get as a bonus to track distractions too!

**What do you like best about TimeCamp?**

It assists me in recording the hours I have worked and logging my time. Also, the main thing I liked about Time Champ is I do not have to start it manually, as it starts automatically when I log in to my working system

- pc app timer updates once in five minutes - very misleading
- really hard to enter time manually in browser - jumps randomly to the other digits, jumps to other part of the day. Very confusing

**What do you like best about TimeCamp?**

Good basic, editable, reasonably priced time tracker program for somewhat disorganized individuals with a few clients. Not over-automated, leaves me in control of the program and its results. 

Seems to be kind of new, but recent improvements have been good. Improving rather than bloating.

**What do you dislike about TimeCamp?**

The program does have a bit of a learning curve, the company provided a free usage consultation that was very helpful. It took awhile for me to get used to using the program, but it has grown on me.

NoteJoy integration was only one-way, but it turned out that I didn't need that integration anyway.

**What problems is TimeCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of my "hours worked" and creating an invoice.

I like that fact that it syncs with Monday.com so that our data always matches and we can easily track time to our client projects from Monday using TimeCamp

There are already quite a few options available: reports can be filtered by date range, project, task, person, tag, note, and billable, unbillable, or invoiced status. TimeCamp also offers Summary, Detailed, By days, and Pivot Table reports, depending on how you want to analyze your data.

For more flexible reporting, the Pivot Table lets you customize rows and columns and group your data in different ways. We’ve also rebuilt the Detailed report and added adjustable column widths, so it’s easier to tailor the report to the information you need.

**What do you like best about TimeCamp?**

TimeCamp has been a game changer for my time tracking in all the different projects I work on. It's super easy to use and I really enjoy tracking my time in "calendar mode" where I very quickly can add the time I spent on each project or task. The reports are super useful for keeping track on how much time I've worked in my projects in a particular, week, month or year.

**What do you dislike about TimeCamp?**

It's sometimes easier to delete a time block and add a new one if I've filled in the wrong project instead of just updating the existing one. That could be improved.

**What problems is TimeCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't have a user friendly system in-house so without TimeCamp I logged my time in a spreadsheet that I had to create or update every month. Using TimeCamp is a game changer in that it's so easy to use and I can trust the reports - no human errors in miscalculating total times as happened a lot in my spreadsheets.
