Their customer support is outstanding and replies promply. **What do you dislike about SpyFu?** Adding a feature for AI (Riveria) to send alerts for bidding events and/or performance spikes would be a great value-add. **What problems is SpyFu solving and how is that benefiting you?** First, the tool greatly increases the value of our ad spend by identifying critical opportunities and/or new audiences to capture through paid ads, especially in areas where our competitors are focused, which helps us find better opportunities at a lower cost. While SpyFu does not give you nearly as much information and insight as Ahrefs and SEMrush (which are pricey). SpyFu is a great option for lower budgets. SpyFu is very user friendly and has a great dashboard display. It is great at giving you organic keywords that you can easily rank for and a great foundation for paid keywords. Another one of my favorite features of SpyFu is it makes it easy to compare yourself to competitors and learn from them. **What do you dislike about SpyFu?** One thing I wish SpyFu did better is their presentation of keyword information upfront. For example, both Ahrefs and SEMrush give you search volume, keyword difficulty, traffic potential, clicks, CPC, and parent topics. Upfront, SpyFu gives you search volume. It takes a few more clicks to get more data about the keyword. I find slightly frustrating. When doing a high level of keyword research, those clicks can take a lot of time. All in all, SpyFu is a great tool in my opinion if you're looking for a cheaper SEO tool. What really sets them apart is ease of use and pricing. We used other products like SEMrush for a lot of the functionality that Spyfu provides. The competitor tools may simply be the best in the game. The ability to track your competition easily and quickly can give any business or agency a huge leg up. The program is easy to use on a daily if not hourly basis. Customer support is quick to answer but also provide solutions. **What do you dislike about SpyFu?** Reporting isn't great for what current clients prefer so most of it can't be used. The issues are mostly aesthetic. The other issue is the accuracy of SEO clicks. With Google trying to push more people to paid ads, it has almost become cut throat. Just very easy to deal with and they are very fast at helping you out. I spoke to Danielle recently and was simply blown away by the no-nonsense, straight to resolving issue approach and very friendly. I love their tool for spying on competitors Google Ads, but the competitor I was searching wasn't running ads, so I needed to allocate my clients spend elsewhere. Anytime we want to get topic ideas for content, we use Spyfu. Anytime we want to know the type of language to use in our content, we use Spyfu. We also use their app for a lot of strategic planning and decision making (e.g. finding opportunities to sell our prospects, etc). Most importantly, the app is VERY affordable, compared to competitors. **What do you dislike about SpyFu?** The only downside is some of the domain analysis doesn't seem fully accurate. But it does seem directionally accurate. Once you get used to all the data that SpyFu presents and get used to the interface I like that they give you the data on one pane of glass. For example if you are looking up a keyword, on one screen you can get everything related to that keyword. This does make it easy since you don't have to go digging 5 levels deep or pull up reports. **What do you dislike about SpyFu?** There isn't anything that I dislike about SpyFu really but you have to invest the time to learn it. When I noticed that some of the reports and data did not apply to us I reached out to support where they told me it was not designed to be used like we were.
