RevolutionEHR is a cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) solution built specifically for optometry practices. RevolutionEHR includes a complete EHR, medical billing, patient scheduling, medical accounting and a picture archiving system. RevolutionEHR also offers a personal health record for patients, allowing them access to appointments, billing, prescriptions, and other important information. RevolutionEHR is 2014 ONC-ATCB certified and comes with a built-in FDA medication database. The practice management feature helps practices to manage scheduling, billing and accounting. The solution can also be used to handle claims submissions, store medical records and manage documents, among others. A personal health record portal for patients enables them to track appointments, build medication history, make payments, receive appointment reminders and send text messages to their doctors. RevolutionEHR is primarily suitable for small and midsize practices, corporate affiliates, multi-location practices, and specialty groups. Pricing is modeled with a one-time setup fee followed by a monthly subscription fee for each registered user.

I love using Revolution EHR because it is super easy to use! On top of that, if you have anyone new that isn’t familiar with optical, they have great training videos on how to use Rev. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about RevolutionEHR?

I have worked with several different EHR systems over the course for a decade. Revolution has by far been the best. It’s user friendly, customer service and support is great and it’s had an array of valuable features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RevolutionEHR?

I would receive error messages constantly while placing orders. It seems that the system has a few bugs that needed to be worked out Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is RevolutionEHR solving and how is that benefiting you?

Revolution has made intraoffice communications much simpler. Tasks are a great feature that help the office flow and allow the staff to stay on top of patient management. It was very easy to learn the program.

Just do it! It always has a great Imaging Integrator, where it can connect to your different devices in the practice to upload data and photos that are taken. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
