It's been great all around for us because it allowed us to streamline 3 or 4 different management programs into one. The main dashboard is really useful as it lets all of the project managers view, in real time, all the activities of any given job site at any given time. Additionally, the onboarding team did a great job, getting us going in just a week. **What do you dislike about Raken?** Time tracking still needs some work, and the integration with ComputerEase is definitely below par. The back-end work required to get the data out of Raken and into ComputerEase is frustrating. **What problems is Raken solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Raken to gather daily reports, photos, and RFIs in one hub, streamlining multiple management programs. We integrated it with our accounting software effortlessly, as we didn't have to do anything besides linking it. Everything uploaded by itself, simplifying the process. **What do you dislike about Raken?** The app has a lot of issues, with something new happening every day. The app doesn't work very well. The time tracking feature is problematic; the guys cannot always see the options to clock in. Sometimes the app doesn't work at all, they struggle to clock out, or the app freezes. We include pictures and data for them. **What do you dislike about Raken?** We’re unable to use the clock-in feature because it automatically clocks our workers out at midnight, which doesn’t work well for us since most of our projects take place during overnight third-shift hours. The customer service at Raken is top notch and they really listen to their customers needs. I asked to have a feature implemented and a few months later, Raken rolled out that feature to send notifications to administrators when check list are completed. Austin in the help center (now promoted to a higher position) is as good as they come. **What do you dislike about Raken?** I do not like that the foremen can rollover hours from the previous day. I wish there was a way to force them to put in the hours manually each time. They have a habit of just rolling over the hours and those hours are not accurate. I also do not like how the budgeting works. Its a little difficult to set up properly then the foremen do not understand how to input how much materteral was used that day. Moving to Raken was so simple compared to others, and checked all of our boxes. Their customer support has been exteremley helpful throughout every step of the way. We use it every day and love the functionality. Integration with our Spectrum software was simple and overnight!! **What do you dislike about Raken?** Some manager functions must be accessed via web brower. Not fully managable in the field in the app. **What problems is Raken solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are making it easier to access timesheets and how to navigate through the projects. It would be nice to have the vacation and sick labor codes added so we can add in Raken then sync to our software. ### 11. It's been great having various team members take daily notes and upload their photos. We've been able to go back in our records when needed and it's been a game changer. Love the daily logs and documents tabs. I also like that we've been able to give Raken Support our feedback and they roll out updates that take our suggestions into consideration. Work life feels a lot more organized since we integrated Raken into our daily routine. **What do you dislike about Raken?** The app has some glitches. But as mentioned, they're pretty good with fixing these things when the problem is brought to their attention. Example: would like to export employee certificates for a certain job, but it's exporting ALL certificates instead. I like some of the reports it can produce for larger scale analytics as well as the API access. **What do you dislike about Raken?** 1) Observation categories are limited and most of the time not applicable, these should be customizable. 2) Admins should be able to disable some features/ tools/ tabs for the general users. This allows each company to decide what they want users to do to keep it consistent across the company. 3) Checklists only show up on the daily report of the day they were signed, not the day they are dated. AKA they cannot be back-dated like work logs. 4) There is no easy way to determine how many unsigned daily reports there are for all projects. There needs to be a report of some kind that notes how many reports for each project are Missing, Unsigned, No Work Done, and Signed/ Completed. 5) The metrics should differentiate different work log names instead of lumping them in as one company. 6) Observations created in checklists do not link properly in the daily report. 7) Project summary reports need to be more customizable, include more options for what to output. 8) If survey data was extractable via API then checklists would not be needed for our purposes. 9) Uploading/ importing tasks via excel would make it easier to add bulk items **What problems is Raken solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Raken our company had a different method of creatig daily reports for every project we were on, no consistency at all. Now that we have Raken there is a method to the madness on the projects we've implemented it on. ### 17. My technicians use this every day to clock in and out as well as track the job status. **What do you dislike about Raken?** Not a fan of the budget for each project feature. **What problems is Raken solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time card tracking - Raken allows my technicians to clock in/out and I can get a hourly total while technicians are required to approve their own time cards. The core concept and current implementation provide a thorough tool for reporting on daily work. Helps us look professional and helps us drastically increase the consistency and quality of our communication within the company and to customers. **What do you dislike about Raken?** Often I may have to enter the same information, or create the same notes many times (e.g. entering the same number of hours for 50-100 pieces of equipment, or creating the same 15 notes detailing the work done in the same 15 apartments each day). I would like to see more tools to save a 'configuration' or mass edit many things at once. This could save precious minutes when I have many jobs, many work areas, and/or many pieces of equipment. Our company sends reports on every job every day, so, any boost to efficiency can have a large effect. **What problems is Raken solving and how is that benefiting you?** They have been in contact with our General Manager and have already helped us with customizing appearance and creating custom surveys and checklists. I have to go in and flip all the tiles then go back and click the ones I want to use. We oversee the work and report it daily for every project. This would include taking pictures, getting labor counts, and writing notes. Overall, the task would take roughly two hours to complete, from getting the information to finishing the report. With Raken, I am on the site, open the app, and in 15 to 20 minutes the entire project report is ready for printing. Easy. **What do you dislike about Raken?** I have not found anything yet. It is also helpful from a records standpoint. With Raken I am able to go back in time to verify what we did on a specific date. The customer support has also been very helpful. **What do you dislike about Raken?** While I love the ability to see pictures from the site, the viewer is limited. I dislike not being able to zoom in on the photo in the Raken window. Instead I have to download the photo and open up on my computer. This can be quite frustrating when there are multiple photos. Also, I would like to be able to print multiple daily logs at one time with a "Multi-select" feature. Right now I have to go through each day individually if I want the information in that format. **What problems is Raken solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has taken over our daily reports, toolbox talks, and all types of reports. I tend to use both the App and the Website every day. I input all my Work Logs through the website, and then throughout the day, while walking the site, I will use the App and take photos for each specific Work Log. Sometimes, I'll take pictures in the field without using the App, then add the images using the "Select Photo" option from my photo library. I am working with my General Superintendent to add some of our company's standard forms to Raken so we can do everything within this program, specifically Daily Safety Audits, Delivery Inspections, and Tool Box Talks. **What do you dislike about Raken?** I wish there were an option for including more detailed weather reporting. I often have to go on a different weather website with an hourly forecast with the radar to log any weather events. The abundance of reports & job tracking abilities is great. They have reasonable pricing options unless you want a certain module (like toolbox talks), then you're forced to have a bunch of sluff you do not use, to get 1 feature, instead of breaking it down ala-cart. **What do you dislike about Raken?** What drives me and my employees bonkers is how often they change the format for both the office and the field users. We constantly waste time trying to find a feature that was there a week ago and it's gone. Or the path of access has changed. Lastly, which has me seeking another option for our business is how they eliminate a report or simple summary of hours for a specific period that I've been billing clients with for months. It's like having to change my entire billing format because they randomly delete a summary report without replacing it with a new summary report. The changes that do not improve the usage are both annoying and stupid in my opinion!
