When I have multiple files open on my screen and a file gets dragged across the screen, I would like for that 'drag file to upload' to not show up when my intention is to not upload a file. Makes it harder to requote. My least favorite is the Tasks vs. notes. In Evolution, you would make a memo that was indelible, but then you could set out a "task" for it. Much more streamlined. With catalyst, it is more apt to error with some agents making a note, and others making a memo to follow something. Previously, I could run several reports at once, and now I have to do one at a time. I would also like more functions in the commission percentage options depending on the line of business and the coverages in personal auto companies, as the policies are paid at different percentages. I love that there are tabs for each customer shell, so we can click through the customer info, the policy info, the notes, the files, etc. It allows for really clear organization of each customer's information and enables various agents to work with clients from different locations, making notes about what we've done. This way, a customer can call in or email us, and I can look in their QQ shell to see exactly what another agent in another location did the last time they interacted with this customer. **What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?** I wish that the reporting was better. I wish that I could create more - and better - reports. I know a lot about databases and I know how to create reports and get exactly what I need out of databases - so it's a little frustrating to me to know that the information exists in QQCatalyst, and not be able to pull it out. I also wish that there were a better way to track payments and a better way to sync emails with QQCatalyst. It is very clunky and awkward to bring emails into QQCatalyst and I wish it was smoother and easier. The integration between QQCatalyst and PL Rater could be better. Right now to bring customer information over, the customer has to have an existing policy. I wish we could bridge customer info to PL for a new policy without entering information twice. Also, I wish home & auto could be bridged together at the same time into PL Rater for a bundle quote. **What problems is QQCatalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use QQCatalyst to store and manage all my insurance customers and their policies. Easy to navigate and manage. Its a big step up from what we did have previously and what I had worked with in the past. We had hired a 3rd party consultant at the recomendation of Verifore and it was not helpful. Resulting in big bills and still a lot of work on our end. We did have to have a dedicated team member to manage this. We did run into an odd, frustrating issue but we appreciate that our support team was able to help us overcome it. Terms are excessively filled with legalese not in step with the staffing challenges in the US. If the software was good, you would not require annual contracts to add a seat and you'd provide the ability of agencies to flex to their staffing needs. The handcuffs are outdated. Any software company that needs to lock you in should reevaluate their business practices and determine what they need to do for clients to want to stay.
