**What do you like best about QQCatalyst?**

I like how smart the system is! The customers' policy info downloads automatically every policy term and we can go in and see what coverages they have without having to go to the carrier website every single time! 2 factor authentication and constant password changes have made that a very long process. When I'm on the phone with the customer, I can't wait 20 minutes to change my password or receive an email - enter code - now you're verified - proceed to re-logging in. Takes too long. It's nice to be able to provide them with accurate information about their policies in real-time with no delay.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

the system feels a little old? every carrier has re-done their website 3 times since QQ. Not saying change is a good thing, usually that makes it worse. Everything is there where it's supposed to be. It works.

**What problems is QQCatalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I'm on the phone with the customer, It's nice to be able to provide them with accurate information about their policies in real-time with no delay. I can pull up who I'm talking to and have instant information about their policies and the tasks we did for them dated in notes

**What do you like best about QQCatalyst?**

I use QQCatalyst within my insurance agency, and I love how it provides a safe and confident space to store client information, allowing us to track all policy changes, renewals, and claims easily. It helps us stay organized and on top of all our clients' active policies. I appreciate being able to generate Acord forms requested by carriers, which saves us time. One of the things I like most is how it allows me to quickly see a brief rundown of my client's policies, which is very helpful, especially when I'm on the phone with a client. The initial setup was very easy, thanks to the internal help and support provided.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

I run into issues with the mailroom. That being not always showing consistency on incoming or outgoing threads like the connection breaks. It is run into every so often. So, right now I am handling my coworker's QQ mailroom as she is out on maternity leave, and when I go to their 'Sent Mail' folder, nothing appears. But, they are receiving incoming emails to the inbox.

I use QQCatalyst to organize and track clients' policies, renewals, and claims, saving time with Acord forms. It also provides a quick overview of client policies, essential during calls.

I like how simple the platform is to use, and I like the cost. Cost was significantly less than our previous AMS and also was a much more modern interface.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

I think some of the newer features still have some bugs that need to be worked out. It was somewhat of a difficult initial setup but the vast majority of AMS transitions are.

**Recommendations to others considering QQCatalyst:**

While Vertafore support leaves something to be desired, for the price, I don't think you can do much better than QQ Catalyst.

I use QQCatalyst to easily contact clients and manage their policies, which simplifies our agency operations and workflows.

I use QQCatalyst as our agency management system, and it really helps us by centralizing client and policy information. It makes it easy to manage documents, track renewals, and stay organized. I also like the task management and activity tracking features, which help improve our efficiency and support our daily operations. The initial setup was easy and straightforward, and the support provided during onboarding helped make the transition smooth.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

QQCatalyst works well, but it could be faster and more user-friendly, and have a more modern interface. I would like a more modern dashboard with customizable widgets, so users can quickly see renewals and tasks. A faster global search with better filtering options to quickly locate clients, policies, or documents would also be helpful.

QQCatalyst centralizes client and policy information, making it easy to manage documents, track renewals, and stay organized. I also like the task management and activity tracking features, which help improve our efficiency and support our daily operations.

**What do you like best about QQCatalyst?**

QQ Catalyst has one of the best technical service teams around.  They are prompt, knowledgeable and always go above and beyond to educate as well as fix the issue.  They are by far the best thing about QQ Catalyst

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

Not an agency friendly contract.  Terms are excessively filled with legalese not in step with the staffing challenges in the US.  If the software was good, you would not require annual contracts to add a seat and you'd provide the ability of agencies to flex to their staffing needs.  The handcuffs are outdated.  Any software company that needs to lock you in should reevaluate their business practices and determine what they need to do for clients to want to stay.  Rather than clients staying as a last resort.

**What problems is QQCatalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Haven't seen much in regard to this.  The system functions but nothing wows me.  Would be good if they were more transparent with enhancements and what they are working on

**What do you like best about QQCatalyst?**

It helps me to have all my insurance clients' records organized, what I really like about QQCatalyst is that I have all the files in one place. The best thing for me is being able to communicate with my clients via message from the platform and receive the documents right there. The initial installation of QQCatalyst was super fast and I love being able to take notes within the same system, have an account for each worker, and manage the permissions each one has.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

Maybe I would change the format a bit to something newer, like a more current model.

**What problems is QQCatalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me keep all my clients' files organized, with all the documents in one place. The best part is being able to communicate and receive documents from the platform, as well as being able to save notes for each client and have a history of all the policies.

**What do you like best about QQCatalyst?**

I like how streamlined everything is, and how quickly I can find customer information. I also like the onboarding feature because it saves time. Overall, the performance is fast, even when the system is under a heavy load.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

I spend way too much time entering information into the system. It’s hard to correct mistakes during data entry, especially when someone accidentally creates multiple entries for the same contact. I wish more companies offered onboarding, or that there were a way to upload the policy and have QQ automatically populate the information in the policy section. I haven’t used the AI option and honestly didn’t realize there was one. I’d like more information on how it will be integrated into the system.

With regard to commercial renewals and keeping track of dates, QQ makes it easy to see who is due when and for which policies.

Everything that QQ has to offer so far has been a great tool for our agency. It’s easy to navigate, very user-friendly, and the support has been amazing.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

Sometimes I dislike it when new updates are released. Things get moved around and sometimes with abusy day I can't review the changes to learn more about them.

**What problems is QQCatalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it has been helping sending email and COI directly from the platform. I like that I can integrate the files, and the performance is super quick , specially when sending email with files. I am not aware of the cost because it is handle by the agency owner and I habe no access to it, but over all I think pricing is good since we are using the systme for quite sometime now. I have not seen any AI on this platform.

The performance with the ability for it to store notes for years so that we can review if there is a potential error or to make sure we processed everything correctly from our end.

I wish it integrated text to insureds directly from their QQ page so that we can keep them updated. It also doesn't pull the correct agents info for who wrote a policy or the breakdown of different % of commission if there are bundles vs monoline. Would make tracking smoother

I like the speed of consulting information and being able to access all my clients' information from a single platform. By using QQCatalyst, I can access my client's account and see detailed information about their policy, start date, coverages, endorsements, payments, or follow-up notes. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, user-friendly, and the step-by-step guide helps you navigate the system.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

Sometimes the system unexpectedly shuts down on me, or when I am sending an email with a COI, it cannot be sent due to some error in the system.

**What problems is QQCatalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use QQCatalyst to manage customer accounts. It helps me avoid problems by organizing the information. The speed for retrieving data is excellent, but sometimes the system unexpectedly shuts down or there are errors when sending emails with a COI.

The interface is generally easy to navigate, and the cloud-based design allows users to access information from virtually anywhere. I also liked the ability to track customer interactions, manage renewals, and automate routine tasks, which can improve efficiency and help agencies stay organized.

Another advantage is its integration with other Vertafore products and insurance carrier systems, making it easier to manage policies and client information in one place. The reporting features provide useful insights into agency performance, sales activity, and customer retention.

On the downside, some users may find the system has a learning curve when first implementing it, especially if they are transitioning from another agency management platform. Customization options can also be somewhat limited compared to larger enterprise CRM systems.

As someone who has used QQCatalyst for over four years, both as a user and now as an agency owner, I appreciate how comprehensive it is. It enables my team to manage both personal and commercial lines efficiently, and I appreciate the way it keeps client information organized and easily accessible. It's user-friendly once you understand its layout! The report-building feature is also useful for tracking renewals, pending tasks, and sales.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

Some parts of the system feel a bit outdated or "old school" in terms of layout and navigation. There’s a learning curve when training new employees, and certain functions (like document organization) could be more modern or intuitive. I’ve never used another AMS to compare directly, but I do feel that while QQ gets the job done, there’s room for improvement.

QQCatalyst helps streamline my agency’s daily operations by keeping client data, policies, and documents centralized and accessible. So much easier to use than our previous AMS. It's pretty straightforward and the integration with Agency Zoom is perfect. Vertafore's support is one of the best in the insurance industry across the board. I wish it were a bit cheaper like everything; I hope this last price increase was the last one for a while. Reporting features and email tools are not my favorite. They could be easily fixed.

Integration with Agency Zoom and the ability to build ACORD/COIs easily are what we like. Housing all of our customer files and easily downloading emails into their file as well.

What I like best about QQCatalyst is its ease of use and smooth implementation. It’s simple to navigate, didn’t take long to get comfortable with, and we use it every day without issues. It offers the right number of features without feeling overwhelming, integrates well with other platforms, and customer support has been reliable whenever we’ve needed assistance. Overall, it keeps our client and policy management organized and efficient.

One downside of QQCatalyst is that some processes can feel a bit manual and time-consuming, especially when it comes to updating records or running certain reports. At times, the system can be slightly slow, and customizing reports or workflows isn’t always as flexible as I’d like. While it has strong core features, there’s definitely room for improvement in automation and overall speed.

QQCatalyst is solving the problem of disorganized client and policy management. Instead of tracking information across spreadsheets, emails, and different systems, everything is centralized in one place.

It helps streamline daily workflows by keeping client details, policy information, documents, and activities organized and easy to access. This reduces errors, saves time, and improves follow-ups.

Overall, it benefits us by increasing efficiency, improving team collaboration, and making it easier to manage a high volume of accounts without things slipping through the cracks.

It has pre-populated forms based on information input to a policy.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

QQ’s UI feels outdated, and there’s a lack of customizability across invoicing, policy proposals, and tasks. I also wish there were a way to create task templates. It often takes a long time for items to populate (for example, customer search). Invoices are assigned a number, but you can’t search by that number. Another frustration is not being able to see an entire file title because you can’t adjust the width of the fields for files under Customers. Overall, it has the potential to be great, but right now it only does the bare minimum.

It helps keep our customers and files organized.

**What do you like best about QQCatalyst?**

I like the ease of use with QQCatalyst; it allows us to train employees fairly quickly. QQCatalyst met our need for something less complex and more efficient to use. We are able to use the reports better, as the reporting system and the dashboard with widget are better. Also, it connected with Ivans better than what we were using before. The initial setup was pretty easy too.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

There are a few areas that I would like to see improved. For instance, integrations with some other VoIP software would be nice. It's not just one VoIP, Twilio. So we could connect our own VoIP to it through RingCentral. I would like to see the ability to add sub folders with in folders as well. for example Auto  (auto support docs inside a folder and auto application inside).

**What problems is QQCatalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QQCatalyst centralizes our clients and their documents into one database. It's easy to use, helps us train employees quickly, offers better reports, and improves efficiency with fewer layers and better Ivan's integration.

**What do you like best about QQCatalyst?**

I really like the ease of doing business with QQCatalyst. It's easy to sign in and access any of my documents, and the more information I put in at the beginning, the easier the system is to use. When I'm doing Accords, whether it's the Accord applications or my certificates, it grabs the information from what I put in, which is super convenient because I don't have to input it repetitively later. The onboarding process was great too, thanks to Noah, who was extremely available and helpful in guiding me through the setup, making everything straightforward. The support was prompt and effective, which made things much easier.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

The only thing I'm missing in QQCatalyst is probably the finance portion. It would be really nice to invoice directly from QQCatalyst instead of going to QuickBooks. It'd also be great to note payments and commissions received for easy reporting. It might be a lack of education on my part, and I should look into it more. But to my knowledge, the finance part is the hardest for me since I have to use QuickBooks alongside QQCatalyst because it can't do what I need it to do.

**What problems is QQCatalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use QQCatalyst to store all my insurance information in one place, avoiding email searches and PDF fillers, and manage certificates and policy renewals efficiently.

I like the ease of operation of QQCatalyst, as it allows me to adopt it quickly, reduce the learning curve, and gain efficiency from day one. I also appreciate that it is constantly updated, which keeps me up to date with improvements and regulatory changes effortlessly.

I think the report selections could be improved. There should be more variety or they should give the option to customize the reports one needs.

I find QQCatalyst very easy to use, which is great for learning more about the product every day and also makes it simple to teach new employees how to use it. Integrating it with our email and texting works very well, ensuring consistency in the customer's profile with communications. It's valuable because all emails and text messages are directly tied to the customer's profile, providing all of the information we need when speaking to the customer. Onboarding new agents has gone smoothly because the current agents demonstrate live functionality, making on-the-job training very effective. New agents acclimate to using QQCatalyst pretty quickly.

I would like QQCatalyst to prompt the insurance agent if they want to leave a note in a customer's profile. Often, the insurance agent accesses the profile, reviews information, but they forget to enter their notes. If there was a prompt, that would be extremely beneficial.

QQCatalyst helps keep everything in one place, which is probably the best part. I can quickly find customer information, policy details, documents, notes, and prior activity without having to search all over the place like it’s a government treasure hunt.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

I do not like the new reporting process because it requires too many steps and takes too much time. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the previous report process, and the new process feels less efficient. The download link opens on a separate page, and when multiple reports are downloaded, the list only shows the date and time instead of identifying each report, which makes it confusing and inefficient.

I also dislike how often the system slows down or takes a long time to load, even with fast internet. The overall layout and appearance also feels very outdated. If I had been employed with my agency before Catalyst was chosen, the outdated appearance alone would have made me hesitant to choose it. For what agencies pay for this software, I believe it should be more modern, reliable, efficient, and user-friendly.

Overall, the entire system needs to be updated to better compete with other software options. Honestly, if I were Vertafore, I would consider combining the best features of QQCatalyst and AMS360 into one stronger CRM platform while keeping the price within an affordable median range. I believe that would make the system more appealing and could attract many more customers.

**What problems is QQCatalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At this time, I cannot say that I have noticed QQCatalyst solving many new problems in a meaningful way. The system does help keep client information, policy details, documents, notes, and activity history in one place, which is beneficial for daily agency operations. However, many of the recent updates feel more like basic improvements that should have already been part of the system rather than true solutions to current agency workflow problems.

For example, one recent update stated that “email setup options have been refreshed with up-to-date email providers.” While that may be useful, in 2026, having current email provider options should be a standard feature, not something that feels like a major improvement. Updates like that seem more overdue than innovative.

The areas that would benefit our agency most are faster system performance, a more modern layout, fewer steps for reporting, better organization of downloads, and a more efficient overall workflow.

Overall, QQCatalyst does provide a central place to manage customer and policy information, but I would like to see updates that solve actual day-to-day problems for agency users instead of changes that feel routine, overdue, or behind compared to other software options.

When I am working on filling out an acord, it would be nice to still have access to their QQ profile to pull up info. Having to save it over and over to use QQ, especially if I get a call in the middle of working on an Acord is cumbersome. QQ is very user-friendly, and everything is in one place. My favorite part is the texting feature. I also really like the ability to add logos, and the email feature is great as well. Reports are easy to run, and you can create your own.

After using the system for several years, learning how to navigate it better, and seeing some much-needed updates, I can’t say there’s anything I dislike about it. The only thing I’d like to see improved is the policy information you have to enter. For example, with Mobile Home policies there are only a few coverage options, and for Farm and Ranch and cattle grazing I’d like to be able to set them up more like General Liability policies. That way, I could create a COI without having to re-enter the information every time or choose another line of business.

We moved back to QQCatalyst and compared to the other system, QQ is so easy to manipulate, edit information fields, add users, delete unwanted info, and add policy files. The interface is self explanatory and clear. It might look a little outdated, but I'm tired of trying to figure out where things are when using a super simplified menu.

The reporting feature has decreased in ease of use. Previously, the pop-up window for creating a report would remain open even after the report downloaded to my computer, allowing me to view the report and make minor adjustments to the report criteria (such as date range or producer). Now, the pop-up window disappears, requiring me to input every custom criteria over and over. It is truly several steps back in my opinion.

The biggest issue with QQCatalyst, in my experience, is the system alerts—specifically the reminders. A reminder pops up once, and if you don’t manually reset the reminder date, it won’t remind you again. That makes it easy to miss tasks, so I end up using a different system to manage open tasks because of this. It would be great if there were an option to set up recurring reminders.

I like how QQCatalyst acts like a filing cabinet for all our customers, without the need for physical papers. I appreciate being able to put all notes, emails, and files in one place. Another thing I enjoy is the integration with PL Rater, which allows QQCatalyst to easily bridge over. If we're requoting a customer, we can just click on the bridge button in QQCatalyst and it will automatically requote the customer. The initial setup was pretty easy, actually easier than previous switches from other software.

I wish there was complete 2-way communication between QQCatalyst and Agency Zoom. If we save something like a note to Agency Zoom and sync with QQ, it saves in QQ, but files do not. Also, if we make a note in QQ, it does not sync with Agency Zoom.

The system is simple, navigation is easy, and if there's ever a problem, the team is super easy to get a hold of. I've worked in agencies with other management systems, and QQCatalyst is by far my favorite because they are so much more user-friendly. Texting from the agency is one of my favorites, and I like the emails we can send. I also commonly pull reports with ease. The initial setup was very easy.

I find it very streamlined and user-friendly. I used it at my previous agency, and when I moved to a new one, I had them implement the system there as well.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

The only thing I don’t like about QQ is that I can’t seem to get the commissions to calculate correctly. Some carriers offer different percentages based on package deals and similar arrangements, so I’m constantly having to go back in and manually enter corrections.

It helps me keep everything neat and organized. I find it detailed and easy to follow, which makes it simple to stay on track. You really can’t beat the price, and having a support line available with this system is a big plus.

I like the reports and notifications from QQCatalyst, as they make work easier by allowing the use of features like expired policies for calls and working on renewals. Additionally, it helps me adjust renewals to know the percentage of premium opportunities. I also found that the initial setup of QQCatalyst was very easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

Sometimes it doesn't let me send emails, it only lets me send text messages to clients. I would like all registered emails to be used for sending payment and renewal reminders.

I use QQCatalyst as my main database. The reports and notifications make my work easier by helping me with policies that are about to expire and renewal adjustments, improving my ability to manage renewals and adjust premiums.

**What do you like best about QQCatalyst?**

All of my agents find QQCatalyst to be very user-friendly, and they feel a lot of comfort in using the system. It allows productivity to be at its max because the system is user-friendly, enabling my agents to help customers efficiently. Furthermore, the tool helps by reducing the waiting time for customer calls. One feature that the agents particularly like is the sticky notes function, which pops up to show who was working on a task and the last notes on it, contributing to a more diverse experience.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

QQCatalyst doesn't provide the top-tier reports that I need, especially for accounting. It is not accounting-ready or production-ready for the volume of clients we service. The key issue is with the reports; we're unable to see our production and revenue accurately. There's a lot of duplicate data in the system, which affects accuracy. When carriers download statements, the system shows it as a new policy instead of a rewrite.

I find QQCatalyst very convenient and easy to use. I like that it helps in saving files and details for clients, including personal information and sticky notes. It keeps information organized so I don't have to save it to my desktop or in random files on my computer. Everything is within QQCatalyst, making it organized and more modern.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

I guess the way that when a file randomly gets dragged over QQCatalyst (even if I don't want to save that file), the entire screen will show 'upload file' and I will have to drag a random file for that to disappear then delete it. It's more of an annoyance. Maybe fix that. When I have multiple files open on my screen and a file gets dragged across the screen, I would like for that 'drag file to upload' to not show up when my intention is to not upload a file. The initial setup was not easy; it was very disorganized years ago, but it has become more modern and convenient now.

QQCatalyst helps me keep information organized without needing to save files on my desktop. It stores client details and notes conveniently.

QQ Catalyst does not integrate with the AgencyZoom Text service. 
Customer's with MANY locations and 1 policy are harder to manage with Acords and Billing.

Like being able to have multiple locations for customers addresses and search policies based on location.

**What do you dislike about QQCatalyst?**

When a policy has lapsed, you can no longer use "view drivers" or Vehicles because policy is inactive. Makes it harder to requote. My least favorite is the Tasks vs. notes. In Evolution, you would make a memo that was indelible, but then you could set out a "task" for it. Much more streamlined. With catalyst, it is more apt to error with some agents making a note, and others making a memo to follow something. It should be just one with the check box to set a reminder date.

**What problems is QQCatalyst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Love that we can Text our customers, it has really solved being able to communicate with them.

I use QQCatalyst as a management system, and it helps manage my clients all in one spot, which is fantastic. It integrates well with different platforms, and their Orange partners are good. I really appreciate the customer service; they are pretty good at getting on and helping out, so I haven't had any real issues. Also, I would definitely tell people to take a look at it, rating it in the eight to nine range.

I don't use the renewal part of their platform or any type of metrics or analytics through them. I use third-party companies that integrate with them.
