I like how organized it is and how much time it saves me when I'm reconciling accounts. I really enjoy the new feature where it shows the commissions percent or amount next to the commissions being paid out to producers. I also like the update where when I reconcile commissions, there is a review page and it's listed in order of the accounts I reconciled amounts to. So that way, if there is an error, it's WAY faster to find and I can cross-reference it and go down the list instead of before where finding an error was extremely time-consuming. I also like that it connects to IVANS for the downloads and it helps keep the system up to date. It comes with all the information I need to make it easier to figure out when there is a discrepancy between what we have in QQ and what came in from the company through IVANS. I've also had no issues when reconciling large amounts, the end total always matches what we have on the report and I haven't experienced calculation mistakes so far. The downsides are that many times when an update or upgrade is made to improve certain features, it also creates a ripple effect of creating new issues that I was not experiencing before. For example, before I could edit the commissionable amount through the reconciliation page to zero out, but now if I do that, it will zero out temporarily but when I go back in, it shows a balance due. The only way to fix that is to change the base premium but that's very inconvenient as sometimes I'm not able to do that with certain policies that have cancelled or is not allowed for whatever the reasons. Also, recently, it has been creating double entries for commission amounts due and it didn't use to do that. Another thing is expired policies will not show commissions due if there was not already a balance due prior so having to navigate around that is not pleasant. I also wish there was a save and continue later when reconciling things because there is no option other than to complete it and go back in to "edit" but what it does is it voids it and creates a whole new one. Also, the edoc feature needs some improvement. It's very particular about name matching and because of that, sometimes it won't pop any matches at all and we have to delete the edoc that came in. QQCatalyst experiences glitches often and it creates loading delays or errors. If that can be worked on to reduce the amount of times it glitches, that would be great. I would like a more modern dashboard with customizable widgets, so users can quickly see renewals and tasks. I love how QQCatalyst allows me to view all client information on one screen with quick access. I find it easy to navigate the site, making it straightforward to move around. I can easily search for clients by clicking on contacts or by using the search feature. One thing I dislike about QQCatalyst is that it can feel a little cumbersome and not as intuitive as I would like. It sometimes takes too many steps to find or update the information I need, and I wish the navigation and workflow were more streamlined. I find it problematic that when using QQCatalyst for Acord Forms, it doesn't allow you to attach endorsements. It would really help if there was a way to do a certificate, like an Acord 25, and have an option to attach special endorsements, such as a CG 20 10, along with it. I like how smart the system is! The customers' policy info downloads automatically every policy term and we can go in and see what coverages they have without having to go to the carrier website every single time! 2 factor authentication and constant password changes have made that a very long process. When I'm on the phone with the customer, I can't wait 20 minutes to change my password or receive an email - enter code - now you're verified - proceed to re-logging in. Takes too long. I run into issues with the mailroom. That being not always showing consistency on incoming or outgoing threads like the connection breaks. It is run into every so often. So, right now I am handling my coworker's QQ mailroom as she is out on maternity leave, and when I go to their 'Sent Mail' folder, nothing appears.
