Their customer support has been incredibly helpful. **What do you dislike about PlaybookUX?** PlaybookUX could consider creating in-tool charts for post-study analysis, like customer sentiment analysis. **What problems is PlaybookUX solving and how is that benefiting you?** PlaybookUX helped gather feedback on our mobile app prototype. We are able to quickly create our tests and surveys and then easily send them out to our users. Recorded feedback and detailed reporting make it easy to understand where things are working or aren't working. We've used this for a number of projects and initiatives and have been able to make excellent progress in improving our site for our users. The value for what you get vs. how much it is, is really one of the other great benefits, we can pay-as-you-go or sign up for more advanced plans once you really get going. **What do you dislike about PlaybookUX?** Nothing really jumps out, but possibly some more analytic details for the test would be nice, or a way to compare to previous tests. An initial overview of how to use the platform when you first sign-in would be nice as a way to expedite onboarding. **What problems is PlaybookUX solving and how is that benefiting you?** PlaybookUX is providing a central location for us to easily perform all our user research testing. We can quickly spin up new tests, new surveys and anything else we need to get feedback from real users before we start the final design and development process. ### 3. The platform also pays on time and has never failed to compensate me even when a researcher has not shown up for a live interview. They have a variety of tests from testing websites, tree tests, and live conversations. I highly recommend PlaybookUX. **What do you dislike about PlaybookUX?** Some of the tests don't have working prototype links and so it's hard to communicate with the researcher that this is occurring on their tests. I hope to see in the future a way to be able to message researchers more easily when this occurs. **What problems is PlaybookUX solving and how is that benefiting you?** PlaybookUX is helping make the web a friendlier space. They are also helping companies improve products by gathering user feedback from many participants. I really like this platform and highly recommend it. ### 4. Not a lot of UX platforms allows access to all of these functionalities and it's quite useful as an all-in-one tool. **What do you dislike about PlaybookUX?** It's been an extremely frustrating experience using Playbook as they have a LOT of bugs and it's felt like we are both the client and QA team for this platform. Although customer support gets back to you fairly quickly, the number of back and forths I've had to have regarding issues on projects was too much. The integrity of the recruitment panel has also come into question as we've been running into an unusually high number of fake profiles, even for moderated interviews. Also, for a UX platform, it doesn't seem like they really considered the user experience much, and it's a very frictional website to use. **What problems is PlaybookUX solving and how is that benefiting you?** If all functionalities ran smoothly, it's a great tool that has a lot of UX tools lumped into one platform. But unfortunately there's way too many issues for me to recommend it to others. ### 5. I love that I can conduct both qual & quant research. I've used tons of competitors for usability testing and PlaybookUX is the best I've used - it has every feature needed to quickly conduct and analyze. **What do you dislike about PlaybookUX?** I wish they supported survey testing (i.e. sending a survey to their panel of participants). Since PlaybookUX is my research repository, it's cumbersome to conduct, store and analyze surveys, click testing and heatmaps in another tool. **What problems is PlaybookUX solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use PlaybookUX to conduct unmoderated, live conversations and information architecture (tree test/card sort) studies. We used to conduct those studies across 3 different tools so it's been a huge timesaver to consolidate testing to one tool. It's rare to find a tool that conducts research that also acts as a repository! ### 10. We can bring our own customers as well. **What do you dislike about PlaybookUX?** Would love highlight reels, but that's on their roadmap for Nov 2019 so looking forward to using that feature to show management clips. **Recommendations to others considering PlaybookUX:** Use PlaybookUX to get in touch with your user - both from user testing and moderated studies. Invite the full team so they can collaborate on their program. Take advantage of the unlimited seats! **What problems is PlaybookUX solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were able connect with niche demographics from both the US and Austria / Germany. It's an all in one tool, so we don't need to manually transcribe anymore. Notes / collaboration is a huge plus. We are able to get buy in from all different parties across our company and quickly implement feedback into our agile process. Hearing from our customers and potential customers is wonderful. They actually get back within minutes. **What problems is PlaybookUX solving and how is that benefiting you?** I've performed countless unmoderated sessions and also a few moderated sessions. I could filter on Job Title, Seniority, and Industry which was very important for me since I work with a lot of B2B companies who have a hard time doing user research. **What do you dislike about PlaybookUX?** I would have said that they don't allow you to recruit your own participants but I heard they just released that feature so I am going to try that out soon. **Recommendations to others considering PlaybookUX:** PlaybookUX is great for freelancers and agency's because it's pay as you go which allows you to get feedback without committing to a massive contract. **What problems is PlaybookUX solving and how is that benefiting you?** I want to speak to my target demographic to create personas and get feedback on prototypes. I'm not overwhelmed with jargon. Our first video was received within an hour and the study filled in a day! Awesome high quality testers. **What do you dislike about PlaybookUX?** I can't really think of anything! I was looking for a more direct way to share videos with co-workers instead of having to download them to my desktop. **Recommendations to others considering PlaybookUX:** Test your prototype early and often and you'll get buy-in with managers. **What problems is PlaybookUX solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were able to test complex concepts and prototypes with the tool. We're able connect with very hard to reach demographics.
