## PhishingBox Reviews
  ### 1. Effective Phishing Training, Needs Better Package Clarity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick O. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2026

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

I like the reporting features of PhishingBox, which allow me to send customized reports that give us a strong feeling of ownership over our system. The ability to pick content that fits our environment and can be scheduled around our teachers' busy timelines is a big plus. I find the trainings to be short and sweet while covering many important topics. Setting up baselines allows us to work closely with administrative staff at K-12 schools to develop action plans tailored to their needs. I generally prefer PhishingBox over other products we've tried, and I found the initial setup easy.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

The course library is a bit confusing. Packages are mismarked as 'Free' even though many require paying additional. It can be difficult to discern if a content package is free otherwise. One big pain point we run into over each year is the expiration of courses, leading to a few days of redeveloping a training schedule for our clients while waiting for action from our account rep at PhishingBox. We need to be able to have a smooth transition from the old schedule to the new, without downtime.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PhishingBox lets us tailor cybersecurity training to fit our environment and teachers' schedules, with concise but comprehensive courses. The reporting features help create baselines and action plans, aligning with school needs.

  ### 2. Easy Internal Phishing Training with Email Campaigns

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** tyler s. | VDI and Security Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

We have the ability to create email campaigns for our internal users. This allows staff to be properly trained on phishing material.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

I wish they had more filters when sending out to certain people.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Educating our end users about spam and phishing emails and how to spot them.

  ### 3. Templates and Campaign Cloning Make PhishingBox a Breeze

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Templates & the ability to clone campaigns

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Initial setup can be a little confusing. A FAQ with PhishingBox terminology translated to plain English would help.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are required to conduct training on a yearly basis as part of maintaining cyber-insurance. Typically we run 3 to 4 campaigns a year at unexpected times.

  ### 4. Excellent experience with PhishingBox—professional, reliable, and well-organized at every step.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Printing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2025

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Great pricing, excellent service, and good features.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

The UI could be improved for a smoother user experience, and a more professional-looking domain name would help build trust and encourage more clicks.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One-year subscription to a social engineering awareness campaign.

  ### 5. User friendly product and great support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denise M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

I've used this product for years and it is a cost-effective way for my clients to get phishing training. I've found it easy to use and when I have a question support is very helpful. When a client has had difficulty allowing emails into their system, the support team has been very helpful (also very patient). As it has become more difficult to get phishing emails into the inboxes, the support team has adapted and provides more and better resources for my clients.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

I had considered not providing this service in the future, due to the difficulty of getting emails to work well and the service becoming more expensive. My clients are mostly small businesses and don't have big budgets. However, I was approached by someone using a bigger name service who wanted to offer it to my clients at a "really great" price, which was at least 10 times higher than what I charge. I decided to keep PhishingBox and expand the service offering and it is paying off.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provide phishing and security awareness to my clients. Regulators and insurers now require this type of training periodically. If it's a smaller organization it doesn't make financial sense for them to purchase their own system, so this is how I can help them meet regulatory requirements will keeping their costs low.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Denise, thank you for providing your feedback. Our support team is happy to assist in ensuring the platform is integrating properly with whatever existing workflows you and your clients utilize.

  ### 6. Easy and Affordable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric A. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Straightforward product experience-more than enough to get the job done for SMBs. Say what you will about the effectiveness of Phishing Campaigns, but in many cases, these are required for cyber insurance and the like.

The PhishingBox team did a good job at walking us through the product, and we had good follow-up calls with the account team as we onboarded. The training campaigns are informative and the modifiable "gotcha" pages make the educational aspects avaiable with no extra setup effort. Implementation is straightforward, and the account team makes sure you're doing this properly when you onboard, making integration for a team like ours a non-issue.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

The UI can be a little bit confusing, particularly around the campaign scheduling, but it's certainly workable and I expect will continue to improve as the product matures.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee training and cyberinsurance requirements.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> We appreciate the feedback, Eric. If you have any specific UI items you’d like to address, our product team would love to hear from you! Just let your account executive know or customer success team know.

  ### 7. Easy to get started and feature rich

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaurav H. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

The ease of getting started with PhishingBox. It is super easy, the set up was a breeze. And as I am exploring the platform further, I am seeing more things that I like.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

There is nothing in particular that I do not like. There is a lot of capability that one can use. As a result, it can feel overwhelming. But once you get a hang of what you need from the platform, the application is easy to use.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to build awareness within our small team and run a simulation of fake SPAM emails to ensure our team is attentive to email phishing issues.

We have started to run regular phishing campaigns. This has been a great way to educate the team about security.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Gaurav, thank you for utilizing our phishing simulation and training platform. We understand some users may only need to see the basics while others need customization and a deeper well of tools to fully execute the needs of their organizations. We'll continue to optimize the user interface for the unique needs of our customers.

  ### 8. Phishingbox helps you to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risk.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bob M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2024

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Phishingbox is a solid and great online system that helps you to conduct simulated phishing attacks and also educate users with cybersecurity awareness training. In our company, we use it at least once a month to help in testing the entire employee population.
We have been using Phishingbox for more than 3 years and has been very helpful and reliable. Phishingbox is cost-effective making it affordable to all sizes of companies.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

To be sincere, i love everything about Phishingbox. It's the best and leading cybersecurity awareness training platform every company should implement.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I recommend Phishingbox for Cybersecurity awareness training. If you are searching for the best, then i highly recommend Phishingbox. It's the best and most secure automated protection platform with excellent and responsive support team.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> To be sincere, we greatly appreciate your feedback, Bob. Let us know if you ever need assistance with campaign creation and deployment. Be sure to check out the training email campaign type in addition to the simulated phishing templates!

  ### 9. Simple, but thorough and effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Defense & Space | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

PhishingBox is a simple to use tool with easy to decipher dashboards and a variety of cybersecurity training and testing tools. This tool is used at least once a month to continually test the entire employee population. When someone is "caught," training is administered immediately. "Problem children" become obvious through the system's tracking. This is a must-have for anyone that takes cybersecurity seriously.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

At first, there was a little learning pain on setting up a phishing campaign, but after a couple of tries, it worked out okay. The worst thing that can happen is the audience gets tested more than once - which is really a win, isn't it?

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When an external entity asks the inevitable question, "How do you know your employees understand and apply your training?" I can bring this tool up and show the consistent use, test results, and remedial training provided in one place.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Thank you for your feedback. If you’d ever like to have assistance setting up a campaign, our customer success team or your account executive can assist!

  ### 10. IT Infrastructure engineer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khedir Q. | System Admininstrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Ability to have more phishing templates and lots of phishing training campaigns. Plus the dashboard had alot of features that I can easily manage my campaigns and view reports etc

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Sometimes adding new template and tweaking the features or adding a new domain name can take sometimes.but other than that I don't have anything that I don't like all the other featuresare great.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It fixed many cyber awareness problem, it alert the users about the tricky emails and have them contact Administrators for clarifications. It also solve the issue by making some user fall for the trick emails, and that make the Admin to roll out extensive training campaigns to those vulnerable users

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Thank you for your feedback, Khedir. Our product team is always looking to improve the platform and response times and will continue to enhance this and other features.

  ### 11. Great program!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Tha ability to customize emails and track interactions! The reporting is also great when I need to present to customers or management.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Hard to get domains through spam filters.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is keeping users on their toes and showing them what to look for. We are benefiting by a lot more reporting of actual phishing emails.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Thank you for the feedback. We're always adding new domains and displaying which ones are active for campaign setup. If there is a particular domain you'd like to use for a campaign that is still showing inactive/flagged, let our support team know and they'll assist immediately!

  ### 12. Mostly Great

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

The provided phishing templates are a great help in getting tests/campaigns ready to start. It is a huge time saver to not have to generate these on my own.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

I strongly dislike that there are campaigns and tests, when you can't add tests to campaigns. In an ideal world, I would be able to make a campaign, then add tests to it so all of my testing can be read in one summary data chart - which would allow us to more easily track changes over a quarter or year, and more easily flag any repeated failures.
Using recurring tests is one way to get a similar effect, but if we want to make changes to the templates or targets, then we're out of luck and have to create something entirely new.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to test our user's understanding of the training we provide to them on phishing and cyber security.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Thank you for your feedback. Our product development and management teams are always looking for specific insight and use cases to help advance and optimize the user experience.

  ### 13. Fairly priced, high quality phishing simulation and infosec training make PhishingBox a solid choice

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Their phishing simulation offerings are numerous and very easy to use. Adding targets is a snap, and the overall process is very simple. They have tons of domains to choose from, with more added seemingly all the time, and their phishing sim emails are very well-crafted. They have very granular choices for when people view or click on the fake phish emails, and their campaign builder is top-notch. There are a lot of pluses for PhishingBox, and overall I'm happy with my decision to use them.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

The user administration when removing users could use work - there's no way to delete users except one-by-one or by adding them to a group to then delete. I assume this is on purpose, but it's kinda wonky deleting users.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Phishing simulation is really required at this point, and they do a great job at it, with quality phishes that even seasoned email veterans may fall for. And their training videos are funny, provide useful information, and are quick to boot.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> We appreciate you taking the time to provide valuable user insight and will provide our product team with your input!

  ### 14. Effective phishing and training tool for third party pen testers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan N. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

PhishingBox was one of very few marketing emails I have responded to in 18 years of IT Audit and penetration testing. Before PB, I had to create disposable email accounts or set up an internal server-- a complicated and timely process with costs I had to pass through to clients. When other phishing tools focused on internal emails within one compnay, PhishingBox met a unique and valuable need in the market.

For us, the ease of use and ability to send phishing email campaigns to clients is why we always return as customers. Tests can be delegated to other members of the team, we can provide clients with real examples of the phish we intend to use, the quality of reporting improves all the time, including reduction of false positives.

Customer support is always timely and helpful. Documentation is readily available. Training and phishing templates are plentify and completely customizable. We can use a predefined templates or, if we come up with a great phishing scenario, can write it ourselves without much additional effort.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Our biggest challenge is circumventing spam filters to get phishing emails into the inboxes of our clients. We try to minimize their effort, but spam filters are getting better. Don't know how much PB can do to resolve that challenge though.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use PB for phishing tests for external penetration testing customers. It allows us to provide reporting on phishing clicks. Customers love the results.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Thank you for the detailed insight, Bryan! Provider and third-party filters are improving, but with phishing on the rise, attacks are still making their way to inboxes worldwide. Our domains can be flagged when end users report them directly to providers and can impact deliverability. Our team is actively adding new domains and clearing ones flagged. If you're looking for a specific domain for a given campaign, let us know and we can add to the list!

  ### 15. High value, Low cost

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M. | CIO, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

It does what you need it to do, without all the extras that add confusion and distract from the ultimate task

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

I don't think there is anything I really dislike. The application has it's nuances like any other tool. Once you understand how it works it's pretty straitghtforward.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to test our teammates on their security awareness and ensure they are protecting themselves and the organization. We've seen a vast improvement in people being mindful of and reporting on Phishing attacks.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Appreciate the feedback, Michael. If you need any assistance with campaign creation or support in the future, don't hesitate to let us know.

  ### 16. easy to work with and figure out. reports are easy to get to.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kassidy a. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

i like how easy it is to use. generating reports is a breeze. it is very organized and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

a few times i have went an extended period of time without recieving reports to my email then i would get 30 all at once. it has since been fixed and i have no issue

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

training dealerships to know what a scam email looks like and teach them to not click on links. it is working well for my accounts. it has increased and the dealerships are happy.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Kassidy, our reporting system does track opens and clicks. Give us a shout and our support team can walk you through where that information is located if it's not showing up on your account. You can filter by failure within the campaign creator for a specific campaign and send a follow-up campaign to only those who failed. Our support team can also walk you through that.

  ### 17. Good functional phishing simulator

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob F. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Premade templates for phishing tests are very helpful, as is the ability to sync user accounts with active directory. Campaigns are easy to create and the repoprting is clear and easy to digest.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

The outlook/exchange addin that is supposed to allow end users to report phishing emails via a button does not seem to work properly. We were unable to get it installed in 64bit outlook and phishing box support was unable to determine why we were expericing errors. This would have been a very helpful feature so it is very disappointing that it is not functional.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Phishingbox helps with end user phishing awareness and phishing siumlation tests. The training modules are helpful for users that fail the tests and allows us to improve organization security awareness.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Jacob, please contact your account executive directly or reach out in the portal via the chat function and our team will review the case to get things operational if you're still experiencing problems with the plug-in.

  ### 18. Phishing Box is a great tool for training and employee awareness when it pertains to phishing emails

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David A. | Systems Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

User-Friendly Interface: Many users might find the the phishing campaign portal is easy to navigate and use, with an intuitive interface that simplifies the process of setting up and managing phishing campaigns.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Setting up the backend in exchange to allow the phishing emails to not go to spam or junk. This is really a microsoft issue but I feel it could be a little more guided with phishing box.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PhishingBox is helping our company raise employee awareness. PhishingBox simulates realistic threats to allow our comapny to identify vulnerabilities and measure progress to determine our users areness level.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

Phishingbox is great platform for Cyber Security Awareness Training.
It has excellent simulations to test employees in a controlled Phishing Attack.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Sometimes the platform is very slow in response time.
It will be great to have more training videos representing more scenarios for the employees to understand phishing and other types of social engineering attacks.

Helping the employees to understand how to protect the organization from phishing attacks.

  ### 21. Easily Automated Phishing Testing/Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

In my current position I am responsible for running our monthly phishing testing and Phishingbox has been an awesome tool in user awareness training. With the ease of use in creating, distributin and training I couldn't reccomend Phishingbox any higher. We have the service connected to Google Workspace for group creation and tracking of success/failure, we could definitely be taking this even further and use it for training targeting but currently run a training template on every fail.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Sometimes the UI can be a little clunky but overall it wouldn't deter me from using the service.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We currently use this to train our employees with varying difficulties of phishing scenarios. We like to run multiple templates per month from easy to real world difficulty. We have seen an increase in our user's awareness and have seen much better fail rates compared to our first few months with the service.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Thank you for the feedback. Our development team is always looking to optimize the user experience.

  ### 22. Solid platform for the price

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David D. | Chief Information Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

PhishingBox gives us the ability to test and train our users on different attacks. Running a new compaign every week or so gives the users lots of muscle memory in seeing what might be bad.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

I wish it had addtional levels of training based on the links that the user might click.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gives insight into how users decide what to click on in emails.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Appreciate your time, David. Let your account executive or our customer success and support teams know if you need assistance or have questions about available content!

  ### 23. Easy enough for beginners, complex enough for power users

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

I like that PhishingBox makes it easy to get deep insights into the testing results. Being able to drill into exactly which users were phished and even the emails they opened enabled us to create increasingly nuanced phishing campaigns.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

I thought it was fairly hard to start from scratch. I wanted to import a large number of email templates into a campaign, but it seemed like the bulk operations I wanted were unavailable.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PhishingBox helps us train our users to be more aware of security practices and the dangers of phishing. We are a health technology company and so we have an elevated need for information security. PhishingBox helps us provide that.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Hi Kevin! Thank you for your feedback. We're always looking for user experience input to continue to improve the platform and make it as easy as possible to train teams.

  ### 24. Great for Cybersecurity training and campaigns

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Custmer service has been very helpful with setup and implementation, as well as ongoing support if you have questions or issues on setting up a new campaign. Lots of options for email and phishihng campaigns compared to competitors. Also large variety of training for IT compliance or failed "clicks" on campaigns.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

GUI can sometimes get a little hard to work through. Some items might get lost in the suace, but thankfully their KB systems helps work through these issues.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company did not have an IT training database, as well as active cyber security training/campaign system. This will help our users get better at detecting scams and phishing attemps, and how to report them and resolve.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Thank you for the feedback, Chris! If you ever need any support, just give us a shout via the portal chat, email, or phone!

  ### 25. Fantastic platform and quick and helpful support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clark C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Easy-to-use platform, responsive and helpful support, they also listen to our feedback and implement recommended changes in a timely fashion. I like that they are a smaller company that feels a lot more personable than some of the huge ones I've worked with.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

They aren't quite as full-featured as some of the larger providers for phishing tests and training, but they are actively adding more features all the time, and many of the ones they lack at this point wouldn't be frequently used by us.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to upload our own content and customize the templates easily, which has made huge improvements to our security posture and preparedness against phishing and other attacks.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Clark, we appreciate the insight into your direct use of the platform and if any specific feature requests pop up you'd like to submit, simply utilize the hellonext feature request integration within the portal itself and we'll get it to the product team for review!

  ### 26. We manage hundreds of accounts with ease and great support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

PhihsingBox has an easy to use platform with a great dashboard right off the bat. I really like the ease and speed of producing reports that have useful easy to read information.
The support we have received has been hands down some of the best, timely and efficient help. Not much to complain about, if you can't build or edit a template, help is right there and the flexability with templates is spot on.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

KillPhish, great concept but so far everyone I have roled it out to , we have issues and it wont work. Clients have varied versions of Outlook limiting the ability to have a report button.
I would like to make some of the reports custmized.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most of our clients have a requirement to have cybersecurity phishing testing, its affordable and easy to use, I love the flexability with templates. I also like being able to assign training to a fail if an organization need that help.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Thank you for the feedback. If there are any specific report customization options you're looking for, please let us know via the feature recommendation tool inside the portal or reach out to your account executive!

  ### 27. PhishingBox makes testing and training easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Phishinbox has a comprehensive portal that really assists the user in creating meaningful tests that create meaningful results when it comes to phishing testing and training. Our workforce embraces this testing and with a slight bit of gamification we make it a fun exercise.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

It would be cool if Phishing box had a few more easy buttons. It is really simple to go setup a campaign but it would also be cool (and maybe I just haven't found it) to be able to do a quick campaign based on prompts like in an AI bot. Something like, I would like to send a phishing test to all employees over the next 10 days that targets them based on t-mobile scams. And then phishingbox just goes to work for me.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can meet our audit requirements and my requirements as the CISO to be more secure easily with this tool. It also gives me comfort that our workforce is getting better at spotting phishing attempts!

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Thank you for the feedback. We're always looking to add new features!

  ### 28. Easy to use with awesome support.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Randy G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

The ease of use, detailed guide and technical support coupled with awesome email templates make this a great solution.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Sometimes there is some confusion when making exclusions the documentation fails to explain. Also, the "when clicked" automatic enrollment could be explained better.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing awesome training and insights into employee behavior. Allowing us to better educate and target users that require more training. Helping us meet our compliance requirements.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Thank you for the direct insight, Randy. Our product team is always looking to improve the user experience and feedback is crucial to that progression.

  ### 29. PhishingBox: The Frontline of Cybersecurity Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

In my experience with PhishingBox, what I appreciated most was its ease of use. The process of creating and launching phishing simulation campaigns was refreshingly straightforward, making it user-friendly even for those of us not deeply immersed in cybersecurity.

The wide variety of educational templates was another standout feature, as it allowed us to test our team against diverse real-life phishing scenarios. This breadth of templates increased our preparedness for actual incidents.

Post-campaign, PhishingBox provided comprehensive reporting on how each member of our team responded, allowing us to identify the areas where more training was needed. I also noticed that they continuously update their simulations to keep up with the latest trends in phishing attacks. This ongoing relevance ensured that we were always training against the most recent threats.

From a financial perspective, PhishingBox was a clear winner. Compared to the potential cost of a real phishing attack, investing in this tool was a no-brainer. It provided robust cybersecurity defense at a reasonable cost.

Perhaps my favorite feature was the training integration. PhishingBox didn't just identify the employees who fell for the simulated phishing attack; it also provided immediate training. This allowed us to educate our team members on the spot about the mistakes they made, effectively turning a vulnerability into a learning opportunity.

Overall, my journey with PhishingBox was extremely positive, and I found it to be a powerful tool in the frontline of cybersecurity training.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

In using PhishingBox, I found just a couple of slight inconveniences. Firstly, I noticed that the interface, while generally intuitive, could use a bit of polishing. A more modern, sleek design would have made my interaction with the tool even more pleasant.

Secondly, the sheer variety of phishing simulation templates was at times a bit overwhelming. Perhaps an additional filtering option or categorization could make this extensive library easier to navigate.

Lastly, the reports, while very detailed and comprehensive, were quite straightforward in presentation. It would have been a nice touch to have the option of more colorful or visually engaging representations of the data.

Again, these are very minor points. None of them significantly detracted from my overall positive experience with PhishingBox as a cybersecurity training tool.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PhishingBox has been a vital tool in bolstering our cybersecurity defenses. The primary problem it solves for us is the risk of phishing attacks, a pervasive issue that can have serious consequences for businesses. By using PhishingBox's simulated phishing campaigns, we've been able to identify potential weaknesses in our staff's awareness and understanding of such threats.

The immediate benefit to me has been peace of mind. Knowing that we're proactively addressing a common and potentially devastating security threat gives me confidence in our overall cybersecurity strategy.

Furthermore, PhishingBox has been instrumental in our ongoing cybersecurity training efforts. It's one thing to educate staff about the dangers of phishing attacks, but it's another thing entirely to give them hands-on experience in identifying and responding to such threats. This real-world training has undoubtedly increased our team's ability to spot and avoid actual phishing attacks.

The detailed reports provided by PhishingBox have also been incredibly valuable. They've allowed us to pinpoint areas where additional training is needed, and track our progress over time. This kind of tangible, measurable data is key in ensuring our training efforts are effective.

Finally, the financial benefit cannot be overstated. The cost of PhishingBox pales in comparison to the potential losses from a successful phishing attack. By catching our vulnerabilities before real attackers do, we've been able to mitigate potential financial risks, making PhishingBox an incredibly worthwhile investment for us.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Thank you for the detailed feedback! Our team is always looking for direct user insight to continue to improve the platform and UX/UI.

  ### 30. Easy to Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

PhishingBox has a simple interface and allows for easy training and phishing campaigns. Outlook reporting integration has allowed me to easily manage reports from my end users and keep them properly paranoid.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Automated campaigns work very well but require a large effort to maintain and keep in place. It would be nice if there were more complete templates available so that I can simply check a box and assign a group rather than build out the campaign each time. This is more a complaint about my own lack of time to manage it, but I know I can't be the only person who has limited time to dedicate to internal phishing campaigns.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me manage annual training with quarterly checks to ensure that my end users are not clicking on things that they shouldn't be. It is increasing awareness across the company.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> We're launching a quick campaign feature soon. Reach out to your account executive for additional details!

  ### 31. A honest review of PhishingBox SaaS.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

I liked the ease of setting up the Phishing Campains; so easy a novice IT person can get going fast compared to over SaaS based phishing simulations.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

The only thing I can think of the possible whitelisting of phishing domains. Sometimes you have to go back and adjust the Google or Microsoft platforms to allow emails to hit users.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me and customers relize security awarness by sending simulations and training requirements to stay in compliance with IT insurance for ransomware. It's been a real life saver having the ability to test and train a broad level of users in K12 educational settings.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Chris, thank you for the feedback. We're in constant conversation with providers to ensure our domains remain active and deliverable and will continue to work to ensure domain reputation remains high. As domains are flagged by users directly to providers, it can impact domain integrity.

  ### 32. Simple setup, great results

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

The best feature of Phishing Box is how easy it is to configure and get up and running. Within 24 hours, we had a Phishing campaign configured, targeted education, and executed the Phishing campaign, The results report was extremely detailed and helped out organization quickly identify gaps.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Honestly, I havent found anything so far that hasnt worked well. Overall very satisifed with the product

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Phishing box is helping us educate our employees on how to identify suspected phishing scams, the impacts to the organization if we fall victim to one, and what steps need to be taken when we have been exposed to risk.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Andrew, we appreciate the insight and let us know if we can assist with any campaigns in the future. Be sure to check out the training email campaign type if you haven't yet!

  ### 33. Phishing Training/Simulations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

PhishingBox has dramatically increased our end users' awareness of what goes on behind the scenes of a phishing scam, and has taught them how to recognize scams on their own rather than forwarding everything to technology asking if it's legit or not.
The platform is extremely easy to navigate and for users to set up campaigns with.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

I can't find anything yet that would qualify as something I dislike.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PhishingBox is helping make users aware of how good scammers and phishers are at having success in recognizing email scams and spotting phishing emails. Their simulations and training are top notch.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Great to hear, David! If you ever need any assistance with the platform, just let us know.

  ### 35. great system, very in depth and focused.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

the granular configuration for each project is very well made.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

interface is a bit complex but I don't think there is a way to make it simpler.
the pricing is a bit higher than other options on the market.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

automated phishing exercises. with the many templates the system has and the designated domains, makes it very easy to initiate a phishing campaign.
I tried several times creating such a process manually with open sources and domain purchases. its just too much work. phishing box solves all of that.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Thank you for the feedback and let us know if you ever need any assistance with campaign creation or deployment!

  ### 36. CTO

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Phishing campaigns are extremely easy to setup through the use of their templates. Users are tracked and ones needing remediation are easily identified. Security Awareness content is clean and concise. Our employees actually stated that the training was fun and easy to understand.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Security Awareness content is a little limited. Most of the content is targeted at your basic end user. Additional more advanced content for power users or developers would be great.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PhishingBox helps us meet our Security Awareness training requirement for Compliance. It also allows us to re-enforce this training through simulated phishing attacks.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Hi Rick. Thank you for the feedback. We're always looking to add more job-specific content available via additional packages for tailored needs. Your account rep would be happy to assist with the conversation on specific needs.

The product has a user-friendly interface and is easy to navigate. Creating and customizing phishing campaigns is simple, allowing us to tailor simulations to fit the specific needs and vulnerabilities of our industry.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Nothing. I have had a very positive experience.

  ### 38. Phishing Box has met all of our expectations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Phishing Box is intutive and easy to use. The electronic reporting is also easy to use and keeps track of users progress for trainign and for Phishing campaigns. We migrated to Phishing Box from KnowB4 and prefer Phishing Box.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

We have been on Phishing Box for over a year and do not really have anything we do not like about the product. After migrating from KnowB4 Phishing Box's customer service is superior to KnowB4.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By creating ongoing security awareness campaigns thriugh Phishing Box we keep our users aware and alert regarding emails and what to look for in a rogue email. Through continued awareness we feel mor e confident our users will not click on things they should not click on in their inbox.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> We certainly pride ourselves on being responsive to the needs of our customers. If you ever need any assistance with the platform or have general cybersecurity education questions, let your account executive or our customer success team know!

  ### 39. Fantastic phishing and training product that's easy to manage and deploy.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim B. | Cyber Security Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Selecting from a wide range of templates for phishing and training is a breeze, as well as customizing the experience for each user.
Great graphics on each option and very easy to deply.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Creating your own template can be tricky with the built-in functions, as it doesn't quite work the same as regular HTML coding.
Having a "drag-and-drop" template option would make it even easier.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Extensive and regular training with employees is easy to manage and deploy.
Hundreds of templates make each engagement unique. It also frees up time to continue with other tasks.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Thank you for your feedback, Tim! If you need any assistance building out templates or would like to request a certain template be added, let us know as it may be a template other customers are interested in as well and rise in priority when adding new content.

  ### 41. Simple UI, Easy to create campaigns, achieving excellent results

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brenden S. | Sales, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

The simplicity of setup. It's very easy to setup a campaign for a client(s). There support is also very helpful, spending time with me going over the finer details and explaining how it works.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Reporting the results to my clients could be a little easier. It's not difficult, however, it is time consuming if you run a campaign against a group of clients.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

End user awareness in phishing emails and how to spot them.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Thank you for your insight. If you’re interested in particular reporting features, like setting up email notifications to clients upon campaign completion, we can certainly assist!

  ### 42. Solid product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

The email campaign functionality is flexible.
Ability to use SSO
Integration with Litmos with their custom training modules.
Their documentation/how-to articles is pretty thorough.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

The plugin is less reliable than the previous vendor we were with. It doesn't work in Outlook 2019 (throws an error). The score it gives emails is 100% useless.
Their admin portal is organized in a way that is needlessly confusing.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to see who in the organization is a security liability and help them to improve their security awareness.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Thank you for the feedback, Jeremy. Our product team is always looking to improve the user experience. Our support team can assist with the KillPhish scan and report feature.

  ### 43. Best phishing Simulator and eLearning Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francis Roosevelt A. | Cyber Security Consultant & Systems and Network Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

About how easy it is to set up the simulation for employees. And allow Microsoft 365 bypass to allow users to receive the phishing tests. They have real world phishing templates and if a user is hooked, a specific training can be issued for the user to complete

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Nothing so far. Only if they can allow for buying for specific usage periods apart from the annual subscription! Because it's not practical to run phishing simulations throughout the year.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our employees were trained using power points. But to be sure they really understood what was done, phishingbox came in as the practical platform to send legitimate phishing samples and based on the hook, users were redirected to take trainings. And they were monitored via the same platform on their progress

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Hi Francis. Thank you for your feedback. Glad the platform is hitting your expectations. Let your account executive know if we can provide any additional support or needs!

  ### 44. easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah M. | Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Phishing box is very user friendly. I signed in and found my way around the software with ease. I like how i can email the report right from this window. I use it frequently so I need to be quick and efficient to get my work done.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

I wish it would email it to me with the account I am phishing so I dont have to re lable everything, especially if I am dealing with multiple accounts.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shows my customers where they are weak and need more training.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Sarah, thank you for your feedback.

  ### 45. PhishingBox Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Ease of making templates and its easy to understand UI.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

It doesn't have preview page of how Phishing template would look like when someone will receive it.
Also I don't know if the feature exists but if it doesn't I would like to see details of people in groups, i.e, their should be category to view users based on actions they did on receiving phishing mail. I sometimes need to see consolidated list of users who only clicked, the ones who reported etc. Now I just search for user names and see what all actions they did but it is not ideal.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps in conducting Phishing Awareness campaigns and provides me with all campaign relevant information.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Our support team can absolutely assist with your feature questions and show you how to execute your desired tasks. You can coordinate via the chat function within the portal itself or via support@phishingbox.com.

  ### 46. Many features not available elseware

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2022

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

The number one best feature we use with phishingbox is the ability to schedule certain numbers of emails over a given amount of time. ie 50 emails per hour etc. The other phishing training products we looked at could not do this.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Communication about broken functionality can be lacking. They need a status.phishingbox.com that tracks issues and allows you to know their resolution progress.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our verticle's number 1 attack vector is phishing. Phishingbox allows us to "exercise" our user base.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Thank you for the feedback and helping us continuously improve to meet our customers' needs!

  ### 47. Great, affordable solution with helpful support team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zack T. | Sales Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Clean and modern interface. Much simpler to use than its competitor KnowB4. Support documents are well detailed and the support team is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

At this time I do not have any issues with the platform.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy phishing campaign deployment.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> We always like seeing customers using the platform with ease, Zack. If you need any additional assistance, just let our team know and we'll get on it!

  ### 48. Phishing Campaigns Simplified for the Systems Administrator

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Its plug and play, out-of-the-box functionality. We usually setup a campaign within 15 minutes and immediately get results. The simplicity of it all is great! Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

The training is not very intuitive. There are times when the stakeholders are not required to go through the training after clicking on the link within the email.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our internal stakeholders have become much more aware and are much more vigielent when it comes to phishing emails. As a result, notification for actual phishing emails have increased.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Scott, our support team can assist with ensuring the failure progression for testing is properly structured. Drop us a line in the platform, via email, or give us a call at 1-877-634-6847.

  ### 49. Great way to keep people on their toes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ervin B. | Associate Principal, CADD Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2023

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

Phisbox was easy to implement and test on whatever schedule you set. Many of the test are tricky, however if the recipient takes a moment they can figure out they are being tested. Great way to test reading with comprehension

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

Nothing negative to say. I'm not certain how often templates are updated, but there apears to be enough variety for my quarterly tests.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping people from randomly clicking links.
Decrease in number of failed campaigns hopefully leading to a more scure environment.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Hi Ervin! Our template creation team adds new threat themes regularly to stay current with real-world schemes attacking users. Be sure to check out our training emails and additional training content to bolster cybersecurity awareness education among staff!

  ### 50. Great useful tool but slight learning curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yoshi H. | IT System Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2022

**What do you like best about PhishingBox?**

The best part of phishing box is that the emails can be created or tailored from an existing template.

**What do you dislike about PhishingBox?**

The downside of it, is the sending out part. It isn't very clear or transparent in a way where I can send out quickly and the sequence is complicating for sending.

**What problems is PhishingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Phishing box is helping our company and preventing our staff members from breaking the habits of clicking on junk email. Our business has been at less risk with real life phishing emails.

**Official Response from Alex Risen:**

> Hi Yoshi! Thank you for your feedback and our support team is here to assist with any questions you may have, including sending and reporting. Drop us a line in our chat function or give us a call and we'll be sure to get you the answers you need.
