As all of us know, adopting to a new software takes time, they are not one size fits all since it's not custom made to our specific needs. For example, if a payment is deposited in our bank before we close out the invoice in MRPeasy, QuickBooks can sometimes generate a duplicate invoice entry when the information syncs over later. This requires some manual cleanup in QuickBooks. That said, the issue is more about workflow timing between systems than a problem with MRPeasy itself. MRPeasy was a lot cleaner than Katana in regard to bugs we were running into at the time. It was rather easy to learn for an MRP system and the support and tutorials are pretty thorough in explaining how things work. It's been a while since we switched, but I also recall the tutorial pages being rather consice which helped keep the migration from becomming too overwhemling. I love the plans and options offered through MRPe, we run 2 main workshops and have 3 contract manufacturing locations plus warehouses. The ability to add unlimited locations on our specific plan and seemlessly transfer stock is nice. Also the search suggestions are a real timesaver when it comes to finding and linking products in the text fields, especially as the catalog grows and you start having trouble remembering the full names/SKUs/product ID codes. Support has been very attentive as well and respond quickly and with detailed responses. The free demo is very nice as well. It took me only half of one full day using it to figure out that this was going to be a better and more cost effective software to use for our day to day. Inventory and SKU cost tracking is very good, we experience no bugs. It's very nice being able to log in an very quickly see inventory values by SKU/location/lot. **What do you dislike about MRPeasy?** While support is good, the software seems somewhat rigid. I kind of expect that at this price point, we're probably going to be looking for workarounds to unique, complex situations. I'm not sure if this is by design but for instance you cannot re-add stock back to existing lots as other reviewers have mentioned, you have to create new lots. Support explains that the requirement of creating new stock lots is designed to help track the movement of inventory (as opposed to batch numbers) and where it has been. Recognizing the usefulness of that information, there are limited circumstances where adding new stock lots for returned materials from production or contract manufacturers can sometimes be tricky. Also, it can be a little bit of a pain figuring out how to add stock to manufacturing orders requiring it on the production planning pages. This is one of the very few areas that KatanaMRP was better with. For instance if you need 10 subs to make a widget at site A, and you are missing stock of a sub, but have the sub/part in warehouse site B, it's not as simple as just making a transfer order and having the manufacturing order update. You need to change or delete the MO, then remake it to get it to update. However, support was very knowledgable about this and provided excellent advice with easy to follow work around instructions. As a disclosure, we were offered an incentive as customers for contributing an honest review. There may be better options out there, but MRPeasy makes works for us at the current $99 enterprise plan price. We would recommend at least trying out the free demo for businesses looking for an MRP. **What problems is MRPeasy solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use MRPeasy primarily to track many different SKUs for finished goods, subs, and raw materials (both piece counts and UOM-based raws) across mulitple locations. It's easy to set up new products in their appropriate categories. It's easy to quickly see how much of a specific product and the inventory levels across multiple locations (we are working with less than 10 locations so I cannot speak for firms with many locations) when it is time to restock a dist center or when a customer inquires about a large order. Easy to track and quickly check values of stocks for tax purposes, insurance, etc. Easy to search and filter inventory. If you are a seasoned manufacturing person, there is little functionaiity missing and everything is where you expect to find it. The on-line help is excellent and technical support team are very responsive. The time for new users to learn MRPEasy is very short and the team have found their jobs to be much easier now that MRPEasy is in place. **What do you dislike about MRPeasy?** A bit more customisation in reports will be helpful, especially making more fields available to include in the various reports. **What problems is MRPeasy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solved our inventory management issues, bill of materilas and manufacturing work orders. The quality control / inspection has provided an excellent way to perform QC. There is a fast and easy self-service signup that allows easy evaluation compared to nearly every other MRP. Since MRPEasy is a web app, it can work with nearly any system or device that your company uses. **What do you dislike about MRPeasy?** As a manufacturer of raw materials into goods, MRPEasy lacked what we needed. We have to send parts out for some outsourced work, and when I spoke to my MRPEasy account manager about how we can track that process/cost in their system I was told that was not a feature yet. For those manufacturing from raw materials, I think that your operation is too big for MRPEasy. **What problems is MRPeasy solving and how is that benefiting you?** MRPeasy provides inventory tracking, warehouse management, order management, and accurate costing.
