**What do you like best about Litify?**

I love the fact that you can do everything within the app. You can draft documents, convert them, email, edit, chat with clients, etc. All our resources are linked with litify and it helps me keep organized. No more extra windows or apps to keep track because its all within the program.

**What do you dislike about Litify?**

There are some things that litify can do and from my understanding its in the works. We file alot of documents to the court and if we can implement a few of those options into litify to be able to file within litify that would save us alot of time and problems. Alot of the time the court sites are down and cannot file but having this feature would be the best thing.

**What problems is Litify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

theres a feature we use called round robin and right now it may not be working properly but it will benefit once its up and running.

**What do you like best about Litify?**

I like that everything can be notated in Chatter on Litify, which helps in seeing exactly where each case is or what has been done recently. This feature adds value because if I need to speak to my manager about a case, I can quickly read the notes and provide updates based on what is notated. Also, the setup was super easy, and the Litify team made it easy to transfer data.

I think Litify could improve with more seamless integrations.

Litify solves issues with tasks or items being lost, and everything can be noted in chatter, providing a clear view of case progress and recent actions. It adds value by allowing quick consultations with managers based on updated notes.

**What do you like best about Litify?**

I like that you can search for a particular word or phrase in a case and it will show you any notes or documents with these words.

**What do you dislike about Litify?**

Litify is not proactive in helping you remember to do certain things. You have to actively look for things, they don't stand out. I am not a fan of the web-based programing and the faint lines and colors.  I'd like to be able to customize it better for my individual needs.  Additionally, it's not the most user friendly for the workers that input information. Something that would take me one or two clicks in Needles now takes me five or six clicks to accomplish in Litify. Everything takes longer to do.

**What problems is Litify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Searching for certain things is quicker. I don't have to read through all the notes.

**What do you like best about Litify?**

I really appreciate how simple it is to navigate, and I enjoy the variety of features available, such as AI capabilities. These tools help me keep my work organized and save me time by reducing the need for multiple clicks. Customer Support is also always available to answer our questions when there are errors that we run into and they are always willing and ready to take our requests for new features and they implement them so quickly.

**What do you dislike about Litify?**

There are occasional glitches that sometimes fall short of my expectations, but overall, these are minor issues in the grand scheme of things.

This tool helps me save time because I no longer have to make so many clicks.

**What do you like best about Litify?**

I like Docrio Advanced Search the most, specifically the ability to search for text within files and using boolean operators. This feature allows me to find narrow or niche arguments in motions my firm filed in other cases, which saves a lot of time and effort. Being able to search in such a granular manner is valuable, given that a large part of my firm's internal communications involves attorneys asking whether someone has made a similar argument in previous cases.

**What do you dislike about Litify?**

I don't like the Litify interface. It is clunky and unintuitive. I also wish that I could integrate Litify with AI tools such as Harvey, so that I could more easily make use of the firm's existing motions and other resources. It is not pleasing to look at, but more importantly, it does not seem tailored to the law firm practice. It seems like it's just traditional Salesforce shoehorned into legal practice, which does not really translate. Lots of the tools, like leads or tags, are not useful in legal practice, and could be replaced. I would really like to see an AI that is able to identify non-confidential documents such as filings or motions and auto-categorize them by the type of legal issue discussed.

Litify organizes my cases and helps me find documents quickly. Docrio Advanced Search saves time by easily locating specific arguments in previous cases.

I like being able to chatter with other staff directly on the case page. It keeps a consistent, organized trail of information for all work done on each case.

**What do you dislike about Litify?**

I don't like how small the document preview screen is, and how there becomes multiple window scroll bars. And then when you click to open a document in full screen mode, it opens in a new tab. I wish it would just show the full document on the same screen.

**What do you like best about Litify?**

I like that Litify is a web app, which means you don't have to download anything to use it. I also like the feature where when you type in an address for client intake, it can search and correct the address in case you misspell it. That's very nice.

**What do you dislike about Litify?**

I don't like that there's no dark mode in Litify. The bright interface really strains my eyes. We're in 2025, and yet we're using these bright colors—dark mode would be so much better. And when I'm looking for client information and I hover over certain things, a pop-up appears, blocking the client's information. That's really annoying, and it makes me wish for a feature to disable or remove it. Plus, the design feels kind of dated; it looks too much like regular Salesforce. It could be more user-friendly—I already know how to use it, but it should be easier for others as well.

I use Litify in our law firm to keep client records, streamline intakes, and maintain an organized database. I also like its feature that auto-corrects addresses during client intakes.

The current task view is a huge benefit for time management as well as prioritizing tasks.

When on the go, the app gives you basic info. It is very clunky and doesn't give you full matter access.

As the accountant, the biggest priority I have is ensuring that checks are being cut ASAP. The connector we use allows us to easily send the approved checks to QuickBooks. Once the checks are cut, we can easily push the details like the check # and date back over to Litify so the legal staff can see all the details on checks cut.

I appreciate the automations that I can build into Litify to align with our daily practice, which significantly increases the efficiency of our law firm.

I find it challenging to switch from legacy systems to Litify, as we have to define and build out our own workflows. This process is difficult because we are accustomed to starting with a pre-set foundation. It would be beneficial if Litify provided more best practices to help set that foundation. Additionally, the initial setup is quite labor-intensive and time-consuming. Mapping out our existing system to the new one, while also simultaneously defining and improving workflows, makes the experience very overwhelming.

It’s very easy to track who is doing what on each new lead or client and easily searchable to locate client contact information quickly. Highly recommend for law firms with high volume practices!

I wish there was a better way to change the default view settings when looking at a matter.  Right now, when I am viewing a matter and want to see the most recently uploaded document (which is what I need to see 95% of the time), I have to click the Document Date column header twice (and wait for it to load each time).  I wish I could just make that my default view.

We must keep careful record of all files that come in and out of our office, and Litify does a good job making all the information accessible and viewable in an organized way.

I like that everything is in one place- time tracking, document management, docrio, etc.

**What do you dislike about Litify?**

It is so slow. Unbelievably slow. Takes forever to move between folders. Also, the download to PDF always messes up the document. It takes forever to upload large files or folders. Sometimes, even after waiting for hours for it to upload, the upload will fail or the files will be corrupted. Another thing is that deleted folders always regenerate themselves even after you delete them 1000 times.

It helps us do everything in one place and makes document management more accessible to everyone in our firm.

UI/UX Streamlining for Standard Users: While powerful, the interface can be complex for non-admin users. Certain features (like Appointments or Financial Summary) could benefit from more intuitive layouts, especially for roles with limited system permissions.

**What problems is Litify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’ve used Litify to overhaul our entire settlement process, optimize financial tracking (including attorney commissions and referral fees), and integrate third-party tools like EvenUp AI and SMS Magic for enhanced communication and automation. These integrations alone have saved our team hours each week and drastically reduced manual follow-up, boosting both efficiency and client satisfaction.

**What do you like best about Litify?**

Litify is familiar in a social media use sort of way. Tabs and things that we are looking for may be painfully in front of our faces, but the process of getting out and in to that space can be more complicated than needed. I like that your tasks are easily seen and the diary items are on the home page constantly for reminder.

**What do you dislike about Litify?**

It would be easier to use the system if there were not so many places to get lost. I think when there are too many options available, it can become overwhelming. I wish that I could send a chatter from any place in the case (i.e. a litify note within a tab) and it would connect automatically to the matter and post to the case. however it does not. While I do appreciate the social media approach, sometimes less is more.

**What problems is Litify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't really have any "problems" that need solving. If anything, when I do have a problem, I am unable to correct it due to being locked out and only a supervisor can fix it. This makes processes take unnecessarily longer.

Streamlined and simple; steep learning curve moving from old software but coordinates very well once past it. Ease of Implementation is not an issue assuming everyone does a little exercise work.

When migrating old files from NEEDLES specifically - we encountered the same issue dozens and dozens of times: mislogging 3rd party payments as first party payments [us or our client] and migrating different claims' case document folders into the same claim's case document folders [moving Jerry Smith's April 12 2021 documents into his October 5 2024 folder because the client name was the exact same.]

It can track almost everything you can think of and report on it. You can add fields, customize tags, and type data to make sure reporting goes as you want it.
It runs fairly fast, even when processing large amounts of data on the reports, and getting real-time info is quick.

It has a bit of a steep learning curve for new users; it's not necessarily intuitive, but it isn't impossible to learn by using it either. Creating more complex reports can be a bit challenging when you try to bring different types of data together, but that happens with any software.
I would highly like a revamp of their aesthetic; it has a very 90s vibe in the middle of 2025.

I love how easy is to integrate APIS with all you system, you have a better organizational system and can create easy reports. It's easy to learn and to train new onboarding members. You can have your own IT available for support or use the support from Litify to assit you. It's easy to implement in your company because works really well. I use it everyday for my client and potential clients.

I think it will be great to improve how fast log call notes are saved and that you can have draft to avoid forgetting notes or lose your notes.

We're coming off using a system that is twenty years old and was out-of-date probably at least ten years ago. Litify has a lot more features than our old system and it being web-based gives a lot more flexbility than our old system. 

I really like that I can have multiple tabs/ matters open at once so I can be switching between multiple cases at one time as I am often multi-tasking at any given time. 

There is room for a lot of organization within each matter (though sometimes too much so, see my dislikes). The search system within a Matter is awesome and is probably one of my favorite aspects. Being able to easily search for a docuement within a Matter using the Search bar is great. Litify's overall search bar to find Matters and people is also great.

Overall it was easy to use and pick up on from our old system.

**What do you dislike about Litify?**

While I like there is so much organization within each Matter sometimes there is almost too much- this might be my own firm's problem of having created too may folders, I don't know. But sometimes less is more with all the folders and subfolders that are created. Same with the intakes- they can get redundant when they ask multiple times where an accident happened ot what happened. I found the intake system to be very cumbersome and not something that someone would actually do for a full intake in the "real world" so we wound up skipping a lot of the fields.

The main thing I don't like is the overall view of the documents within a Matter. I absoultley hate that you can only see two or three documents at a time in your tiny screen and it makes it SO hard to get a real view of what documents are in a Matter, even when you're looking at the "list" view of a Matter. In our old system you could see 20-30 documents at one time that were all contained within one case and it was so much easier to see what documenet you had or find what you were looking for.

It keeps track of who made every document, who logged each call, basically who did everything for every single little action on the website. This is especially helpful because it helps understand who was the last person that talked to a client, or who has the original copy of a document. This is really critical for our law firm to collaborate. It also has great data storage for the copious documents we deal with on a daily basis. And it allows for quick and easy downloading and uploading of lots of different file types, including emails. 
The user interface is easy to understand.
I also like the distinction between matters, parties, and intakes.

The search function for documents can be improved. Sometimes just one typo can fail to uncover something, or typing a keyword in the middle of a file name doesn't turn up that file. This is frustrating because I have to try to guess what other people named documents, when I'm trying to get through hundreds of documents.
