With DBhawk, we can connect to many types of Databases, and our engineers don't need to install any application to communicate with DBhawk, which makes everyone's life easier.

With the help of DBhawk, we now have complete one-click automation, which gives the user access to the DB and schema they want to work on within a few seconds. All this was possible for us by DBhawk APIs, using which we have automated the complete process. And they have a fantastic support team which is always available to answer any of our doubts. Special thanks to Sameer Patel and Dave Shah for their dedicated support.

**What do you like best about DBHawk?**

I have enjoyed working with our partners at DBHawk. They are incredibly responsive and always willing to get on a call to troubleshoot. We have requested many features that are not only implemented but with rapid turnaround times. When I started using DBHawk, I needed many features to fulfill our requirements, but now I have everything I need. I haven't experienced this with other vendors I've worked with, and I highly recommend working with DBHawk. This product makes scheduling jobs straightforward, which is the primary use we have for it. I am starting to explore the many other great features, but the Job Scheduler is top-notch.

**What do you dislike about DBHawk?**

In the POC period, I spent a lot of time testing and troubleshooting issues (more time than expected), but these issues were not lingering. As I stated above, our partners at DBHawk were always more than willing to listen, help us troubleshoot, and build new features to meet our needs.

**What problems is DBHawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Job Scheduler is the most beneficial feature for us. We use it for business-critical queries to pull data into CSV files and push to our vendor's SFTPs, which allows us to keep our processes in sync and deliver fast and consistent value to our customers in many aspects of our business.

**What problems is DBHawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have clients that need direct access to their data hosted on our servers. Prior to using DBHawk tool, the clients would send the request to DBAs, and DBAs would manually run SQL queries for the clients. **What do you like best about DBHawk?**

DBHAWk is without a doubt my number 1 tool for data analysis and database administration, both for its security, efficiency, and versatility. There are some of the many reasons why I choose DBHAWK over other database management tools

Another positive aspect of DBHAWK is its web-based interface because everything is managed centrally, everything becomes easier and faster.

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2019

**What do you like best about DBHawk?**

DBHAWK is an excellent tool for database management, easy to use and really versatile, with a perfect value for money.
There are some aspects that I like about DBHAWK, one of them is the great versatility that it presents. Because it is compatible with multiple database platforms, therefore, it is not necessary to switch between multiple database clients.
I can also point out that thanks to the integration of the LDAP server, users do not have to know the username and password to connect to the database. Making it really efficient and easy to use.
It should also be noted that the web-based interface is quite good. It saves a lot of time since it is managed centrally and use can be controlled more easily.
Finally, DBHAWK consists of a powerful SQL editor and panels that make it an excellent tool for data analysis and database administration.

**What do you dislike about DBHawk?**

The only thing I dislike is the web limitations, for example, that if you refresh the page there is the possibility of losing your most recent job.
Although it is the only thing I dislike about DBHAWK, the rest are aspects that make me choose it against other software.

**Recommendations to others considering DBHawk:**

I recommend it without any doubt, an excellent tool for data analysis and web-based database management. Truly easy to use and versatile, with a very good web interface that just needs to improve some aspects.

**What problems is DBHawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DBHawk allows us to centralize access to all our databases and track the SQL activities of our users in a safe and simple way since they do not need to know the username and password to enter the DB.

  ### 23. Excellent database software for securing and tracking production access

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard T. | CIO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2019

**What do you like best about DBHawk?**

- Multiple database platforms
- Web User Interface
- LDAP(s) integration in front of database access (users do not have to know the database user and password to connect)
- Strong 2-factor Authentication
- Connections and queries per user tracking (perfect for production data fixing)
- Powerful SQL editor
- Powerful dashboards
- Queries saving and sharing

**What do you dislike about DBHawk?**

Nothing ! It's just perfect for our requirement !

**What problems is DBHawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DBHawk allows us to centralize the access to all of our production databases, and to track SQL activities per user in a very secured way.
this tool is much more secured and much more suitable than classical SQL clients to track and secure production data fixing activities.

  ### 24. DBHawk is amazingly versatile software. It is easy to setup and very easy to use. Users love it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2018

**What do you like best about DBHawk?**

It is supporting multiple database platforms, hence we don't need to switch between several Database clients.
We can easily create snippets and share some access to the NON DBHAWK users in other departments.
It is great, that we have one platform, that can be used inside of our company as well as outside - when connected on mobile device (iPad) via VPN.
System is fast and reliable, it keeps the history of the queries, so can get back to your previous work easily.
Inbuilt scheduler, TABLE import /export provides very agile scheduled system - we have replaced our customer build application with this feature.
Dashboard is simply amazing. By couple of clicks you can create amazing GRAPHICAL presentation of your data - basically simple BI system.
READ access to the DB - as simple as 1 click - you can define a database connection as read only without actually touching the DB user itself. This is great feature which we use when granting access to the Database to the non-technical people. User access control in general is very easy in DBHawk. Saves us a lot of time.
WebBased interface is saving us a lot of time with the local application setup. Everything is managed centrally and we can easily see, which use is working on what query. The queries can be shared.
Great value for the money.

**What do you dislike about DBHawk?**

since it is web-based, there are some limitations defined by the browser - if by any accident the user press REFRESH WEBPAGE (or F5), the DBHawk gets refreshed and you may loose you recent work. Or in case you are using iPad with external keyboard, it is a bit harder to navigate through the SQL code with arrows.
We are dependent on the availability of the server.
Running a SQL PLUS code on the ORACLE database is a bit tricky, to get a spool file that is generated by the query is not really straight forward thing, but it works.

**Recommendations to others considering DBHawk:**

Definitely try before buy. But I believe, you will love this product.
Take a closer look on the DASHBOARD and SNIPPETS features.

**What problems is DBHawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we are sharing the data from our database with colleagues from other departments. It is really easy to share the data via SNIPPETS and Dashboard - users don't even need to login, they can just directly access the data - almost like BI.
All databases at one place.
we are using DB Hawk for regular uploads of the data in the DATABASE - we don't need to use external applications anymore, as this is possible via DBHawk directly.
We are using it for remote support of our system - via mobile devices (laptops, ipads...)

  ### 25. Awesome software for a great price

**What problems is DBHawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of accessing Oracle tables. Being able to select tables quickly and easily has saved us countless time and made queries simple and fast.
