Good Business Practices for ControlOne **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Scott B. | M365 Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2025 **What do you like best about Cytracom?** I genuinely like about half of our vendors, not just the product they are supplying us, for how they do business. We'd seen a few issues where a two-person client of ours is using ControlOne from Cytracom to keep PCs at two different locations on the same network. It was the most feasible option for us to use a secure cloud gateway to keep the startup's costs down rather than buying two firewalls and creating a tunnel and getting the client to upgrade his home ISP for a static IP. At times, one user might be logged into multiple devices, and the devices have assigned IP addresses so a SQL connection can work. Regardless of the tech stuff, without me putting in a ticket, the lead engineer reached out and said they saw an issue and would like to offer a free license for the client to get another user account until they fixed it. I didn't even need to complain. The technology is wonderful, and onboarding has been great, but that is the kind of support that makes me like using them so much more. **What do you dislike about Cytracom?** The icon they use for me to click and manage a network for a client was very elusive for the first few days until I went through onboarding. I really can't complain for any other reason. **What problems is Cytracom solving and how is that benefiting you?** Connecting work from home and geographically disparate users get onto the same network, protected, and not bottle-necked by a singular firewall at an office somewhere. ### 2. Also, its customer support is one of the best where you get all types of assistance like over mail and chats and that too 24/7. File transfer is also one of the critical features of this software. **What do you dislike about Cytracom?** Although all the things are great about this feature yet, the major con lies in its deployment, where you can not deploy it over Linux and Chromebook. Also, it is a little bit expensive for small-sized enterprises. **Recommendations to others considering Cytracom:** Do use it once for all your meeting needs. **What problems is Cytracom solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have been using this software for almost all of my needs ranging from calls, texts, form submissions, and chats. I generally interact with peers using this for multiple business solutions in a remote framework. I like this software because of its one-in-all features and its assistance. ### 4. Call scheduling is also not convenient. **What problems is Cytracom solving and how is that benefiting you?** 1. Immediate communication can be done when there is any need. 2. Helps to communicate easily with clients. ### 5.
